THIS HAS BECOME A FAVORITE SERIES!! Oh my worddd, the way these books keep getting better and better!! I enjoyed The Ex Hex, ADORED The Kiss Curse, and truly loved The Wedding Witch! 🌙

I was so excited to get to know reclusive Bowen Penhallow more. Loved him! Gruff, bearded, scholarly, and a loner, he needed someone fun to spice things up a bit, and Tamsyn was just the gal for the job. Their banter was hilarious. Chemistry off the charts. LOVED that we got to check in with the rest of the fam back in Graves Glen. LOVED the Yule time setting. I wasn’t sold on the time travel part but it ended up being so fun. 🤩

I rated four stars instead of five because I did think the time travel section got a little confusing. However, I’m an Erin Sterling super fan and hopes she writes more! A million thanks to Avon Books and NetGalley for the e-arc!

I really enjoyed both main characters. I kind of wish it had been set in Graves Glen but it was fine. Not too Christmasy that it can't be read at other times of year.

I did not realize this was part of a series and feel I may be at a disadvantage with character history. Regardless of this fact, I enjoyed this cozy, witchy book. The banter was exceptional between Bowen & Tamsyn. It definitely kept me entertained and wanting to continue to story. There were more than one laugh out loud moments throughout the story. Overall would recommend to someone looking for witchy vibes with a little spice.

I enjoyed the two previous titles in this series, but this one fell flat for me. There was not enough character development, and I never really connected with either the male or female main characters. There were some steamy scenes that I enjoyed, and I liked the magical element. But even the plot was sort of convoluted and underwhelming. Also there was a lot about Bowen that was sort of a turn off, and not a lot that made him attractive to me. But maybe that’s just me. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the e-arc.

Thank you SO much to the author and NetGalley for this arc!

I read the first two books in this series and loved them, they gave the best witchy energy that I needed for the upcoming fall season. This third book in the series also did not disappoint! I was cautiously optimistic going into it since Bowen and Tamsyn have a different atmosphere than the other couples in this series; I was interested to see if the story would feel completely seperate and not flow with the earlier stories as being the third installment of the books. I loved the banter between Bowen and Tamsyn and I loved the build up to the romance! This series fueled my need for witchy and spooky energy this fall.

This was the last book in this series but the first for me! My rating may change after reading the other 2, but we shall see.

The Wedding Witch was such a cute, cozy read - perfect for fall/the holidays. I love Bowen and Tamsyn but do think their relationship felt rushed at times. The time travel plot was fun, though I was left with more questions than resolutions.

A cute, fast read nonetheless!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

2.5 rounded up to 3. The final book in the trilogy this is my least favorite...it was ok. There is a lot in this book that doesn’t add to the story and some of the back and forth banter needs to cleaned up. It is an easy read if someone is looking for something light. The previous books had more of a Fall/Halloween theme, this one is closer to Christmas time.

I absolutely love this series. It was a cute fun and fast read for me. I knew that I would enjoy this book due to me loving the first 2 books in the series. this author can't do any wrong in my eyes. And I LOVEEEEEE the book cover!

I had so much fun with this entire series and this book couldn't be any different. I love this universe that Erin built and for me these books are *THE* must read fall books (although this one has more of a Christmas vibe). I loved the time travel aspect and felt like it just complemented what was already good. If you want a fun book with the perfect amount of magic, read this one. 🧡

🦇 The Wedding Witch Book Review 🦇

Rating: ⭐⭐

❓ #QOTD What's your favorite witchy read? ❓

🦇 Bowen Penhallow has always been a loner, studying dark and ancient magic on a mountaintop in Wales. Tamsyn Bligh is not a witch, but she makes her living off of them as a procurer of magical items. Bowen becomes her exclusive client—as well as the star of several of Tamsyn’s dirtiest dreams. They both attend a wedding at Tywyll House—Bowen to help a dearly departed friend, Tamsyn to complete a job that would set her up for life. Unfortunately, a strong spell combined with a wedding mishap transports Bowen and Tamsyn into Tywyll House’s past, to the Yuletide Celebration of 1958. Can Bowen and Tamsyn work together to get back to the present while fighting feelings for one another--before it's too late?

💜 Erin Sterling's prose is strong, witty, and enchanting. The chemistry between Tamsyn and Bowen is off-the-charts from the moment they meet in person, simmers through texts and emails, only to completely boil over once they meet again in person. This is a fun, flirty read, perfect for witchy season!

💙 Unfortunately, the story itself leaves much to be desired. As the third book in a series, the characters and world-building should be well-established. Instead, this reads like the writer was rushed to meet a deadline with only a half-baked idea. A lot of the chemistry builds off-page, leaving us with more of an insta-love story (no thank you). The mixed time travel/Parent Trap plot is messy, and most sources of conflict are resolved without explanation. There's so much potential here, but it doesn't quite meet the mark.

The Wedding Witch follows Bowen whose friend Declan is a ghost. Declan asked him to attend a wedding and he agrees. Tamsyn is not a witch but makes her living working for them. Bowen is an occasional customer and the person she has a crush on. She tells herself not to get involved with him. She gets an invite to the same wedding that Bowwen is attending. Something goes wrong and both Bowen and Tamsyn end up in 1957. They have to work together to get back to the present. They soon realize that they might like each other too.

