I loved this suspenseful romance with Rowan and Adalyn. It was a pleasure to read, very well written. It as filled with danger, steamy scenes, family interactions and a wonderful mutt named Gumbo. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great romantic suspense. It was short, well laid out, and well written. I would have liked a bit more focus on the romance, but otherwise a really great and entertaining read!

I loved this redemption romance story! Adalyn and Rowan have to battle the ways they hurt each other in the past and a twisted killer on their way to admitting their feelings. Throughout this wild ride, the self talk is often hilarious, the friends are loyal, and Gumbo works his way into Adalyn’s heart.

Umm, yes please!! This was soo good! Plot was entertaining and kept thing’s moving along nicely. A little spice here and there was nice too. All in all, a great book.

This is the third book in this series and I 100% recommend all three of them. This entry in the series may take the award for the most thrilling book, yet. Adalyn and Rowan are forced into working together after her bad intel got his men killed. Needless to say, the work situation is fraught with awkwardness. Adalynn feels guilty even as Rowan realizes she isn’t guilty at all. Then danger sets in. And folks- Reus writes danger soooo well. The intrigue. The tension. The closeness that develops.

Buy all three of these and you won’t regret it. Money well spent, and so is the time in reading them.

This was another home run! This series is one of my favorites and I always look forward to the next book. This one was all about Adalyn and Rowan finally teaming up to work together to keep her family safe. While working together they finally start to explore their feelings for each other. There are some bumps in the road and a lot of history comes back to rear its ugly head. Will they make it through all of the hard times and be able to get their dream of being together? I was given a copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Finally, we get Adalyn and Rowan to work out their issues with each other. Fighting for Adalyn, the 3rd book in the Redemption Harbor Security System (though can be read as a standalone), brings us to New Orleans to where danger seems to be around every corner. Katie Reus writes romantic suspense characters better than anyone and Rowan and Adalyn are some of the best yet. The two have a history from a failed overseas mission when Adalyn worked for an alphabet agency and Rowan was in the military. Adalyn trusted the wrong person and they all suffered great loss because of it. Fast forward to them working adjacent to each other and while Rowan forgave Adalyn she can't seem to forgive herself. The past comes back to haunt them both as a mysterious person starts a dangerous spree tied to Adalyn.

I loved the chemistry, passion and humor they showed one another. The cast of characters around them, kept me laughing amidst the horrors being unleashed, especially Gumbo, the little rescue dog that falls in love with Adalyn. A great adventure that gets it's steaminess not only from the humidity of the City where it takes place, but the smoking hot passion between the pair. I hope this series never ends!

A steamy continuation of the series, I’m loving how the author is unpacking each character in the series and widening the world she has built.

Blame reversed, we start the book with Rowan holding Adalyn to blame for the death of his team, but time and events remind him that this wasn’t really the case. Adalyn does blame herself however and Rowan has a big job unpacking that over the course of the book as well as keeping both of them alive with the help of the wider team we already know and love

A danger and intrigue filled story with heaps of steam and action to keep the reader fully engaged

In the previous book, it was suggested that Adalyn Bonnevies had a prior relationship with Rowen, that ended badly. Here it is revealed that she was the CIA liaison officer for his marine unit in Afghanistan. They had a bit of flirting go on, both wanting more, but not willing to risk it, until their last mission went south. Her contact had given her false info which turned out to be a trap for Rowen's men. He would have been killed too, if he hadn't been side-line by an injury. He blamed her and she blamed herself, and sanctioned the bearer of the bad intel. Both ended up state side and working for Redemption Harbor Security. Their boss Skye thinks they will make a good team, while Rowen comes to an epiphany that it wasn't Adalyn's fault she was lied to. He is also suffering from PTSD.

Immediately after coming off their last job, Adalyn gets a call from her younger sister Fleur, that her best friend had been brazenly murdered right in front of their home. A call to her cell reveals that the murderer thought it was Fleur and he was going to hurt everyone she cares about until he finds her. While Adalyn immediately prepares to take a leave of absence to save her sister, Skye sends an entire team to New Orleans as her back up. As they search for clues, Rowan sticks to Adalyn to protect her and his heart, which he realizes is meant for her. Clues show that someone wants revenge for the disaster of that last mission. But who is it and how many people will be hurt until he is found? A fast pace adventure thundering to a heart stomping conclusion.

Wonderful characters with endearing personalities, witty repartee and a page turning story make this a book you won't want to put down. Can't want for the next in the series, which I think is about Ezra. (I still think that the first book should have been titled Saving Ezra, since he was the one that had been kidnapped). But it could be about Tiago and Fleur. I read an advanced reader's copy from NetGalley.com. This is my honest, unbiased and voluntary review.

