This book is the first book of the Hades series. I previously read the Madison Kate series before reading this as this series is within the same Shadow Grove world and mentions some of the characters in that series.

Overall I really enjoyed this one! I felt like this had a very similar theme as the MK series. I think this book in particular was very tame with the spice compared to the other series, but I assume things will spice up in the next book!

In typical Tate James fashion, this ended on a cliffhanger so I am ready to read the next book!

This book was delightfully twisty and I can confidently say I will be reading the rest of this series.

I loved Hayden as a main character and seeing her be an absolute badass when it came to being the only woman in a room full of men. This book ends on a juicy cliff hanger making me wish I had the other book right now - because I would be dropping everything to read it right now.

One thing is that I do think it's helpful if you've read the Madison Kate series before this. There are A LOT of characters in this book and some that are mentioned from that series. It's not super necessary, but would probably be smart since they take place in the same world.

Between the writing and the twisty turns and drool worthy characters I had a great time reading this. Thank you netgalley for the arc!

I don’t know what I love more, the badass FMC, the slow AND quick burn spice with multiple male MMC’s or just the whole thrill of the book. Whatever it is I ate this up so quickly. I couldn’t get enough of Hades and all her badassery. This is definitely one of my favorite reads of the year so far.

Omg ! I absolutely love this book. If you have read the MK series ( chef kiss , btw) The hades series picks up basically right were MK leaves off, so if you haven’t read those, go do it and the come back and start 7th circle.
Tate is the cliffhanger queen but she is worth it, so this book wasn’t an exception, now I have to run and buy the rest of the series because I can’t wait to finish it.

Tate James knows how to write a story. And Hades story is one of my favorites!

These books end on a cliffhanger so be warned you will want to read them all right away and possible lose your self to all other responsibilities.

Hades has the best guys and Daddy Cass is one of my favorite book boyfriends. We meet him in Madison Kate’s story and we finally see who he is really pining over. Lucas, Zed and Cass the Hades trio you never knew you needed.

This is an action packed adventure that is chaos of Hades and how she runs Shadow Grove. It is a dark romance.

Great book that kept me up all night in a good way! Reverse Harem….. say less! Badass Redhead Female Crime Boss! Yes! Golden Retriever Boy Toy! Also yes! Overprotective Best Friend Second! God yes! Silver Fox kinky MC President! Perfection! Seriously read this book and have the second one ready to go.

I forgot that Tate is a SADIST with cliffhangers in her books and I live for them

7th Circle has finally been picked up! Love the new cover, couldn't wait to dive into this world. Highly recommend everyone read, start with the madison kate series first though as there is character cross over.

7th circle follows Hades, a badass female gangster who runs Shadow Grove. When a one night stand gets under her skin and becomes something more, the timing could not be worse. Someone is targeting her from beyond the grave, at least that's what they want her to believe.

Hades is an awesome contemporary heroine and the entire world building is fantastic. The entire cast of characters is amazing and really sucks you in. The men in Hades' life are hot, messy, but lovable. A great first book in a completed series.

Wow! I really really enjoyed this book. So much so, I immediately began the following books in the series and am on the fourth and final book and realized I hadn’t reviewed the first yet lol
The FMC is a strong, independent, stubborn mob boss. She’s 23, running business, and not afraid to enforce her rules brutally. Her age felt somewhat young, however given all she’s been through it helped me get pass it.
The MMC are all of course super sexy, one of which definitely grumpy. Fun banter, just enough possessiveness, plenty of steam… all the elements that get you hooked on a series like this. Each book ends in a cliff, and there are some trigger warnings so know what you’re getting into ahead of time. But I greatly enjoyed this read and now I want to start the Madison Kate series which is set in the same world with character overlap so I’m excited to see what happened before this series… also hoping for a Seph spinoff with Rex’s boys…

I read the Madison Kate series from this author and I was really excited for this one. And let me tell you, it delivered exactly what it needed to deliver. The way that Tate James writes is so addicting, I want to binge read the whole series. Hades is such a badass and I can definitely see why she has not one, not two but THREE men wrapped around her finger.

