Overall, this cookbook was a miss for us. There were some decent recipes but nothing earth-shattering or that you couldn't find with a cook look on Pinterest. The photos were lovely but lacked organization and labels. Eh...
While there were some recipes that I had bookmarked to try in this cookbook, I wasn't too upset when my kindle accidentally ate it and couln't retrieve it again. This is a somewhat confusing cookbook that features recipes that are gluten free and dairy free. I had hoped for more vegetarian recipes but it is a very standard American diet kind of cookbook, just without wheat and dairy. The author uses a lot of ingredients like margarine. Recipes are given in metric units like grams, which I can convert for my American kitchen but it makes it a little less intuitive for me as a cook. This would be a good cookbook to check out from the library first to see if it's a good resource for your kitchen.
My husband has celiac so I am looking for cookbooks to add to my collection. I am not the best cook so this "simply" one is great! It's easy to follow with tasty recipes.
