I loved the first two books in the series, and I loved this book too. Even though as part of a series, it can be right as a standalone. I would not recommend it though, because the whole series is so good! I love that each sister has her own story, and that they all make appearances in each book. I think Book three is my favorite!

This was a cute follow up and a fun time traveling event which was very cute but it fell a little flat for me overall. But I have loved this series as a whole.

I really enjoyed this book! It was a perfect follow-up to the first two in the series. Christmas AND magic?? Can’t be beat. Very fun read!

I'm so sad.. I was pretty underwhelmed by this one. It's the third story of the Graves Glen series, and my least favorite of the three. I think this one just wasn't my cup of tea though, it won't dissuade me from picking up Sterling's next book!

Thank you to NetGalley, Avon, Harper Voyager, and Erin Sterling for this ARC of The Wedding Witch which came out on October 8, 2024!

This is number three in the Ex Hex series and by far the spiciest! It has the same witchy tone as the others and was a fun book overall. I find it easiest to compare to Sabrina the Teenage Witch in a book. Although you can read this stand alone, I would recommend reading the other two prior to this one as a lot of the characters overlap. It's also a little different because it takes place in the Winter versus the Fall like the other two.

⭐️Overall Rating: 3 stars

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC.

Another fantastic novel in the series! I loved the time travel and the chemistry between Bowen and Tamsyn. I wish I would have had the audio version but only because I listened to the first two. I hope she writes another witchy romantasy series because this was was perfect.

Tamsyn Bligh isn't a witch but she knows all about them. That is how she makes her living. She finds magical items and is now employed by Bowen Penhallow. She is sent on a once in a lifetime pay out that she can retire on. Tamsyn finds herself at a wedding at the Tywyll House the rare item. Bowen is also at the wedding trying to correct the past because his best friend, Declan is a ghost from a spell gone wrong and he is hoping to fix it. Bowen and Tamsyn goes to the wedding that leads them on an adventure to the past and ends up at a different witchy wedding in 1957. They must work together to get back to the present.

This was a really great book to pregame the holiday season! The humour was fun, the tropes were definitely trope-ing, but I also feel like the protagonists were sort of just being dragged through the plot? Don't be confused-- I had a ton of fun. I just feel like the protagonists were too caught up in their romance and so the secondary characters ended up carrying the momentum of the story. Almost like if someone were to lay facedown on the ground and have their foot pulled by someone else, so they still refuse to stand and because they refuse they feel every pebble and leaf passing under their body, complain about it, but then celebrate once they're left alone?
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Avon for this eARC.

I adore this series. This one is a cute n fluffy Christmas addition, perfect for a November TBR.

I don't know if this one was necessarily my favorite in the series. I loved the time travel aspect of it and the ghostly aspect of it. I didn't really buy in to Bowen and Tamsyn's chemistry, but they were cute enough. I also wish the whole side plot with Colin was resolved in a more satisfactory way.

But honestly this is such a comfort series, and I will keep reading as many books in this series as she is willing to give me (which I hope is more!)

firstly, thank you to the publisher for an arc!

3.5 — who doesn’t love a holiday romcom that has a swoony, grumpy mmc (that’s also the witch!!), with a time traveling plot?

this was a fun and sexy read 🤭

I was so excited for the third book in this series, and it did not disappoint! I’ve been following Bowen’s story, and seeing him in a holiday setting was such a fun surprise. The Christmas and Winter Solstice elements added a nice change of pace without losing that mysterious vibe I love.

The chemistry between Bowen and Tamsyn was spot on, and the time-travel twist back to the 1950s Yuletide celebration kept me hooked. The “witchy wedding gone wrong” setup was clever and brought out so many great moments between the characters. This book had everything I hoped for—romance, a bit of mystery, and that holiday spirit. Fans of the series will love it!

The Ex Hex series feels like a warm Halloween autumn hug while reading in the best way. This book made me feel all the feels. I felt like it was the perfect addition to the The Ex Hex books and that it was done very nicely with a pretty bow on top. Thank you for an arc copy of this book to read and review before published in exchange for an honest review. Reviews have been posted on goodreads and amazon.

There was a lot to enjoy here. I only with that we had gotten to see more of their banter as they fell in love. Instead, there is a time jump where we are given a small taste of their banter and then they realize that they are in love.

The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling was a light-hearted read, perfect for a cozy weekend on the couch. This was my first book by Erin Sterling, and even though it’s clearly part of a series, I was able to completely enjoy the story as a standalone. I felt like Bowen and Tamsyn were perfectly paired for the accidental time travel adventure. He was a bearded grumpy-sunshine witch, and she a spunky mortal female for balance. For me, the entire story could have been carried by Tamsyn’s humor.

