3.5 rounded up to a 4 ☆
2/5 🌶
This was a fun small town, childhood enemies to lovers romance. Felt like a spicy hallmark movie novel!
The forbidden brother's best friend.
Plenty of spice.
Small town vibes and romance.
Anna and Max haven't seen each other in years, but that all changes when he walks through the door in NYC. From NYC to small town Rainbow Cove, there is an undeniable spark between them, but will they admit to it?
This was good, fun, spicy read. I really enjoyed it. I just wish it was a little bit longer or had an epilogue about Anna and Max after the ending, what are they up to now?
This was such a fun quick read! This was a small town romance that gave me spicy hallmark vibes! Loving the main characters and how different they are and how they immediately attracted each other. If you are looking for a short spicy read this is the book for you
3.5 Stars
This book is a brother's best friend and mostly set in a small town. Anna and Max haven't seen each other in years and run into each other in NYC. After a one night stand, they both end back in their small hometown together and can't deny the spark they have. The reason I only rated this 3.5 is because it was quite predictable, I wish there had been a deeper connection between the characters, and I'm not sure how I feel about the slight foot fetish.... It wasn't bad, just a little lighter than my normal reads.
I enjoyed the side characters and the little town. Overall this was a cute (don't mistake cute for closed door though), quick read. Gave me Hallmark movie vibes. If you are looking for a light, sexy romance you should give this one a shot.
Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a fun and spicy read for sure! Anna and Max have undeniable chemistry throughout the story. Max is Anna's brother's best friend and let's be honest, who doesn't love the brother's best friend trope?! If you are looking for a spicy, quick read, then this book is perfect for you. It had all the fun tropes (small town, meddling grandmas, brother's best friend, enemies to lovers vibe, etc.). I enjoyed this read!
This was a super fun and quick read. Anna is so much fun from the beginning, max is HOT! This book is full of spice and heart and I had fun reading it!
-Brother's Best Friend (Childhood Best Friends)
-Opposites Attract
-Meddling Grandmothers
-Small Town Romance
-Plenty Of Spice 🌶️
"One Night Stand Ever After" book three in the Unforgettable Fire series, was a fast-paced read.
I think this book would be a great fit for anyone who's looking for a fun spicy read . Max and Anna the MC's seem to have polar opposite personalities but they are pulled together by desire, chemistry and two meddling Grandmother's who were arguably my favorite part of the story.
I think the storyline was more spice than plot forward. The romance definitely ran hot but I wish we could have seen more of connection on a deeper level.
3.5⭐ (Rounded Up To 4)
Thank you Amanda Usen, Net Galley and Entangled Publishing LLC for providing me with an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own.
i was invited to read this novel, but unfortunately i dont think it was the book for me :(
the cover alone had me hesitant to pick this up as i would like a little more sweet and realistic in my story than steamy. it *ultimately* enjoyable, but i wont think about it again.
Brother's best friend with a side of small town romance. Anna Rivera hasn't seen Max Cooper in years - not since the summers she'd spent in Rainbow Cove when they were growing up - so he's the last person she expects to see walk into the NYC bar where her burlesque troupe is having it's farewell party. One utility closet hookup later, and he's out the door before she has a chance to reconsider their 'no-strings' agreement. That should have been it, but it seems fate has other ideas, because when Anna finds herself back in Rainbow Cove to take over her grandmother's diner for a few weeks, Max Cooper once again walks through the door.
This was a quick, fun, and spicy romance, with two easy to like main characters - I especially loved Anna's passion for dance and her eagerness to teach anyone that wants to learn. The small town aspects were heartwarming, with both Anna and Max dropping everything to come back and help their grandmothers, and the rest of the town's willingness to chip in where needed. Overall a sweet read, but with plenty of sexy too.

