We are huge fans of Sesame Street and all that they stand for in our young children’s lives. This new addition to their array of books is a true show or what they create. In “I Love To Watch You Grow!” we celebrate all the many ways our little ones grow and change every day. We follow our favorite characters as they work together in their community garden. Together they discover all about taking care of our Earth, nature and all the many things that make us all special and how they themselves grow every single day. The story shared the many ways we love to see our little ones grow and that we love them, like watching them play, laugh and that they are “all (our) wishes rolled up in one”. The book even gives us ideas on things like how to start your own garden and to take care of nature and your world. The beautiful illustrations captured the magic and fun that is Sesame Street and the messages they shared. So much love packed in a cute little story. Your family will love this story. It is perfect for that snuggle time together and becoming a family favorite.

This was such a cute book! I loved Sesame Street growing up, so reading this felt like a flashback to childhood. I love the rhyming and all of the illustrations! Will definitely read this book with my son. Thank you to Sesame Workshop, Erin Guendelsberger & NetGalley for the ARC!

A colourful, rhyming affirmation, where the text has a parent declare admiration, respect and love for their youngster, while the Sesame Street characters act out a season's work at a community garden. Yes, they share seeds, they compost and water – and everything needed to justify the final spread about sustainability. That's a bit awkward here, as the script was about a parent's gratitude and love until then, but the clumsy switch aside it's not too bad. Text-wise we stumble, as we're firmly in the world of octameter – until we're suddenly not. All told, then – line-length changes, content changes, the fact this format of books has never once struck me as really necessary – this is three and a half stars.

This little book had me tearing up as it was just so beautiful. My little daughter also adores Elmo, so I’m sure that had something to do with it too ❤️

Not only is this a story of the amazing way in which we watch out little ones grow, but it also gives great tips on recycling and how we can help grow and nurture things in the world we live in.

It is sweet, charming, fun, bright and is all the things I love sharing with my daughter.

Me and my three year old loved this book. The pictures are fab and my little boy loved pointing out each character and saying their names. It rhymes too!! Always a hit if it’s a rhyming book. P

Generally this book was nice. The illustrations were beautiful and the writing was lyrical enough to keep a child’s attention.

However the messaging was fairly generic and it’s for that reason that we likely won’t sell it at our used/new bookstore.

Such a cute story for parents and children alike. The illustrations are bright and beautiful! There are lots of wonderful messages such as taking care of ourselves, our friends and family and our planet. I also really enjoyed all of the positive self talk for all of the children.

This book serves as an excellent resource for teaching children the importance of self-care and caring for others. It is filled with valuable lessons and practical tips on how we can support ourselves, our friends and family.

Elmo, my two year old's favorite character from Sesame Street, adds a delightful touch to the experience. The vibrant cover, engaging illustrations, and charming characters make it appealing for young readers.

Additionally, the book offers insightful information on recycling and nurturing growth, emphasizing various ways we can contribute positively to our surroundings. It's a wonderful way to inspire kids to make a difference in their world.

Is there ever a bad Sesame Workshop book? No! This book "I love to Watch you grow "is fantastic and easy to read.
Follows all the characters and all the ways they grow each and every day. Then at the end there are a few pages called Help the world grow and ways you can make a difference with some fun ideas.

My 3yo loves Elmo and all the Sesame Street characters, so this book was a hit! It was a cute spin on earth-conscious books, focusing primarily on the love for a child and then later on tying it to love for the planet. I thought it was cute and well done.

Very cute book with the classic Sesame Street characters! I enjoyed the rhyming texts and metaphor of plants/flowers growing just like children. The notes at the end about the importance of sustainability and how to practice it were also a nice
bonus!

Elmo has always been a fan favorite around my house. Even from way back when my oldest daughter was still a preschooler. She’s 21 now and not as interested but she does enjoy reading her little brother. Nostalgic books like this.
The book has the usual bright Sesame Street illustrations. It’s written in rhyming prose which I think took a bit away from the way it just skimmed over lessons. Perhaps having some actual dialogue about why they are doing the things would make it feel more educational . Either way it’s a good stepping stone for parents to start discussing ways kids grow and help other people and things to grow too.

This is a beautiful book. I loved the message for young children. The text is rhythmic and engaging! My son loved the story. He’s a big fan of Sesame Street! The illustrations are bright and colorful. I loved the inclusion of information about sustainability at the end.

This is the perfect children’s book to not only impower your child the importance of staying true to you, but to share compassion and kindness with others. I love that the illustrations focus on what we can do to sustain our planet too

I love elmo and was happy to be able to share a book with elmo with my son. He enjoyed having it read to him. I highly recommend to other parents to read to thier little ones, and to add to thier little ones book collection.

Okay, first let me say I love Elmo almost as much as my four year old Grandson, but "I Love to Watch You Grow!" takes it to a new level. Each page bursts with positivity, and the prose is beautiful, and the illustrations of the Sesame Street characters are bright and cheerful. This book is perfect for kids 4-7. Younger kids will enjoy it too, (although they probably won't really understand it). I especially liked the last two pages at the end of the book that teach sustainability, and small steps families can take that together will make a big difference. I think it helps empower them.

Such a sweet book for a caregiver and child to sit and read together!! I sat down and read this with my 4 year-old and it was such a wonderful story, full of colorful photos of beloved Sesame Street characters and writing that made for a lovely snuggly storytime together. The rhymes of each page had a fantastic flow, and the idea of watching things grow was just beautiful.