There were a few phrases that were repeated unnecessarily repeated and no it isn't a literary masterpiece but if you are in the mood for;

✅️badass gang leader/business woman
✅️gripping story
✅️smut
✅️tension
✅️multiple love interest aka why choose dark romance

it checks all the boxes.

Huzzah! Return to Shadow Grove, immersion into an almost alternate world of violence, that could indeed be real. Strong female lead surrounded by strong and loyal men, and did we say hot? Hot on many levels and murder is commonplace. Intense and addictive, and yes ends on a cliff ...

I’m so glad that I decided to reread this when I saw it on @netgalley. I ran so fast to read that it was a read now! Revisiting this book was an absolute delight. I loved Madison Kate and I knew I would love Hades just as much. The character development, the intense plot twists, and the fierce determination of the characters kept me hooked from start to finish. The author’s writing style is captivating and the world-building is immersive.

If you haven’t read this one yet, please add it to your TBR, especially if you are a fan of strong, badass female main characters (FMC). The protagonist’s resilience and complexity make her a compelling character you can’t help but root for. This book is a perfect blend of action, romance, and suspense. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an engaging and thrilling read!

I have been wanting to read this series for a while now and I'm so glad I finally got my hands on 7th Circle.

This book will intrigue you from the moment you pick it up. It's smartly written and entertaining as hell. Hades is one badass female character that I certainly wouldn't want to make mad or get on the bad side of.

I loved the character dynamic and the push and pull between Hades, Lucas, Zed, and Cass. There's a lot to unpack and explore and I definitely can't wait for more.

Filled with action, suspense, and lots of heat, 7th Cicle is not to be missed. This story will keep you on your toes and the ending will leave you desperate to get your hands on the next book in this series.

This series is a follow up (but still stands on its own) series to the Madison Kate series. This books follows Hade's, who is a ruthless boss in Shadow Grove, who leads the supposedly wiped out Timberwolves. She has created a massive legitimate business, with several different spots (all the books titles, are actually one of the spots), however someone wants to take that from her, and this series follows her struggles around that, and falling for 3 men at the same time. Be warned, this book does end on a cliff hanger.

I remember reading this book awhile back and loved it !!! I was a big fan of the Madison Kate series so being able to read this one was so much fun and entertaining!!! I loved all of the characters and especially the main character ! This book series and Tate James universes are always something that I come back to read every time I need to get out of a slump because I know her and her books will never fail !!

I’m simply obsessed with everything this author writes. This book honestly has something for everyone. Romance, suspense, mystery, violence, humor… and it’s the perfect mix of everything.
The building of the Harem is slow and gradual and I just wanted to scream at her to have them all already, but of course Tate James know what I need better than I do because I definitely couldn’t have plotted it out better.
Be prepared to start this book and not want to finish until the you’ve read the whole series.
The book ends on a massive cliff hanger, so have book two ready to go.

This book was fun and super binge-able! Have a female Hades was so interesting and I LOVED that aspect. It was spicy, why choose (love!). I haven’t read anything else from this author but I definitely will now!

The goddess of RH herself brought me one of my favorites….book one of Hades Series. You want to be mopping yourself up from the floor at the end of a book…pick up this book, put it on your TBR and thank later…honestly any of James’ books but this one will have you sweating. The characters are very well fleshed, the storyline/plot…delicious, the ending YAS….bring on book 2. I am going to try and keep this review short and sweet because I always can’t help but be an over-sharer. Get ready for the ride of your life here with Hades, Lucas, Cass and Zed….They’re going to take you through it here and you’re going to love every single minute of it.

loved literally everything about this book, I couldn’t even come up with anything to say I wish was even a smidge different. Fast paced, page turning read. The cliff hanger at the end will get you so hold on to your butts because book 2 is going to pop off in the best way ever. Def a great series to jump onto if you want to get into Tate James’ books. Put this on your TBR when it comes out August 20, 2024.
