Johnny has had a terrible accident and may not survive. Exiting and suspenseful opening. Percy and Bruni rush to Johnny’s side determined to find out what happened. An accident does not make sense to Johnny and with Bruno’s help he sets out the unravel the mystery. All the familiar characters from the first two novels are back. I enjoyed this story.

I loved the setting for this book and felt completely drawn into the context. This helped me to understand the characters, noting that I had not yet read the previous books in the series. The relationships are importantly here and the impact of the coma on people beyond the individual was really well done. I loved the author’s writing style and found the setting and story equally appealing. Looking forward to now reading the rest of the series.
