What a great continuation of this series! I love that the spice factor is increasing with each book. It is so nice to see the world interacting with itself and speaks to the author's world building.

This is a wonderful fated mates romance with just the right amount of spice and plot. It can stand alone but the other 2 books will help you see the full backstory and make you appreciate the character growth much more!

Feedback also left on Goodreads and Amazon. I'm currently on a hiatus from social media, but should I go back I will be discussing this book on Instagram and tiktok as well.

**I received an e-ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review**

This continues the Enchanted Fates Series and is book 3. It takes place during the 3 months from the epilogue of book 2 (dirty lying dragons).

This can be read as a standalone however I highly suggest reading this series in order to get the full understanding of the story.

I gave this book 3 stars because as much as I love these worlds, the over arching plot and the characters, I am just not a wolf-shifter romance lover. That is on me, definitely NOT on the Author.

I really hope there are more things to come from this author in this series because I want to explore more of this world, the creatures and I want to revisit the fae in the first book!

Thank you NetGalley and Sabrina Blackburry for the ARC of Dirty Lying Wolves!! I’m so happy to get the latest book in this series!! It was just as good as the previous stories!! I cannot wait for more to look forward to!!

I enjoyed this book even though i hadn't read any of the other books in the series. I sort of don't understand the underlying world conflict but it didn't seem to matter much other than as an explanation for how the wolves end up in Seattle and meeting our MFC. I enjoyed the wolf education of the MFC and the slow-ish burn romance. I will definitely look for more from this author.

Okay, so I’m not sure how many supernatural beasties our author is going to attempt to tackle with this series, but I am totally in for the ride!

I picked up the first book because the title tickled me. And I’ve kept reading because these are so good!

Expect adventure, humor, and some very smoldering heroes.

Great for fans of Patricia Briggs or Anne Bishop, though Blackburry does have a style all her own.

Love these books and can’t wait for another one!

June's life is moved across the continent from Seattle to New Foundland, when she goes to administer first aid to a crying woman and is bitten for her trouble. Now, June is waiting to see if she'll turn into a werewolf and wondering what's wrong with her new pack...

Why I started this book: Needed a more summer beach read in my life... and I had a new paranormal romance author to try because of Netgalley.

Why I finished it: This book is mid-series, and I was able to pick it up easily... but Blackburry was working to move the romance forward and the series arc and I was only interest in one of them. In fact, I felt that there was way too much going on in this book. Blackburry spent more time, telling than showing, just so that she could keep up with all her plot points.

In the latest installment of Sabrina Blackburry’s enthralling paranormal series, Dirty Lying Wolves (DLW), readers are treated to a richly woven tale that builds on the strengths of its predecessors while delivering fresh and compelling narrative twists.

DLW marks a significant improvement over its predecessor, Dirty Lying Faeries (DLF), which, while intriguing, suffered from a slower pace and a gradual start. Where DLF took its time to build momentum, DLW hits the ground running with a pace that keeps the plot consistently engaging. However, it didn’t quite captivate me with the same intensity as Dirty Lying Dragons (DLD), which remains a standout at 4.5 stars. Still, DLW holds its own with a solid 4-star rating, making it a satisfying continuation of the series.

One of the book’s standout features is its masterful development of various paranormal characters. Each character, from the wolves to the faeries, possesses unique traits, cultures, and magical abilities that not only enrich the individual story but also create a vivid and immersive world. This attention to detail adds layers of depth to the narrative and helps differentiate each book in the series.

The pacing of DLW is particularly praiseworthy. The author skillfully ensures that the plot progresses with consistent forward momentum. New pieces of the puzzle are revealed with perfect timing, peeling back the layers of the story gradually. Unlike some novels where key revelations are saved for the final chapters, DLW keeps readers guessing until the very end, culminating in a conclusion that feels both satisfying and well-earned.

Character development is another highlight of DLW. The evolution of June and Dom is portrayed with nuance and care, showcasing their growth and adaptability in the face of new challenges. Their journey is relatable and well-crafted, and their roles as "care-givers" are explored in a way that deepens their characters and the story’s emotional impact.

The supporting characters also shine in this installment. Carmine and Jarod, the latter of whom returns with his signature arrogance and wit, add significant charm and humor to the narrative. Smokey, who may take some time to grow on readers, eventually becomes a delightful and amusing presence. Their interactions and personalities provide an added layer of enjoyment that enhances the overall reading experience.
The author also deserves accolades for crafting the hottest PG-13 interaction. I will say no more, prepare to discover that golden nugget on your own. Not to say this book is PG-13. There are plenty of other steamy scenes not for the faint of heart. The subtlety and skill with which these moments are handled demonstrate a refined approach to romance and intimacy.

