I got accepted to review this book years ago, but unfortunately never got around to reading it. Apologies for this.
Oh! Boy are these two quite a pair. Two very very broken people.
Violet is the anti-social roommate of Callie who witnessed the murder of her parents which left her distrustful, hurt and abandoned so you know she is going to have some issues.
Luke is the best friend of Kayden. He is a supportive friend who drowns out his life by sex and drinking. It is way easier to be numb then have to deal with his past and present life.
With a random jump out the window it throws these two broken peoples paths together.
It was angsty but good, though I remember it being really long. I'm not sure why I never finished the series, but maybe I should pick it up again to finish it now.
Requested and downloaded this book back in 2013 with every intention of reading it but then it expired on my device before I had the chance. Have felt bad about that and as a result haven't wanted to leave a review but with more and more publishers relying on Feedback ratings I need to clear out some of these older titles in my queue.
The book gave me so many feels. Just like The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden, this one was packed with emotions and swoons, and you can't help but root for these two damaged and broken characters.
