Loved this book! I am slowly becoming an Erin Sterling fan with each new book she puts out. Fun, magical, and a quick read.
This book was so cute and cozy and mysterious and spooky in all the best witchy, Christmasy ways. It was the perfect sequel to its predecessors. Erin Sterling gets it right every time. I did find the plot of this one ti be the most interesting of the three so far and loved how dynamic our leading lady was. We love a savvy, bad**s business woman! The Wedding Witch was lighthearted and a quick and easy read, but with enough tensiom and drama to make it worthy if binging.
I really did try and get into this one. And the writing is so dang good and clever and witty. I think I need to switch to audio though! So I’m going to go for audio and give an updated review after!! In the meantime I’ll give five stars :)
Whimsical and witchy christmas romance. I adore the main characters being over 30. The story is pretty unique and it felt magical for the season. Although I did find certain parts a bit too silly or repetitive, I still enjoyed it just like I enjoyed the first two books of the series. Also, Taran's appearance was so cute.
This was a fun little magical romance for the holidays. While not as robust of a book as Ex Hex, I did love the time travel aspect and thought the characters were intriguing. I was rooting for them as a couple but also intrigued with what was going to happen to them next. All around, a fun holiday read!
Bowen Penhallow, brother of Rhys and Wells, who we met in the first two books of the “Graves Glen” series, is the most reclusive Penhallow witch, living in the Welsh wild and collecting magical relics in hopes of undoing the fate of his ghostly friend, Colin. When Bowen hires Tamsyn Bligh to help him acquire his artifacts, he has no way of knowing that in less than a year, they’ll be accidently attending the wedding of Colin’s former fiancee, where a spell mishap sends Tamsyn and him back to 1958. As they work together to return to the present, they uncover dark secrets about the world around them, as well as their own desires.
I picked up this one in October, hoping for a cute, (not too) spooky season read, and ended up with a Christmas time travel plot. I was rooting for Bowen and Tamsyn from the moment they toasted their business arrangement with garish holiday cocktails, and the parallels between their relationship and that of Bowen’s grandparents was fun. Bowen and Tamsyn primarily interacted with one another, so it was difficult to really get an overall read on their individual characters, but overall, a sweet conclusion to the series.
Well, I liked Bowen! I have enjoyed this series up until this point. "The Wedding Witch" felt like it was written without a plan and the author just gave up towards the end.
I didn't get a sense of character for Tamsyn at all. She had minimal background and I didn't understand her motivations. Bowen had more personality, but I didn't feel any chemistry between him and Tamsyn. It simply seemed like she was the ONLY person he had contact with.
The storyline is good, with a bit of mystery, but the ending is disappointingly weak. All major conflicts and mysteries are resolved with "magic" - no further justification or explanation is provided.
"The Wedding Witch" is the third in a series, and while not completely dependent, I wouldn't recommend it as a standalone.
Thank you to NetGalley & the publisher for providing an eARC for review.
Thank you Avon and Harper Voyager for my copy! All thoughts are my own.
I have found such joy in the pages of this series by Erin Sterling and I was very excited to see the Penhallow bunch take on Winter and Christmas. I really liked how this story traveled through time and created high stakes for the plot and romance. It was an enjoyable and quick read!
Synopsis:
“Bowen Penhallow has always been a loner, studying dark and ancient magic on a mountaintop in Wales. He prefers it that way. But when his friend Colin—who happens to be a ghost—asks him to attend a Yuletide wedding at a grand estate deep in the Welsh countryside, Bowen reluctantly agrees.
Tamsyn Bligh is not a witch, but she makes her living off of them. As a procurer and seller of magical items, Tamsyn’s business is not always above board, but she’s been trying to fix that (mostly.) Bowen is an occasional customer—as well as the star of several of Tamsyn’s dirtiest dreams—but she’s been around enough witches to know that, as a human, getting involved with one is not the smartest idea. She’s finagled an invite to the Witchy Wedding of the Century in the hopes of finally making a score big enough to retire. Just one priceless magical artifact from Tywyll House would set her up for life.