Overall, Dirty Lying Wolves is a captivating read that builds on the series' established strengths while offering fresh and engaging developments. Kudos to the author, and many thanks to Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group and NetGalley for providing the opportunity to read this ARC. Fans of the series and newcomers alike will find much to appreciate in this well-crafted and enjoyable addition.

This was a great addition to the series! It may be my favorite so far. I love the way they portrayed the wolves!

I absolutely love this series. While each can stand alone they fit nicely together.
June certainly wasn’t expecting her life to take the turn that it did when she was out walking one morning. Her entire life changed in the blink of an eye, or the bite of a mouth. Forced into a world she never knew existed, she arrives at a new place and tries to acclimate herself all while sparks fly between her and the MMC.
There is quite a bit of action and pack politics and a slow burn into their romance.
Absolutely loved the story and the characters.

June is a human just like the rest of us. She has her flaws and knows how to get through life coming out on top.
Until she she doesn’t. Trying to come to the aid of a stanger while out on a morning walk, is the decision that changes the rest of her life. And she’s not sure if it’s for good or not!
Following her story is incredible. You get to see the characters from the end of the last book in this series. Which for me is great. I love Jarod, and I am so happy that we get to see so much of him in this story. And honestly once you read this one, I think you will love him too!
This book has great character growth, and world building. It’s a shifter romance, fated mates, small amounts of magic. Forced proximity. It’s just great.

Dirty Lying Wolves
Sabrina Blackburry
Juniper Gunn had her life laid out. She was training to be a physical therapist. Each morning she would walk. When she thought she heard a woman being assaulted, without thought to her own safety Juniper pulled out her cell phone and pepper spray. She tried to help the woman writhing on the ground when the woman bit her and kicked her in the head. The woman, Amelia, was a werewolf, the men with her including Dom, were werewolves. Juniper didn’t believe in werewolves, dragons, fae, or warlocks. Dom knew they couldn’t leave Juniper there on her own, she would be going through her first shift during the next full moon. He assured her they would take care of her until she transforms. They take her to Moonpeak where they grew up. Amelia and Jerod the sorcery was ill. The alpha begrudgingly gave them permission to stay. Something didn’t feel right with the pack. Strange rogues began attacking. There was danger here.
This tale is told from two points of view, June’s and Dom’s. This is a romance, shifter, fantasy. This is the third book in the Enchanted Fates trilogy, each stands well alone. Dom and June are the main characters. They had a slow burn romance at first; it got hotter later in the book. I like both Dom and June. There are several secondary characters that are likable and well fleshed out, Smokey, Tanner, Amelia, Aaron, Jack, Naomi, and several others. This is an action-packed book; there is a lot of violence. This is a fun read.
Thank you NetGalley for providing a copy for review.

I read the first book in this series back in 2022 when it first came out, and since I enjoyed it and gave it a favorable review, I was sent a copy of this book by the publisher to read and review.

This book was a fun and enjoyable read. Was it the best written? No. But that doesn't take away from the fun of it. I may have to go back and read the 2nd book since I never read that one and it will fill in some information about characters and events in this one.

I am an absolute SUCKER for paranormal romance books, especially when they involve shifters, and this book was no exception. Our FMC June is thrust into the paranormal in a rescue attempt gone wrong and taken on a literal journey of change as she’s been bitten by a magic-induced feral werewolf.

Fated mates for June and a certain alpha-level shifter, return to a pack slowly being corrupted by its current ruler, and plot for revolution to save said pack, all of that abound in this story and I cannot wait to go back a read where some cameo characters came from and the paths Dom and the others journey before their chance encounter with June.

I absolutely loved this book, just as much as the first two. I bought the first book when it came out and finally read it about two months ago, immediately ordered the second on Ebook because I couldn’t wait. And then I googled to see when this book was coming out and needed to get this ARC. I love that the books are all connected and that we are characters from previous ones, but I love learning about the newer characters as well. It doesn’t feel like I’m missing out on the old characters because I don’t see them every page. Loving the shift to werewolves just as much as from fairies to dragons. There’s a little bit of everything in this series, you can’t go wrong.

