Do It Anyway Devotional was just the kick in the rear end that I needed. The devotional stories each day were relatable, heartwarming, sometimes a bit heartbreaking, and always inspiring. This is a devotional book that is hard to put into words but is so necessary for our world today! There are times we don't want to do things - but we should do them anyway! Maybe we don't want to start that ministry - do it anyway! Maybe we don't want to join the worship team - do it anyway!
I love that Ms. Leonard uses the power of God to tell us that we should do the things He's calling us to do anyway - even when we don't want to or don't feel like we can.
This is apparently a companion book to the author's book "Do It Anyway," which I have not read. However, I think this book can stand on its own merits.
In general, I love devotional books, and I read many of them each year. This collection is very relatable and uplifting. It follows a standard format, complete with a Bible verse, devotion, and then a prayer at the end. The author includes life lessons that she learned from her late father. Each entry is short and to the point, so it is easy to fit it into a busy day or your daily devotional time. Good questions that can be beneficial to those who enjoy journaling during their devotional time are also included.
Great devotional! I enjoyed reading it every day and spending time in the Word alongside it.
I received an ARC copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher and all opinions are my own.
Each day of this devotional contains scripture, a relatable lesson, and ends with a prayer.
This can be a quick "I did my devo today" OR you can really spend some time. There are good questions; be honest. "If Jesus walked up to you today, could you easily drop whatever nets you're holding? Could you suddenly, without any fear or reservation, say that you will follow your Lord and Savior?"
Use your Bible and a journal or notebook alongside the Do It Anyway Devotional, and it will definitely deepen your relationship with Jesus.
Thanks to NetGalley for my advanced ebook. Opinions are my own.
Do It Anyway Devotional: 60 Days to a Bolder Faith by Tasha Cobbs Leonard is a wonderful devotional. Its short devotions quickly get to the heart of the matters they are highly accessible and perfect for keeping your focus on the Lord. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.
Although I have not read the author's book Do It Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this devotional! Down to earth, "real", and highly relatable, the entries are uplifting and full of faith.
I especially love the simple, heartfelt and honest prayers at the end of each devotion.
Highly recommend.
My thanks to Waterbrook for allowing me to access a DRC of the book via NetGalley. Publication is 10/22/24. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own and are freely given.

This is a nice devotional especially if used as a companion to Tasha’s book Do It Anyway. Several of the devotionals contain life lessons the author gained from her late father which leads me to believe this devotional is also a tribute to her father as well.
Thank you NetGalley and WaterBrook & Multnomah publishers for allowing me to read this ARC.
I really enjoyed reading this. The review of scriptures and prayer at the end of each chapter was instrumental in improving my faith in GOD.
I really wanted to like this devotional. It didn’t have enough depth for me personally. It might be best suited for someone unchurched and new to faith.
Each day is broken down very well. The title of each day is ‘something’ It, such as Do It, Pursue It, Use It. There is a Bible verse for each one followed by the reading that helps explain that day’s thought. Each day ends with a prayer. Wonderful and uplifting! I really enjoyed this devotional.
I have read many devotionals but this one might be one of my absolute favorites. We not only get a scripture to read but we end our devotional with a prayer. Yes lord this is good.
Beautiful, relatable, little popcorn bits for the soul!!
This is a perfect biblical devotional for anyone who thinks "I just don't have any time to sit and do a daily devotional"
Each entry is like a breath of fresh air that starts my day in the mindset of Christ. I love that each day includes a small prayer at the end. I love that this is a read-only with no lines for Journaling because that seems to always be where I fall off the devotional wagon.
So very thankful to have been granted an ARC by WaterBrook Multnomah and NetGalley. These opinions were given freely and are my own.
This is a very good devotional for each of us to be brave and do what our dream anyway, rooted from a life that trusting in Jesus. We are far far more strength than what we can ever imagine, by the grace of God.
