This one was definitely my favorite of the two! These were so quick and I loved / hated that. I loved these stories and characters so much I wished we gotten more. But at the same time I also just loved these quick reads.
These two characters and this love story was absolutely adorable! I loved Cam and Tabby so much !!

A big thank you to NetGalley and Maple Laughs Romance for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 2nd in a series, but reads as a stand alone. This is a very quick read (81 pages). It is fun and the characters are likeable. It is a friends to lovers romance. 3.5 stars

This novella 😍 WOW I really didn’t think the first book could be topped but they’ve done it. I can’t recommend these novellas another if you are a big romance reader you will love this. I feel like compared to the first book we had so much more built up between the mmc and fmc, and to have done it so well in so few chapters is insane.

This was a cute, cheesy and easy-to-read book with well-written characters. The spice was good and the characters were really likeable. The romance was well-developed and did not feel rushed.

If you like fast-paced contemporary romance with best friends to lovers trope and a HEA, then you will enjoy this book.

Thank you so much Danika Bloom, Mia Sands and Netgalley for this ARC copy!

Such an easy read that had me squealing at parts. A lot of fun and highly recommend. I think I'd even say I prefer this to the first book

I got approved for the first book in this series and loved it, so I had high hopes going into this second book and I have to say, this book did not disappoint. I might have even enjoyed this book more than the first one! I just think the story was well written, relatable, and it felt realistic. I will definitely recommend this series to my patrons at the library.

“Check Out that Billionaire” by Mia Sands and Danika Bloom is a delightful addition to the Bookish Billionaires of Maple Valley series. This charming tale follows the story of a lifelong friendship put to the test by a growing crush. When Cam, the sweet and dependable guy friend, steps into the role of a romantic hero, hearts flutter and sparks fly. It’s a light-hearted, swoon-worthy read that captures the magic of realizing love might have been hiding in plain sight all along. Perfect for those who enjoy a blend of humor, heart, and the timeless theme of friends becoming lovers.

I preferred this book much more to the first book in this series as it felt as though the story wasn’t just completely surrounding the idea of sex.
The longing between them is obvious in the scene at Cams apartment when they kiss for the first time.
One thing I wish the author would focus on is expanding the story more. They always feel slightly too short and like there’s not quite enough information within them which makes the book feel disappointing.

Tabitha and Cam have been friends a long time but they've each been hiding their true feelings from one another and must decide if taking the next step will ruin their close friendship. Not to mention if Cam's big secret will ruin things between them forever. Childhood friends-to-lovers is one of my absolute favorite tropes. Another light novella, the second in a series set in Maple Valley: the town where everyone loves to read, you can't swing a cat without hitting a billionaire, and there are robots in the library. You know, typical small-town America. ;) A nice morsel of escapist reading with an HEA.

Thanks to NetGalley for the eARC of this book, this is my objective review.

This is the second book in the Bookish Billionaire series. While they are standalones, I would recommend reading the first book first as there are a few references that would make slightly more sense.

Check out that Billionaire is about two friends who spend all their time together, but one of them is keeping a pretty big secret. They are both secretly in love with each other and express this in different ways.

I loved reading this short novella. I read it in one sitting. I am not normally a big fan of friends to lovers but this was too cute. I couldn’t help but love it.

I love how relatable this book series is with all the bookish references.

I enjoyed this cute novella, loved the characters ans their connection was obvious. There are not alot of scenes but the scenes were well detailed that the story did not feel rushed. The connection and love between these characters was known instantly so the love between these two felt genuine and not rushed.

Thank you Net Galley, Mia Sands and Danika Bloom for the chance to read this book.

Friends to lovers in a quick novella, done right. Best friends who share a love of reading and harbor secret feelings for each other and a secret… but like a great secret really! I loved it all.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Tabitha and Cameron. They have known each other for all their lives. They are best friends. Tabitha works at the library. Cameron is a secret romance writer. Cameron shows up at the library for a book club meeting. They are discussing his book. They read a sex scene, Tabitha faints. Cameron takes her back to his apartment and explains everything. They have issues but work them out and fall in love.

The second novella in the librarians-falling-for-sexy-billionaires-who-also-love-to-read was even more fun than the first one. It sure helped that this one is a best-friends-to-lovers romance so there was no awkward insta-love/lust and I enjoyed that; I usually do not care for friends-to-lovers but for novellas the trope works wonders.

I also liked that it features a bit of historical romance too as the book club book in this novella is a romance with a duke, naturally.

It was cute, it was fun. I did not get a good feeling of the heroine and I wanted her to be more fleshed-out, but alas, still a fun read and there were highish stakes too!

This is a cute quick read.

Gabriella and Cam are best friends. Their relationship is a friends only type of relationship. When Gabriella met Cam she had a huge crush on him, but when she realized that her feelings were not returned, she decided they would be best friends instead.

Cam has been in love with Gabriella for so long he wrote a series of books with her as the inspiration for his MFC. He knows that she will never return his feelings, so he keeps this secret from her.

With the help of a meddling book club will these two see what is so clear to everyone else??

This was a very short novella. It could easily have been longer. I would really have liked to read more about both of the main characters. It was a little too quick for my liking. On the other hand, I was in love with all of the book-obsessed gifts in the story. Are these real things??? I need them all!

If you love really short books with a happy ending you will love this one.

Thank you Maple Laughs Romance and NetGalley for this book in exchange for my very honest review.

This plot is any book lovers fantasy and I read this short read from start to finish in one sitting. It’s a short light hearted fun read. The male main character is her long time best friend and one of her favorite steamy historical romance authors in secret.

Tabitha, the main character, is bursting with personality that makes you instantly love and relate to her in many ways. She’s funny, nerdy, quirky, a book worm, and bubbly. There were many moments I was laughing out loud and blushing while reading this one. The side characters in this story add a rich element and feel well developed. For the short time we get to know them, they feel like long time friends.

For being a short light hearted read, the romance between the two main characters, Tabitha and Chris, is well developed, doesn’t feel rushed one bit, and had me so invested to see where things would go between them. There are many scenes filled with tension wondering when the secret will come out.

I would say this story is pretty spicy with a great balance between plot and spice. The steamy scenes were super well written in my opinion and definitely plays on a book lovers fantasy.

Overall, I loved this quick read and it’s perfect for someone in a book slump. This truly felt like it was written for a reader.

A quick read.

We follow best friends Cam and Tabitha as they hide their feelings from each other, as well as Cams big secret- he is Tabitha's favorite historical romance writer - Abigigal Cameron (penname).
Tabitha finally confessed to Cam that she loves him and he reciprocates, only to divulge his secret about his side job, being an author. She is angry with him but all is well in the end and they marry and live happily ever after.

A quick 75pg read on NetGalley. Very cute, predictable. Author mistyped name of Abigail Cameron's penname on pg 43, typing Amelia, which annoyed me.

If you looking for a quick read, check it out.