I liked the characters, including supporting characters. One of my favorites just might be Smokey!
I liked the fast paced readability of this book and will likely recommend to those who like a solid paranormal romance

Juniper tries to help an injured woman and gets bitten. Next thing she knows, she's being taken to Canada to live with a werewolf pack to see if she changes. But something strange is happening within the pack and June is caught in the middle.

I found this book a little hard to follow because I have not read the first too books in the series. There were a lot of characters to keep track of. The world building was interesting and I really liked June and Dom.

Full disclosure, I didn’t realize this book was part of a series when I started reading it. Once I went back to look at the description on NetGalley I remembered I bought the first two books in the series, saw this on was available, requested it, and promptly got distracted. Such is the life of a SERIOUS mood reader.

All that being said, while I definitely think that reading the first two books would be beneficial, but not necessary, for you to enjoy this book. I’m a sucker for a paranormal romance, especially one with werewolves, so I was very excited to read this. The book kept me intrigued from start to finish, and I really enjoyed the storyline.

My only complaints with the book would be that it felt like towards the end of the book, everyone and their mom were finding their mates - which, good for them, but it felt like that Oprah meme, “You get a car, and you get a car, and you get a car!” My second complaint was that it felt like the romance between Dom and June could’ve been a bit more fleshed out, but I still really enjoyed it.

All in all, I gave this book 4.5* (rounded up to 5 because…Goodreads). I would absolutely recommend this book (if you like paranormal romances), and I’m going to go back and read the first 2 books in the series (as well as any other books that come after this one).

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read this ARC, and the author for writing it. All opinions offered are my own.

Yes, I’m back with another review of a book in this very fun fantasy romance series of loosely linked books. They can be read as standalones, but characters from previous books tend to show up and it’s a little more fun if you have the context.

Dirty Lying Wolves starts off with quite the bang. Our main character Juniper (June for short) is out for a walk and stumbles across a group of men that seem to be threatening a naked woman, so she jumps in and tries to help. She’s going to pepper spray them and the woman partially shifts into a wolf and bites her! Until this point, June had no idea there were supernatural beings like werewolves and now she’s stuck with this group of strangers because she’s going to become a werewolf herself. Talk about your life changing in an instant!

The most unrealistic part about this entire book is how chill June is about the whole situation. She has bills to pay, a concerned roommate, and plans to become a physical therapist that are suddenly irrelevant because she’s going to a remote village in Canada to live and learn with a werewolf pack. Oh, and her companions are rogues who are coming home with their tails tucked between their legs. Or so it seems - they’re actually planning to take their pack back from the wolf who killed their parents a decade ago.

This book was loads of fun and provided some extremely amusing imagery. I mean, werewolves shift and in this world at least, clothes don’t shift too so there’s lots of casual nudity. Not just the young folks, but the old ones too. I was delighted that June and her love interest Dominic were well developed, though they both have quite the savior complex. The pack politics was interesting and I liked that the book focuses so much on June getting oriented within this whole new society.

Overall, this wasn’t my favorite installment in the series because I didn’t enjoy the plot quite as much as the first and second books. I did really like Juniper and Dom, so that did balance things out a bit. If you’re in the market for a fun, light read or you’re a huge fan of werewolf romance, I’d definitely recommend Dirty Lying Wolves.

“Wolves.
It was impossible to absorb.
And if what Dom said was right, I was going to be one of them.”

“My wolves. My pack. More than the rest of Moonpeak, they were my family.”

I really enjoyed this book. To be fair, it does seem like a common situation when it comes to this series and these characters. From fae to dragons to werewolves, I lived through all of them and I honestly constantly find myself wanting more!!! This one especially was funny, lighthearted and entertaining as well as occasionally spicy (very very enjoyable scenes to be honest) and romantic. It was enough action packed to never let me leave for too long. And there’s something about werewolves mates that I simply can’t resist, it seems. Dom and Juniper had the enemies to lovers kinda dynamic that is effectively coming out of him kidnapping her for a certain reason and her despising him for it. But then it all ends well … fireworks exploding well. This book ticked all the right boxes for a fantasy romance, at least for me and I can’t wait for the possibility to read more!!!

“I reached up to cup his face with my hands, planting a light kiss on his lips. "Leaving you is no longer a choice my heart can make."”

I really really enjoyed this book. I was so invested in June's first shift and transitioning into her new life as a werewolf. I thought her first shift was done gorgeously. I absolutely loved all the matches that happened in this book!

Thank you NetGalley and Wattpad for the opportunity to read this eARC.
