Very interesting writing style and tone. Thoroughly captivated by the stories and narrative. Will recommend.
Nobody Is Coming to Save You is an insightful, no-nonsense guide to leadership in the toughest situations. Drawing on his military experience in Afghanistan, Scott Mann shares his “Rooftop Leadership” approach, showing how to motivate and connect with others in low-trust, high-stakes environments. Mann’s advice feels especially timely, addressing the need for authentic connections as our society faces growing isolation and division. With a mix of powerful stories from the field and practical, relatable advice, this book is a motivating read for anyone who wants to lead effectively, build trust, and take action—even when it feels like no one’s coming to the rescue.
The main hook for the book is the stories from the author of his military life and life since leaving service. He weaves a framing of key aspects to succeed in life. It didn’t resonate as a female and might be better suited to individuals earlier in their career and life planning. Thank you to author. Thank you to #netgalley and publisher for an ARC.
I love a great self-help book. I feel like it's hard to review them at the moment because I'll utilize this book forever. But if I had no choice and had to say you should read this book. You should. I'm all for being a better person and taking all the necessary steps to get there. This book was a great read.