I love this series so much. I was so excited when I got an ARC of this one. I really did enjoy this one. However, this was my least favorite in the series. I did not really seem to have the same vibes that the other two books had. But this was still super cute. I did get confused in some parts so I had to go back and reread those. But over all I thought this was a really cute book. Also, this book had more of a Christmas vibe than a Halloween vibe which I was not expecting. I feel like I was just expecting more with this book. But I did love the over all story. I love both Erin Sterling and Rachael Hawkins' books and I would suggest all of them.

Thank you Erin Sterling, Avon Books, and Netgalley for the ARC of this book.

The Wedding Witch follows Bowen Penhallow, this book set around the Yule holiday instead of Halloween, giving it a warm and festive backdrop. The novel is a delightful cozy romance, complete with a haunted house, time travel, and humor, that will charm readers from the start. While I missed seeing more of Vivienne and Gwen from the first two books, Bowen and Tamsyn quickly won me over with their humor, snark, and undeniable magical chemistry. The side characters were equally well-crafted, adding richness and depth to the story. Despite a few familiar faces being less present, this might just be my favorite book in the series.

Thank you Harper Collins for this ARC

3.75⭐️

This was so fun!

This was a great addition to this series. I loved the chemistry and banter between our two main characters. Their personalities together was lovely!

In the beginning I had a bad feeling that the storyline being setup was going to be very predictable…I was quite wrong. I did not see time travel coming.

Going back in time brought so many quirky and lovable characters into the story. I loved that Bowen was able to meet his grandparents and see their love in person.

The only issue I had was the ending felt a bit rushed. Because of this I felt confused when they got back to their own time. I’m wondering if I missed something? Wouldn’t Carys have known what happened to them since it must have happened to her to get Declan back? Couldn’t she have given them some insight when they returned? How did emerald request the brooch if she had been the ghost?

Again, maybe I missed something, but I was very confused.

Overall I thought this a good read, solid 3.75⭐️

The way a screeched with joy when I got approved for this book is probably slightly embarrassing however I’ve been dying for this one for so long I felt like I was appropriate. Erin Sterling did not disappoint with Bowen and Tamsyn’s story. Expanding upon Graves Glen universe of books this one follows Bowen and Tamsyn as they navigate working together (and being in loves with each other) while trying to procure of brooch worth $1 million dollar from a haunted house at Yule during a wedding. Some magical time travel is involved along with a fun adventure about getting to know how your past affects your future. Could not recommend this book more especially if enjoyed the first two books in this series.

I decided to read this book without ever reading the blurb so I was going in blind. I'm glad I did. What I thought would be another quirky witch mystery turned out to be so much more. Bowen is a witch who is on the lookout for a magical artifact that is strong enough to figure out the mystery of his best friends ghost. When he hires Tamsyn to procure magical items to help him in his search sparks fly. I love their relationship in this book, they start out as friends but their relationship strengthens when they end up back in time when a spell goes wrong. I love how Bowen is the strong and silent type but when it comes to Tamsyn he is all in.

Many thanks to Avon and Harper Voyager | Avon and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel! To kick things off, I love this series! They are the perfect kickoff to spooky season with the witches and mystery and such. I thought that this one was an interesting concept compared to the others, and I found myself hoping for glimpses of the couples from the other books. Time travel, mystery and romance... what more could you ask for?!

Ugh. THIS BOOK. I just absolutely adore this series! I’m actually struggling to find the words for this book. I loved it so unbelievably much. This book was so stinkin cute and cozy, it just felt like a warm hug! The banter in this book was amazing. I seriously don’t have a single negative thing to say. This book is the ultimate witchy rom-com and I *think* this might be my favorite book in the series! But as I said before, I truly just adore this series so much. I’ve loved getting to know each Penhallow brother and following along on their love journeys! I never want this series to end. I’m hoping the boys end up having some distant cousin or maybe a long lost brother and we’ll continue to have these books forever. Now, where can I find myself a witchy Welsh man???????

This book was so much fun!!!! I think Tamsyn and Bowen are my FAVES!!! Tamsyn was so hilarious and sassy and I just loved their banter so much!!! This was such a fun story and it was too dang cute!!! I love this series and the lovely world it’s in!!!

4.5 stars for the third (and final?) installment of the Ex Hex series! This book follows the third Penhallow brother, Bowen, and the human who procures magical objects for him - Tamsyn. Bowen is a loner, studying magic from a remote mountain in Wales. Tamsyn is a human who specializes in acquiring magical objects for her clients, which is what brings her to Bowen. And so ensues a working relationship turned mutual crush, the witchy wedding weekend of Bowen’s ghost friend’s ex fiancée, time travel, and one bed shenanigans.

The way I SCREECHED when I got this ARC!! I’ve loved this series so much, and this book is no exception. The Kiss Curse is still my fave, but this was so much fun. I loved the banter between Tamsyn and Bowen and the different setting. I think this book not being set in Graves Glen let Tamsyn and Bowen’s story blossom. And I loved the witchy Christmas vibes! Also a switch up from the previous books that worked so well.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced digital copy to read and review!!

3.5⭐️ I love this series they’re just so comfy, short and cute. And I can say the first and this one are my favorites. In any moment I felt like losing interest and that was something I missed. Loved the dynamic between both mcs even if there were many loopholes and things left without explanations or putting more depth in them