One Night Stand Ever After was a fun, quick read. A little formulaic but I like the formula so the read was definitely worth it. Fun, cute banter and spice. Winning combo
This book was not for me which is disappointing because the summary sounded like something I would like. But I found myself more annoyed than anything while reading.
Max is Anna’s older brother’s best friend. She had a huge crush on him when they were young but he just ignored her. Anna has not seen max since they were 12 years old; but when some man walks into a bar that she’s doing a dance performance at that she does not recognize, she just knows it has to be Max by the way he walks to the bar without paying attention to her. And just like that she feels an intense longing for the man even tho she was just teary eyed and grieving another man before he walked in. Once we get past that the story does get better but It didn’t feel like there was much more to this couple than the physical intimacy.
*I should add that I have not read the other 2 books from this series. But it is supposed to be a standalone
*I also feel like a content warning that this book may not be suitable for people grossed out by foot fetishes could also help
This was a delicious read. Learning to love the adventure of life in the way you want. Thank you to entangled publishing for allowing me to review this :)

This story centers around Max and Anna...Max is Anna's crush from childhood. When they find each other in the same restaurant/bar one night in NYC...things heat up fast. This isn't a deep romance....everything is centered on them hooking up and keeping it from Anna's brother and the rest of the small town they are now spending time in again.
If you want a SPICY book that jumps into the action fast, this is the books for you. You aren't getting a deep romantic connection that tugs at your heart. The use of their childhood nicknames kind of irked me and I though they were a bit over used. Especially when they were using them again so quickly after seeing each other after so many years. That could totally just be a me thing though.
I read this book in a day, so obviously I was entertained...I think you just need to know what you are getting into when you dive into this.

I absolutely loved "One Night Stand Ever After" by Amanda Esen! Anna, a burlesque dancer, reunites with her childhood crush, Max, at her troupe's final show, and the sparks fly! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters, and the romantic scenes were unparalleled. 🌶️ 4/5 stars ⭐️ . Thank you to Netgalley, Amanda Esen, and Entangled Publishing: Brazen for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.
One Night Stand Ever After is a brothers best friend/forbidden romance, kind of? The MMC and brother don't really seem all that close and there relationship isn't really explored much so it's hard to really buy into the "your my brothers best friend I can't have you" idea. Additionally, the relationship in this story is solely revolved around sex and we don't see much of the relationship building. SO, if you're really just looking for a spicy one off as a palette cleanser, this might be for you. If you are looking for something with a little bit more sustenance, I might recommend looking elsewhere!
As this is technically a stand alone, I did not read the other two books; however, I think the lack of sustenance in our main plot line might have been easier to deal with if I was experiencing the "epilogue" of those other stories as well.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher, Entangled Publishing, for this sizzling novel.
I loved the romance, the heat and the chemistry between Max and Anna..
The author did a fantastic job. A great read!
Highly recommend.
Anna is in NewYork saying farewell to her burlesque group, and in walks in Max, her childhood crush and her brothers best friend. The sparks are pretty much instant between them and they end up having a one night stand, expecting never to see each other again. But as fate has it, they both are stuck in their hometown together and the sparks are still as bright as ever.
This was a sizzling hot romance. The chemistry was hot enough to set my kindle on fire. I loved the small town charm and the meddling grandmothers ( would have loved to see more of their meddling thought).
Overall a hot and quick read.
Cute sweet small town romance — like a spicy hallmark movie! Max is an uptight business man, Anna is spontaneous and fun dancer. Anna runs into Max at a bar and immediately clocks him as her childhood crush — they have a one night stand and promise no strings attached. Then they’re called back to their small hometown to help their respective grandmothers. Chaos, antics, and spice ensue. I appreciated this book for its near non-existent third act break-up. The characters came off as a little surface level but it’s a short romance so we didn’t have a lot of time to truly learn about them. Ultimately if you’re looking for cute, light, and short — this might be for you!

"One Night Stand Ever After" was hard for me to get into. Our main character Anna is a dancer. For some reason I could not envision the dancing majority of the time. When I was able to imagine those scenes, it came off as cringy. Now, that could possibly be a me thing, so I won't harp on that too long. Maybe adding better imagery will help the reader in those areas. I was not convinced of Max & Anna's feelings for each other. Their interactions were mostly just sex.
I can't wait to read the other books that make up this series. I liked Usen's writing and the way the story unfolded. The spicy parts were enjoyable! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Four stars.
