Excellent book, loved it! Looking forward to more from this author! Apologies for the lateness of my review

a Strong female lead,
45+ year old in a teenage body
Thoughtful and intelligent
Holds potential beyond what this dystopian world would ever allow

It was an immersive read that I really enjoyed, and I hope to see more from this author!

The Adjacent Probable by Skylar Ray Foxx was so good and different. If you like AI, science fiction, mystery, thriller, world of technology, with diverse characters, and political turmoil then you will love this book.

Skylar did an amazing job with this book, I was hooked and didn’t want to put it down. Skylar did a great job with the storyline, the attention to detail, the well written characters, and the plot. It’s very scary take of our future and what it would look like if the extremist gain power and control of our country. The world of science and technology is mind-blowing and scary how close it is to becoming reality. I’m so glad that I found this book on NetGalley and was approved because I don’t know if I would’ve found it otherwise and I for sure would’ve missed out on this amazing book. I really enjoyed this book!! I love the idea, the cure for cancer and all of the futuristic/ dystopian themes are very good. I think it was hard to get through with a lot of slang words that I did not understand. It kind of messed up the flow since there was no translation, and I was not aware of the language in the book.

After a string of disappointing Sci-Fi reads, I approached "The Adjacent Probable" with tempered expectations. But I'm delighted to report that this novel exceeded my expectations and proved to be a hidden gem – a lucky find that I'm so glad I stumbled upon!
The author has masterfully crafted a vivid and immersive portrayal of a dystopian society, where a tyrannical president holds absolute power. The narrative skillfully explores the profound impact of this oppressive regime on the lives of the main protagonist and those around them, weaving a compelling tale of resilience and struggle. The poignant journey of Aisling, Nat, and Jonas, marked by their heart-wrenching struggles and devastating losses, fosters a deep emotional connection with the reader. I found myself completely invested in their story, feeling like I was right there with them, experiencing their anguish, sorrow, and terror firsthand. The use of multiple perspectives adds a rich layer of depth to the narrative, allowing for a truly immersive reading experience. This narrative masterfully weaves together the intricate threads of family dynamics, exploring the complexities and challenges that arise from the bonds of kinship. At its core, the story is a powerful exploration of the human spirit, delving into the struggles of maintaining faith and hope in the face of unimaginable adversity. With unflinching honesty, it portrays the difficult choices and moral dilemmas that test one's resolve to do what is right, even when the world seems to be at its darkest.
If you're a fan of intellectually stimulating science fiction, like 'Transcendence' or the literary mastery of Dan Brown's 'Digital Fortress', then this novel is sure to resonate with you. I'm thoroughly hooked on The Adjacent Series and eagerly anticipate exploring more of Skylar Ray Foxx's captivating works. With their skillful fusion of technology, suspense, and philosophical inquiry, Foxx has earned a spot on my must-read list.

THE ADJACENT PROBABLE is one of the best stories I've read in a while. However, due to formatting issues, a lot was taken from the story for me. I viewed it on my Kindle app on the cell phone and also my Kindle eReader. The other thing that took away from the story for me is that I had to keep looking up some of the Spanish words, esp the slang. I did go back and reread the cover pages to make sure I didn't have the Netgalley uncorrected proof, but unfortunately, it wasn't.
THE ADJACENT PROBABLE  takes you to a time and place in which the president is a dictator in the making, a private company has a cure for cancer and Aisling, along with Daryl her AI, has a new lease on life. 
As the story opens, we see Aisling, a brilliant human being with cancer on the verge of finding a cure. She wants to freely give the cure to all who need it, while the company looks at the bottom line. President Dolion is the would be dictator looking for the longevity research so he can rule the world no matter the cost. Jonas is the Christian father just trying to survive and decide how far he can go. Nat is out of the military, trying to live with her past and the life she has been given.
THE ADJACENT PROBABLE has so much from today's circumstances incorporated that the reader can't help but believe today's impossible could be possible.  If you like true science fiction, you definitely need to read this.
