I'm too old to think this guy is this cool. But he really is. Bad Bunny is the King of Latin Trap but he is also a great actor and he seems to be a genuinely nice and caring young man. I loved reading about him and his family and their life in Puerto Rico. It's easy to believe that this is just the beginning of Bad Bunny's accomplishments, even though he's already done so much. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.
When I started reading Hispanic Star: Bad Bunny I honestly knew very little about him. I knew that he was in Bullet Train, which is a great film, and I knew that he was a popular musician. But there's so much more to Bad Bunny than meets the eye. I love all of the positive things that this book features about him - from his love for his family to his work in activism and being an ally to how he has stayed true to his roots throughout his career and also lifted up others in their own careers. He's just a genuinely good person.
I'd be interested in reading other books in the Hispanic Star series and will recommend it to kids when they're looking for some new nonfiction at the library!
