I have finally found the time to read this one and although it is a feel good book, I would nothing really special about it.
Trey has been duped into coming home by his family believing that his Nonna is ill only to find they want him home to attend the Winter Gala as his Nonna's date.
The same day he meets Sara who accidentally knocks into the car that he has borrowed from a friend and he sees something in her that he wants.
Both recognise a similar experience in each other and support each other while helping themselves to grow as people and open up about things they have not done in the past.
There is a good supportive cast and the book can certainly be read as a stand alone.
