I got emotionally invested in some bits because I saw how genuine Gemma was. I would recommend this for a lighter summer read, but it does have some depth about friendship and being a true friend.

Ended up DNFing this book. It felt more like middle grade than a YA and I just didn't vibe with our main character. She felt very one-dimensional, selfish, and childish.

I DNF'd around the 45% mark. I could not get pulled into the story. The pacing dragged and the characters fell flat and I didn’t feel invested in finding out what happened to them. It just wasn't the book for me.

This books have a cute story which I enjoyed a lot as a reader. I would surely recommend this to other readers.

I went into this book expecting a cute, summer contemporary. It had it's cute moments but overall I think this fell short in both characters and plot. I enjoyed it but I was expecting more.

Really adorable read. I fell in love with the characters and I felt every emotion the characters felt like it was my own.

The characters were interesting enough but I'm very disappointed that there is a sequel. I would have loved for this to have an end and be a stand alone.
