My son loved this book. He loves learning about all the letters and this is a great book to continue learning about what he is learning in school

After reading all of the letter books by Kimberlee Gard in quick succession, this one made the least sense. As a cute alphabet book, it was alright - each letter found a circular object starting with their letter - but as a literacy concept, i losing his dot didn't make much sense. And the last page was confusing too lol.

An adorable addition to any personal or school library to help children with rhyme, letter recognition, and letter-sound correspondence. Colorful, engaging pictures round out this little gem to make reading even more fun as you hunt for clues to solve the mustering of the missing dot. Can your eyes spot the answer?!

This is such a cute story. The story and illustrations are playful and bright. It makes learning about letters fun and I love reading this book (plus the others in this series) to my emergent reader. I love pairing a story book with what we are learning and this book is great for that.

This is the very cute story of Little i, who gets to school and realises he doesn’t have his dot. His friends, all of the other letters of the alphabet, volunteer different things to replace it: a wheel, a yo-yo, an oyster shell, an egg, a pretzel… But nothing is quite right. Happily Little i’s story has a happy ending.

Adorable illustrations, and a very fun way for littlies to learn the alphabet. Thanks to NetGalley and to Familius for access to a DRC.

This book is so cute and perfect for the classroom or home setting. The story follows “little i” as his friends help him find his dot. Loved the play in the lower case letters “growing up” and the illustrations.

The books this author write in this series are quickly becoming must haves for any primary grade classroom. This one is no exception, though it's really geared toward the lower primary-kindergarten. The illustrations are colorful and fun, and kids loving learning about our language and alphabet. Highly recommend teachers and parents check this one out, as well as the others by this author!

These should be given to every parent of a preschool graduate to work on during the summer before kindergarten. This was incredible and so well done! I taught preschool for many years and it was just so cute!

'The Little i Who Lost His Dot' is a whimsical children's book that tells the story of the lowercase letter "i" who comes to Alphabet School on the last day without his dot. Some of his lowercase classmates gasp, point, and stare when he arrives at school. It is only then that little "i" realizes his dot is missing. A substitute dot is offered by his friends in order to help. A gumball is offered by a lowercase "g" and a zero is zoomed over by a lowercase "z". How do you think things will turn out? Will lowercase "i" be able to find his dot?

This is a cute little story too remind kids to dot their i's (at least that's how I interpreted it). Little i lost his dot one day and all the letters help it find objects to replace it. But nothing feels right. Little i needs his own dot!

My kid enjoyed the book very much. It also serves as an alphabet book, since every letter brings Little I am object that starts with their letter.

The illustrations are very cute, with bright colors and the length is perfect to read aloud.

Great first book in this series! Wonderful introduction or re-introduction to the letter I. Now I need to read the rest of the series and get them for my classroom library!

The Little I Who Lost His Dot is an adorable and fun story for children learning their letters.

The imaginative ways little i’s friends helped him out were quirky and funny, and a great way to practice the alphabet. The messages about looking after your friends, and growing up were simple, sweet, and accessible.

The illustrations were fun, energetic, and bright, and a great way to support the text for pre readers.

Thank you Familius and NetGalley for a copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.

This was a sweet story to read with my young son. I loved the colorful illustrations. The text was fun and engaging, while also being educational. My son especially enjoyed the ending. He’s very close with his dad. So he liked that little i was like capital I. This would be a great book for a classroom!
