Absolutely exquisite. Anarchy is book 2 in the Hades series and if it was possible this book was even better than 7th Circle. The tension is fantastic. Do not pass on this series.

Tate James does it again. She always leaves you on a cliffhanger so you're begging for more!
I'm not going to give anything away but I officially have trust issues. This hurt my heart.
I usually have a favorite guy with these, but there are two stand outs for me. Lucas is the sweetest baby, I love his youth and pure innocence. Zed... he knows how to court a lady. Whew.
Excited to start the next book!

Anarchy did not disappoint. I thought the first book ended with one heck of a cliffhanger, but this book left me speechless. Anarchy picks up where 7th Circle left off with Lucas fighting for his life and Hades determined and fighting to get back what is hers. She truly is a force to be reckoned with but with that force also comes vulnerability and openness when it comes to Lucas, Cass and Zed. Hades has to face that she truly cares for the 3 men in her life while someone from her past is set on revenge. He is causing havoc and destruction to everything important to her and no one is safe. There's more to Lucas than what meets the eyes, he seems to have hidden talents and his mother isn't as clueless and she seems. Hades reveals what led up to and happen the night she destroyed her father, her ex-Chase and anyone else involved with them. This story ends with one heck of a cliffhanger that left me desperately wanting to read the next book. This story is full of suspense, destruction, revenge, betrayal, drugs, death, mentions sensitive subject matters, steamy scenes, laugh out loud moments and so much more. Readers loving a dark, dirty and gritty story will love this suspense filled story.

Ohhh Hades, what a dream of a series this is! Book 2 of 4 in the series, this book pumps up the drama SO FAST and then it leaves you on such a cliff dive, you dont know how to process is all so you run to the next book! (Was that a super vague statement, yes, it was, but I hate spoilers, so I had to).

This book is so fun with Cass being protective, Zed being protective, and Gumdrop/ Lucas just trying to match up to the boys! The group dynamic is so fun and I just love them all finding their feet as a unit and trying to protect one another, not just Hades, because home girl is TOUGH!

Final Rating: 5⭐, 3.5🌶️

Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

This series just keeps getting better I swear - I think Hades is now my favourite FMC by Tate James. Tate James is honestly one of my favourite why choose authors out there and every book is better than the last. This story was full of twists, spice and it had me constantly on the edge of my seat.

And then finally in true Tate James fashion the cliff hanger at the end DESTROYED me... at least all the books are out so I can immediately find out what happens next!! <3

Hades is my favorite series in Tate James' Shadow Grove Series. Hades herself is such a great FMC: strong, resilient, independent, but secure enough to lean on her men when she needs them. I think the MMCs in this series are perfection, and Cass reigns supreme in my mind. Cass, Lucas, and Zed are the perfect reverse harem with your grumpy, your cinnamon roll, and your possessive and aggressive best friend. Their relationships all develop further in Anarchy, and I love the boys learning to get along and work together.

The plot in this series is electric, and it will keep you guessing from start to finish. The ending of Anarchy will have you absolutely freaking out. I love Tate's ability to grip you into a story where you don't want to do anything but shirk all responsibilities to devour her books.

I love Hades and her men SO much.
