Wow. Just wow. The fact that this was based on a true story and let's be honest, many similar ones broke my heart at first. Then I realized Ava is a flipping strong woman who changed her path and that's not the ending of most similar stories.

This was a thrilling read. Full of information, frustration, love and every emotion you can think of. How can someone end up in the life she had..
Full of twists and turns, fab characters based on a true story as well, its hard to believe, great ending.

Based on a true story. It begins in the ‘60s when a woman marries a violent man. She works in bars, turns to drugs and alcohol, while trying to raise her children. It follows her life and how she turns her life around. Very good!