Adelyn and Rowan have known each other for a while. Even though they both work for Redemption Harbor Security now, they have managed to avoid each other until now. Adelyn wants nothing to do with Rowan but he is determined to convince her to give him a chance. Will she forgive him or will the past continue to keep them apart?
Adelyn used to work for the CIA. In her role as a CIA agent, she worked with Rowan overseas. After a horrible accident, they have a falling out. I like that the author made Adelyn strong and capable but still made her human enough to carry the pain of what happened overseas. I was afraid she would instantly forgive Rowan but the author chose to make them deal with what happened so that they could move forward. Rowan still carries the pain of what happened overseas but he has come to terms for the most part. His focus is on making things right with Adelyn. I thought the bad guy was good and the way the team tracks him down was well done. The message of the book is that sometimes the past comes back to bite you. This book has a little bit of a crossover with the Red Stone Security series.
My one major issue with this story is that I think it will be forgettable. In order to write my review, I had to review the book for details. I can’t explain why it’s forgettable since I think the characters are interesting and I like the bad guy. I think it might be there is no big moment where it’s a huge emotional moment or a big explosive action moment. This story is quiet as compared to the other books in the series.
This is a contemporary mystery set in New Orleans. This is part of a series. I recommend reading the series in order. This book sets up the possibility of a new series. Even though I didn’t love this book, I think it is well written and will appeal to a lot of people. It’s very easy to read and enjoyable. I will read more from this author in the future because I usually really love books from this author.

This was another fantastic addition to this must read series.
With non stop action from cover to cover you won't be able to look away for multiple reasons, especially with twists you won't see coming.
Although by the time we hit the twist it seemed to feel rushed through with minuscule detail compared to the other thing that domineered the rest of the book. Which is a shame as it could of been just as brilliant as the concept of it.
I look forward to seeing what the author comes up with next.

I love being in the Redemption Harbor world...it was my first Katie Reus series and my favorite.

The suspense and romance is great in this book, as always.

It can be read as a standalone, but the first two book are great as well, so definitely read those too. And I'll always recommend the original Redemption Harbor series.

Another great book in the Redemption Harbor Security series! Enemies-to-lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and I really enjoyed Rowan and Adalyn's story.

An exciting read from the beginning. I haven't read the previous two books but the action stands alone. I'll go back to learn more about the characters eventually.
The connection between these two characters is strong but in great denial. Something went wrong in a mission and he wants to hate her, but she's busy hating herself. Back together in New Orleans Adalyn races to protect her sister after her friend in murdered. Someone wants Adalyn dead and is happy to take out her loved ones and childhood places. Is it obvious or a set up.
This story culminated into a whiz bang ending and I loved every moment.

I didn't realize this was a series until I started reading. However, I was able to read it just fine without starting with the first 2 books. This book has plenty of action, some spicy romance, and some twists and turns you don't see coming. Can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Rowan was quite the character, using reverse psychology and everything with Gumbo. HA! It's just the beginning of the two of them, Rowan and Adalyn, he just has to prove it to her. Loved the suspense and this cast of characters whom I've come to love. It's never over, even when you think it's over. Great read and loved the New Orleans setting.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

First I would like to thank Author Collective 20 for proving me an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is the story of Adalyn, former CIA security agent, who goes to New Orleans after her sister's roommate is murdered in front of their apartment. After arriving she gets an anonymous message taking credit for the murder and Adalyn calls her team for help and the first one to arrive is Rowan, former Marine security agent. As time goes on this anonymous person bombs Adalyn's old school and straps a bomb to her ex-boyfriend and the team is no closer to figuring out who is doing this. While Adalyn is putting all of the blame on herself Rowan is always there to support and protect her and be her mental and literal punching bag. While the team works to find the culprit they also have to avoid NOPD and Adalyn is fighting her growing feelings for Rowan.

What I Loved:
- Sisters, I love that Adalyn drops everything when her sister calls and wants to protect her at all costs even from her own teammates
- Rowan, he held some ill feelings toward Adalyn when she joined Redemption Harbor due to some history but after he came to terms with the past he does everything in his power to rebuild their relationship even if it means she craps on him constantly
- Redemption Harbor team, I love this series cause all of the members of the team bring something unique and fun to the mix and keeps the reader on their toes
- Twist, I did see the twist coming but it was still fun to see how it was finally revealed since I was not expecting how it all ended
- She saves him, normally in these books its the male character who saves the female but I loved that this was Adalyn saving Rowan cause that is just the type of person she is

Overall this was a great addition to the Redemption Harbor series and I'm so excited to see how the dynamic changes with having an office in New Orleans going forward. If you are looking for a romantic suspense with a enemies to lovers (on her part), touch her and die hero and a lot of fun characters to round out the story this is absolutely the book for you.

Adalyn has been trying to make amends for her big mistake for years. But suddenly, someone is out for revenge and the team at Redemption Harbor Security is in full force to prevent future tragedy. It's the perfect time for Rowan to let Adalyn know how he has forgiven her and how he wants her.

I enjoyed these characters very much! I'm so glad that I found this series. I will have to go back and read the first book at some point. I did like Fighting for Reese better, so I didn't rate this book as high. Katie Reus's writing is so easy to read and she always tells a good story. This is the third book of hers that I have read and I definitely have her on my list of go-to authors. Fighting for Adalyn is a fun, quick read and I think most people would love it.

In Fighting for Reese, we are given Adalyn's backstory and why Rowan seems to hate her. During a mission, Rowan's men were killed due to bad intel. Not only did you blame Adalyn but she blamed herself as well. Now in Fighting for Adalyn, someone is out to get revenge on Adalyn. Rowan and the rest of Redemption Harbor Security join in the search for the villain and keep Adalyn safe.

The story is well-written and goes at a fast pace. I liked both the main characters and as always, it is great to see the previous characters.

Great story with all you want in a murder mystery/thriller, Katie didn’t hold back at all in this one and really gave us her all in writing this. I love a strong female lead and that is very much what we got in this story.
