This novel is a cozy romance. I figured out the ending pretty quickly. But it does have a few surprising twists that kept my attention.
I didn't realize it's the fourth installment in the series until I came to write this review. The author does a good job of including enough backstory so readers don't feel like they're missing important details.
I appreciate the healing journey Bethany undertakes. It gives me hope for restored relationships.

She can’t ask all those questions now that he’s gone. Memories of the past resurfaces. Can she walk away from the place? Can she sell it without worrying about the animals and volunteers? She meets Clive Browning, her brother best friend and they get off to a bad start. He doesn’t know the whole story. He took care of her brother until he died. He’s a veterinarian who volunteers with the care of the horses. As they spend time together, their feelings come to surface. Will she ignore those feelings? Does Clive feel the same way? She’s never had feelings like this before. So this is what love feels like. She never felt like this with her ex husband. Lots of emotions and guilt in this story. Can the characters let the past go to move forward with their future? Bethany learns a lot of secrets that were being kept from her. Can she forgive her best friend and ex husband for what they did? The characters are wonderful but need to figure out what they both want from each other and for themselves. Worth the read. Hard to put down. First book I’ve read by Sharon Booth and won’t be the last. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

I had a bit of a hard time finishing this book, unfortunately, I paused reading and had to come back to it later on several times as the story's pacing was a bit too slow for my taste, making it difficult to stay fully engaged. That being said, the story is actually beautiful and explores themes of loss, forgiveness, and new beginnings in a very heartfelt way. The plot unfolds gradually, with a lot of focus on introspection and small-town life, which may appeal to some readers but left me wishing for a bit more momentum in the storyline.

This was an okay read, but not something I would look to read again. The story and characters were fine, although it was too slow paced for my tastes.

In the latest Tuppenny Bridge novel, Bethany and readers return to Tuppenny Bridge when it is the last thing that Bethany wants. With her estranged brother Joseph’s death, Bethany is reminded of happier -- and unhappier -- times from her childhood in Tuppenny Bridge, but ultimately the unhappy times win out and she decides to sell their childhood home (now a horse sanctuary) and the animals on the property. Those who have been working at the sanctuary, Summer and Joseph’s best friend Clive, cannot understand her reasons and stir up new emotions in Bethany, perhaps resulting in a new beginning for her in Tuppenny Bridge, until a secret revelation makes her question everything. A story of trauma, healing, and dealing with the ghosts of one’s past, this book has some serious and heavy emotions entwined with the narrative. Bethany, not a perfect protagonist by any means, is relatable and sympathetic with a traumatic past (trigger warnings for animal, emotional, and domestic/child abuse for those who need it). A complicated and incredibly emotional novel, this is an excellent continuation of the Tuppenny Bridge series, and the new and old characters in this book are complex, dynamic, and relatable, continuing to grow and change from previous books in the series.

What a beautifully crafted story. I was literally there at Tuppenny Bridge as the wonderfully descriptive writing kept me enchanted from the very first page. A stunning read

What a warm, cosy read. I love this authors writing. Easy to read and follow the story.

A lovely friends to lovers romance.

Trust should not be easily granted as people can be deceived and trusting too much can be the worst mistake of them all. Bethany had a troubled childhood and was terribly hurt by her family, fleeing home seemed to be the only way out. After her brother dies and she has to return to her childhood home she discovers true love and also the truth that remained in her past. Coming Home to Tuppenny Bridge has a good plot, is well-written and touching. Great read!

Great summer read!

While the overall storyline was on the predictable side, I kind of expected that going in. What made this so enjoyable was the way in which Sharon Booth draws you into the scenery and lives of the characters. There were definitely some surprises, and some pretty sad and angering sections. But overall, it was a very sweet story and quite likable. Bethany returns home after the untimely death of her brother, to find that her childhood home is dilapidated, and a horse sanctuary! This was my first from this author, though this is the fourth book in the series.

Coming Home to Tuppenny Bridge was a great read. It's about a woman who's brother passes away and she has to go back to her childhood home. Once she gets there she learns a lot of information about current and past circumstances. This is just a cute story that will get you in your feels, and the twists keep your attention. I think this book is worth the read! My only question is if there will be a book 2?

I thought I'd read this book before as the characters seemed similar then realised it was part of a series and I'd met some of the characters before. I enjoyed the side stories more than the 2 main characters but enjoyed it still.

Book four of the Tuppeny bridge series and a series which gets better and better. The reader becomes completely immersed in the village community. Bethany’s story this time as she returns unwillingly to her childhood home on the death of her estranged brother Joseph.
Very well written, interesting characters, and a good plot which I would recommend.

Another good book in the Tuppenny Bridge series, this time Clive and Bethany, Joseph's long lost sister are the main characters. I enjoyed this book, though fairly predictable, it is interesting and the relationships and friendships are well described. It is a part of a series, but is ok if you haven't read others ,though it gives you more insight into the town and the people living there if you have. Ups and downs as people jump to conclusions about the intentions of others, but that is fairly usual in these sorts of books. Quite tragic that Bethany and Joseph had not seen each other for so long, but I suppose there is some sort of resolution .

Coming Home to Tuppenny Bridge is the 4th book in a series. Although I didn't read the other 3 books, I did find this book entertaining.

The main character, Bethany learns her estranged brother has died she is devastate. Returning to her home town is the last thing she wants to do but she has no choice. It is a beautiful yet emotional story telling about the struggles Bethany goes through dealing with the past and the present. I feel even if you've not read the other books in the series you will love this book. I highly recommend it.
