Thanks to NetGalley, the Publisher and Author for an ARC of this graphic novel in exchange for my review.

Bad Kitty: Party Animal by Nick Bruel is graphic novel for young readers who are learning to navigate the challenges of sibling rivalry and sharing. It is a funny tale of learning to put others first and celebrate special occasions with kindness and generosity, which isn't easy for anyone!

The drawings are colorful and emersive and the story builds to a satisfying ending. The epilogue is fun last laugh. I can imagine adults and kids having a great time reading together.

As a huge fan of the Bad Kitty series, reading this graphic was an absolute pleasure. As usual, Bad Kitty never fails to put a smile on my face and had me chuckling throughout the story. With Puppy celebrating his first birthday, Kitty is anything but thrilled. Between eating Puppy's special breakfast, popping all the birthday balloons, and being a general nuisance, Kitty would rather have everything be about her. Dealing with classic sibling rivalry, problems with sharing, and the love of family, Bad Kitty: Party Animal has something for everyone. Both kids and adults will enjoy this story starring this bad feline!

Who cannot like Bad Kitty. Her personality is one that any kid or adult can fall in love with. I adore this graphic novel from all the different ways Bad Kitty struggles to embrace her brother dog, to her inventive ways to make a card or a gift. This book is just a home run. I know that fans of this series are going to adore this newest novel.
Thank you so much to MacMillian Children’s Publishing and Netgalley for allowing me to read an advance copy of this title.

My students love this series and i can totally see why! The illustrations are informative and well drawn and the humor in the story is appropriate for both kids and adults.

In this book, Bad Kitty is celebrating Puppy’s birthday and no matter how they try to make a difference and do what is asked, everything goes wrong! In the end, a cat and mouse help Bad Kitty to realize how mich they love puppy!

Bad Kitty: Party Animal is the latest and greatest in Nick Bruel's Bad Kitty series, and fans of the series will not be disappointed! I thought this one really captured the sibling dynamics between Puppy and Kitty; You may fight, you might not always like them, but at the end of the day, they are your sibling and you still love them. I also love the addition of the DnD-like game, that was very exciting and joyful to read about. All in all, this is a worthy addition to the series and I think readers will be filled with laughter at Kitty's antics.

Another wonderful edition to the bad kitty series. I read this with my 8 yr old and he didn’t want to stop. I love the message at the end when kitty realizes how much puppy loves her and she loves puppy. Just like true siblings!

The Bad Kitty series is so fun! This book is especially fun because it captures the true spirit of cats and dogs. Kitty learns a lesson that helps her get along with Puppy and celebrate his birthday. Puppy is his adorable, goofy self.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. Bad Kitty is a fun series and this one is another great read. My students love the Bad Kitty series and will be excited to read the latest book. At first Bad Kitty isn’t wanting to be around Puppy on his birthday but she realizes that he really is a good buddy to have around; even if he gets on her nerves at times. Strange Kitty and Mouse always crack me up.

Nick Bruel never disappoints! I love the way he is able to mix humor that has my kids absolutely cackling with good lessons on sharing and caring for others. Bad Kitty is a go-to for family story time.

It's Puppy's birthday, and Bad Kitty (both intentionally and accidentally) keeps stealing the spotlight. As the humans get more irritated with Bad Kitty, Puppy is still very happy to have Kitty so engaged with his special day.

Bad Kitty is always a crowd pleaser in an elementary school library, with both the chapter book titles and the picture book titles. This book follows suit with the others in this series and will be highly circulated.
