The Blackwood and Visconti have been in a family feud for generations. Domenico Blackwood is a sexy billionaire. Evelina Visconti is an heiress. Dom and Eve meet at a local club. The two are instantly attracted to each other and share a kiss and a wonderful night together. After Dom finds out that his family and Eve’s family are feuding he is not happy and walks away. Years have passed and Eve has never forgotten about Dom. When the two find themselves stranded on an island the sparks, chemistry and attraction for each other is ever so present.
When Eve and Dom finding their way back together will the feud continue or can they convince their families to set aside their differences and give the couple their blessing.

Amazing hate-to-love romance!
How can this author pack so much action and emotion into such a relatively short novella? I was instantly swept up in Evie and Dom's story, from their anonymous first meeting to their realization of the intense family feud dividing them to their reluctant acceptance of the chemistry they share to their attempts to end the feud and heal the wounds of the past. Such a roller coaster of emotions, perfectly paced, filled with longing and sizzling heat that is only the beginning of all the future has in store for them.
The writing is exquisitely descriptive, the emotions are raw and honest, and the tension is palpable. This is a story I'll read again and again just to bask in the joy of this beautiful romance. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
In Marrying the Enemy, Dom and Eve are addictive main characters which propel a creative take on the classic plot of enemies-to-lovers who are are separated by a longstanding feud between their families. Eventually their passion leads them to a happy ending.
Fighting families...
So, of course these two are gonna hook up.
Then have to marry each other.
Dom and Eve have fighting families and an attraction to each other.
The obvious solution...to wed.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The plot was well written and I fell in love with the story as I read. The characters were so realistic and the story was well thought out. I would definitely recommend!
In this sizzling romance, Eve Visconti and Dom Blackwood, heirs to feuding families, share an intense attraction that ignites during a chance encounter. Despite knowing they should stay apart, they can't resist each other, leading to a passionate relationship. As they grapple with their family's feud, they must decide if marriage can bring peace. Dom's emotional growth and Eve's determination make for a compelling love story that will leave romance readers smiling.
Like Romeo and Juliet, Dom Blackwood and Eve Visconti strike sparks off each other from their first meeting. Eve is out celebrating with friends in Budapest and unbeknownst to her staying at a Blackwood hotel. When Dom finds out the woman he's lusting after is one of the Visconti family he has thrown out of the hotel. As years have passed, neither one of them has forgotten the scorching encounter.
Once the Blackwoods were the underdog but now the Blackwoods thanks to Dom's hard work seem to have the upper hand. The only thing that might save the Visconti fortune is a marriage between Eve and Dom to unite the families once again.
It's a cute love story, the family dynamics are interesting to say the least especially Eve's father and brothers. It is a love story after all and so I don't think I'm letting out any spoilers when I say love prevails and fortunately this love story does not end in tragedy.
Marrying the Enemy by Dani Collins, is an enemies-to-lovers, take on the Romeo and Juliet theme. The Visconti and Blackwood families have been feuding since Maria Visconti jilted her Blackwood fiancé to marry another. Eve Visconti has just finished university and celebrating with her friends in Budapest, when an instant attraction draws her to a man in the club, where they share a dance and a kiss. The next morning, while sharing another kiss, Dom discovers who she is and throws her out of his hotel. Four years later and Eve has never forgotten Dom Blackwood, the only man she really wants to take to her bed. When they find themselves stranded on a beach, during a destination wedding, the sparks fly as they finally give into their attraction. Dom knows to stay away from the Visconti’s but one meeting, years before and she is the only woman he can think of, especially after a night of passion that was supposed to end it all it. He has to have her, and wonders if he can end the feud by marrying. Convincing Eve is another obstacle for Dom to overcome, but he is the perfect man to do it. These two are perfect together; a perfect fit and match.

Loved this book! The tension between the hero and heroine sizzles and flows neatly within the storyline. A must read for every Dani Collins fan!!!
it was a bit too chaotic for me to enjoyed the enemies and marriage of convenience. the plot was a slow start and very instalove which I don't mind, but I didn't find it work with the characters here.
Rating: 4 Stars ⭐️
Spice: 3
Characters: Eve and Dom. Age difference.
Chemistry: insta lust. Eve is a virgin.
Plot: The protagonist families are enemies. They meet at a club in Budapest. There is instant attraction and they act on it. However, the hero finds out who she is and throws her out of his hotel. Four year later they are at a destination wedding and finely give into their attraction. From there on Dom pursues Eve and convinces her to marry him based on physical attraction and to end the family feud.
Overall: It starts slow but the story picks up. The writing is good.
Thank you to the publisher for providing the ARC.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a quick but fun read. I really loved the main characters in this series.
I love a good romance quickie read. I use them to decompress between heavier reads. This one was especially good. I enjoyed the thrill of the back and forth between the two love interests. Big thumbs up!
A thoroughly enjoyable story with two likable MCs. I believe this may be a recycled story as heroine references in the story that it is "2015".
This is a 2nd chance with 2 hotel conglomerate rivaling families. MCs start with a meeting in a bar in Budapest and hours later almost having sex - only to be stopped when Hero realizes who she is.
4 years later they reunite at a mutual friend's wedding and the deed is done. Hero than proposes marriage to heroine so that they can merge companies (or something like that) to stop the feud. Then we have a few back & forth with Hero not willing to put a name of what he feels for heroine until he one day sees the light and HEA.
Safety:
No Cheating
No OP drama
Four year separation where they were both celibate (Ye-epee!)
HEA
This was most definitely an enemies to lovers story. I really didn’t feel any love between Eve and Don until the very end. More so in the epilogue than in the actual book. I did like the story. It did move pretty fast. I was reading and next thing I noticed it was the end. Eve and Dom’s family have had a feud going on for forever. But Eve and Dom can’t deny their attraction to each other. When Dom suggests marrying to end this feud, only Eve’s brother Nico agrees. After these two marry, it moves so quickly that we really don’t see any relationship development. We do get a sweet happy ending and those I always love.
This is a Hate to Love Romance, and this book has Romeo and Juliet vibes. I really loved the characters in this book, and I loved how the romance slowly happened. I got pulled into the story and characters for the beginning and did not want to put this book down. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
This was a fun, short read that didn't feel shorted on the plot or spice. This has two of my favorite tropes: enemies to lovers and forbidden relationships. It had a bit of a nod to Romeo and Juliet, in terms of both the lovers from warring households (but in business, in this case) that are Italian in heritage. Dom and Eveline meet without knowing who the other is and falls in instant lust. Years later, they can't forget each other and are thrown together at an Australian wedding. Will they leverage their chemistry into a familial truce? I really appreciated the author's commitment to consent throughout the book. I feel like we learned enough about the family -- on both sides -- that there could be other books in the works with brothers and sisters? There were some rough spots in writing and unbelievable elements, but overall, this was a very enjoyable read!
