For some reason, this one just didn't do it for me. I got kind of bored bouncing back and forth between the wife and mistress's POVs. A few revelations are made towards the end that finally piqued my interest. Not a bad story overall, I just think maybe I wasn't in the mood for this right now.

Thank you to NetGalley and Rowen Chambers for providing this book, with my honest review below.

My Husband’s Mistress was an incredibly twisty novel that had me guessing as to whether I was reading the story of a woman deluded or one done wrong… or both! We meet Miranda, the wife, and Ivy, the mistress early on. The character that had the most intrigue (in my perspective) is the husband, Paxton. Is he telling the truth or not? Are we okay with his actions, regardless?

I loved the reading journey I went on with this book. Towards the end I guessed at what was happening, but truly it wasn’t until the last 20% or so. I enjoyed this and hat’s off to Rowen Chambers, in a world full of thrillers this book shines.

Thank you Net Galley and the publisher for an ARC of this book.
Miranda wants her husband to be with her constantly. She is smothering him and he needs a break from her, He checks out a health club and sees a very attractive young woman teaching yoga so he figures he can join and take her class to get away from his clingy wife. He starts coming home late every night because he is with the yoga instructor but makes other excuses to keep his wife from getting too suspicious. There are some real twists that happen that are pretty over the top but still an enjoyable story.

Thank you, netgallery, for allowing me to review this novel for an honest review.
I did enjoy this book from beginning to end. It was not how I thought it would end but better.
I do feel it was predictable at times, but it didn't bother me much.

I DEVOURED this book. If I could have done it in one sitting, I would have (stupid responsibilities). I loved how this book kept me guessing. I felt the vibes of an unreliable narrarator but I couldn’t tell which one until a little farther into the book. My Husband’s Mistress while a different plot altogether gave me the chills that The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward gave me, at the same time as the thrill and twists of the Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose. I loved the insight into the FMC head and the reveal as to how it all unfolded was just *chefs kiss* perfect. Your heart goes out to some of the characters in the book, though maybe not the obvious ones. I was a little disappointed with the build up, and the way a big plot point unfolds, but honestly just a wonderful read across the board. I highly recommend this book to readers of Jeneva Rose!

She doesn't want a divorce. She wants revenge. Miranda Gilcrest never imagined she'd be living out the cliché of her husband cheating on her with a much younger woman. And yet mere months after her wedding, she discovers the man who vowed to love her forever is seeing someone else! Great read!!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my kindle! I definitely recommend reading this one! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

I am in total awe. I didn't see alot of the twist coming but man I was surprised. I could see where Paxton wanted to have some time to his own. But man the way he did it I was shocked. For me this was a good book.

After a super slow start, this book ramps up to be a satisfying read which makes you question who to believe. I encourage readers to persevere. What seems like a fairly pedestrian cheating spouse trope becomes something much darker and twistier, with even more layers than originally appear.

Loved how fast paced this one was!! The twist at part 2 I never saw any of that coming!! Part one was a slow but I could tell we were building up to something good!! Thank you so much for the opportunity at reading this one!!

Miranda Gilcrest, devastated by her husband's infidelity with a younger woman, refuses to blame him and instead directs her wrath towards the mistress. Determined to reclaim what was taken from her, Miranda devises a vengeful scheme.

The betrayed spouse is such a common trope, so I thought I knew how this book was going to go. I was very mistaken! This book went in a completely different direction than I expected. I really enjoyed this one, and the twist in Part II made my mouth drop open.

Told from mainly the perspective of Miranda and the mistress, Ivy, you get to know both women well. The characters are not particularly likable, but it makes for a very interesting story.

I look forward to reading more by Rowen Chambers!

Thank you NetGalley for an early copy of My Husband’s Mistress. I am not sure who the publisher is to thank but what a GREAT READ!!! It was sooooo fast moving and ridiculous which made it fun to read. The plot was a real good one and the ending had a FANTASTIC TWIST!! When I say ridiculous I mean that the conversations were not believable for real life but soooooo good to lose myself in this story. Part two showed everyone’s true colors and it was shocking to find out who they really were. I absolutely loved it. Thank you again.

Miranda finds out that her husband Paxton is cheating on her with a younger woman. She makes a plan to meet and befriend this young lady, Ivy, to find out what Paxton sees in her.

Miranda certainly is brilliant. And too trusting. This is a well plotted story, twisty and a page turner.
The ending was totally unexpected.
Like I said. Miranda is brilliant.

Don't mind me I'm just trying to pick my head back up those twists and turns were wild. Part 2 was most certainly the better part of the book but keep going because part two is chef's kiss