But Tamsyn isn’t the only one sneaking about in Tywyll House, and the mix of a very strong spell combined with a wedding mishap transports Bowen and Tamsyn into Tywyll House’s past, to the Yuletide Celebration of 1958. As Bowen and Tamsyn work together to get back to the present, they must also face off with the origins of Tywyll House’s haunting, the suspicions of their fellow witches…oh, and the fact that somewhere between the mistletoe and the bonfire, they might be falling in love. “ —NetGalley
What I Liked:
The Magic—While I am not a Halloween person, I do love a witchy book and falling Into the magic of the world.
The Pacing—This was the perfect length and kept me interested for hours as I did chores!
What Didn’t Work:
Some of the Writing—I think this was enhanced by my disinterest In the audiobook, but it was a little unbelievable at points.
The Audio Performance—Read this one with your eyes. It felt a little forced to me.
Character Authenticity: 3/5 Spice Rating: 2/5 Overall Rating: 3.5/5

Erin Sterling is an automatic buy/read for me. I just can’t get enough of Graves Glen. This book was perfect to get me in the holiday spirit. I loved following Bowen’s story and all the magic within. I will for sure be recommending and really really hope and pray she comes out with more books in this series. Thank you for the opportunity to read!
this was a delightful magical paranormal witchy romance novel perfect for the holiday season. I am not normally a fluffy lighthearted romance reader otherwise I would have read this higher
3.5 stars
Another darling trip to graves glen and this time with our broodiest (and definitely sexiest) penhallow brother. Erin sterling is an auto-buy author for me, so I went into this book blind and was absolutely delighted by the new setting, new magic, and new(ish) cast.
The vibes are a tiny bit different than what we’re used to in graves glen, but with all the charm and spice that an Erin sterling novel promises.
I love this adorable series and was excited to see a more wintery themed book this time. The writing is fun and while it’s not deep it is entertaining.
This book was a wild ride from start to finish in the best way.
I adore The Ex Hex and The KISS Curse and I was worried I wouldn’t like this one as much since it doesn’t take place in Grave’s Glen. But a friend told me that the plot was so crazy I wouldn’t notice and she was absolutely right. Plus, they visit Grave’s Glen and that little cameo was enough!
Read this if you like: Magical artifacts, ghosts, a haunted house, time travel, a toe curling bathtub scene
Thank you NetGalley and HarpersCollins for an eARC!
The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling is a delightful blend of romance, magic, and mystery, perfect for fans of whimsical fiction: quirky characters and heartwarming moments.
thank you to netgalley for providing me with an arc!
this was a very short and sweet Christmas time traveling romcom! Like the previous two books I thought it was a very enjoyable plot and I liked seeing the return of all the previous characters. I don't think it would be my favorite of the series as towards the end I was waiting for it to be done, I believe the plot dragged on a bit too long in terms of the romance will they won't they. The more I read (obviously I knew the characters would end up together) but I feel like they didn't really know each other that well to be saying "I love you." I know they worked together, but it wasn't like they were constantly in each others company to be falling for each other that quickly over work calls and texts. Again, I know it's a romcom but even that felt like we were really going beyond the reality of a romance novel. Overall it was an enjoyable romcom that takes place during Christmas.
The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling was the next book in this series, featuring Bowen and Tamson. This was a cute witchy read with cute twists and turns along the way! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance reader copy of this title in exchange for my honest review.
I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first two in the series! I really liked how this story had more of a Christmas setting, it helped to switch it up a bit from the typical Witch-Halloween feel.
I really enjoyed this book! Loved Tamsyn & Bowens enemy to lover relationship and hearing their story!
Read This Book If…you would travel back in time to meet your ancestors!

The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
Genre: paranormal holiday romance
Series: Graves Glen # 3
Spice Level: 3/5🌶, 1-2 explicit scenes
Setting: Wales & small, magical town in Georgia
POV: dual, 3rd person, past tense
Tropes: boss/employee, one bed, time travel, insta love
My Thoughts:
The third and final brother gets his happily ever after! While we hardly spend any time in Graves Glen, I still really enjoyed this book!
We’ve got a little haunting, a little time travel, and a touch of espionage. I found the plot to be really intriguing, but the insta-love relationship didn’t quite do it for me.
Memorable Quote: “From the moment you walked into that pub, I knew you’d be the making and the ruin of me all at once, woman.”
Thank you to the publisher for my advance copy!
I love this series and the third installment is probably my favorite. Tamsyn and Bowen are a sexy, vibrant couple that I fell in love with. I loved the time travel aspect and how the couple had to work together to figure their way out.