My favorite Tamsyn quotes:
“You are a Bad B!tch,” she reminded herself, even as she sank a little deeper into the water. “You’re not gonna say the I ain’t afraid of no ghosts thing, but you’re going to think it. Except you just said it because you’re talking to yourself again, which is definitely a sign that you are not feeling your Baddest and B!tchiest.”

“It’s my fault for taking a stupid job just because I wanted enough money not to work for you anymore. And I only wanted not to work for you anymore so I didn’t feel guilty about doing all the s3x to you, which I’ve now done anyway. So seriously, this is all on me, and also my v@gina.”

The Wedding Witch is an easy-going romance.
I would have enjoyed a little more conflict, but still loved this store. I kept waiting for someone to betray them. A quick sabotage plot to try to trap them in the past, but maybe I’m just accustomed to the darker sides of romance stories. Overall, this was a funny and entertaining read that I would recommend to friends and fans of witchy romance.

It was fun, cozy read as I love paranormal or witch themed books, it took me a bit to get into the story and the pace wasn’t the greatest either, overall it ended up being enjoyable.

This started a little slow for me and I nearly didn't return to finish it after the first couple of chapters.

But, it picks up quickly and the extra characters make the story come alive from Lady Meredith/Annie, Emerald, and Bowen's bickering grandparents. And, Bowen, for all his gruff is the sweetest Penhallow brother when he opens up to Tamsyn. Especially once we learn why he has kept to himself all these years. It was really enjoyable with a cozy touch of Yuletide holiday festiveness.

Another installment in the Graves Glen series, The Wedding Witch follows the final Penhallow brother, Bowen. He hires Tamsyn, a non-witch, to be his personal procurer of magical items, and he falls in love with her. Well, they fall in love with each other :D

Unfortunately, I found roughly the first half of this book to be slow and rather boring, but I started to get more into the story when they traveled back in time. The resolution to their problem did seem a little rushed. I also wasn't in love with either Bowen or Tamsyn, and their relationship felt a little too insta-love, which isn't something that I love in a story. I think if you read The Ex-Hex and/or The Kiss Curse and liked them, you'll also enjoy this one.

“From the moment you walked into that pub,” he said, “I knew you’d be the making and the ruin of me all at once, woman.”

Another fun, cozy installment in the Graves Glen series! The Wedding Witch follows our final Penhallow brother, Bowen. He hires Tamsyn, a non-witch, to be his personal procurer of magical items, and it doesn’t hurt that she’s insanely hot and they have great chemistry! Bowen and Tamsyn find themselves in a bit of a sticky situation when a procurement mission falls a bit off track…

I loved the first two books in this series, so immediately knew I had to read this one as well. While this is still light-hearted, I did find this one to be a bit higher stakes, which was exciting. *As a disclaimer, I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump and started this when I was pretty tired, so that could certainly be affecting my rating.* I didn’t like this one quite as much as the first two in the series. I found the beginning / first half to be a little slow and boring. I was feeling a little confused with all the characters being introduced and keeping track of their names. I also didn’t love the chemistry between the characters in the beginning; the banter was great and I like Tamsyn and Bowen as individual characters, but together they felt very rushed and lacking. I didn’t find myself rooting for them until much later on in the book. The conclusion was satisfying to me (but only if you don’t think too much about it). I have a lot of questions still because I don’t think each of the storylines were wrapped up or explained super clearly.

That said, the story picked up for me a lot in the second half! There is lots of action and adventure, and the characters’ chemistry picked up for me as well. I enjoyed that this one has a different feel and storyline than the first two books in the series. (I thought Ex Hex and Kiss Curse were extremely similar). I loved all of the magical elements in this one and especially the time traveling.

I thought the pacing was a little off and insta-love is just not my jam, but overall I thought this was a fun addition to the series and I’m happy I read it! A great cozy fall/winter read.

Thank you to Netgalley, Erin Sterling, and Avon and Harper Voyager for providing this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

This was such a fun book to read and ended up reading half of the book in one sitting! I was in the mood for something witchy to get into spooky season and this did it for me. It wasn’t too scary and was cute and sweet even with the ghosts (think Harry Potter friendly ghosts). The characters immediately draw you in and I was invested with Tamsyn and Bowen’s story. Their chemistry is electric and I loved their banter. I didn’t realize that there were other books in the series already so I will definitely have to backtrack and read those since this was so enjoyable!

I really liked the beginning of this book, but towards the end I was starting to feel like there were a lot of plot points that were just loose.

I felt like Bowen and Tamsyn’s relationship progressed very well. As a romance book it did exactly what it needed to do. I loved the time travel element. I felt like the concept of going back in term to prevent his grandparents from breaking up for good was the right move. But post that with Declan I felt like I started to feel like we lost some plot here.

I do feel like overall the story flowed well for about 75-80% of the book. And the setting in Wales was a nice change from the other two books. But I would have liked to send some more time in Graves Glen.
