Beautiful story. Loved the journey you take with these women. It felt a bit surface level overall. It did feel like we could have gone somewhat deeper with the characters. But the setting was incredible and the details for that really made it for me. I would even enjoy a follow up novel that went further in with these characters.

The setting was amazing & made me want to go to Greece immediately. But the characters did nothing for me & the plot did even less. It could have been good, it was just lacking something.

Really nice story set at a literary festival in Greece. Loved how all the of characters had their own journeys to go on however I felt like we needed more from each character. I enjoyed learning and reading about Greece and the culture the characters love and care for each other was really heart warming. A lovely relaxing read. Three Stars.
Thanks to NetGally and the publishers for a copy of this book

Not quite sure on this one! I loved the settings and the characters but I can’t quite feel like something is missing. Like we don’t quite delve deep enough into each character. I felt like when will something more happen. It’s nothing against the author or story, it’s a lovely story set in a beautiful place but I think it just needed something extra unfortunately.
Where the book is set sounds absolutely beautiful though and I love the way the author uses Greek throughout the book.

I love a book set in Greece and the author really managed to transport me to this charming greek town with her vivid descriptions. I liked the themes and the familiar relationships. The bond between the four women was good, but at the same time I'd like som more depth and exploration in each of them. Nontheless a good novel

I love Greece and books! What more could you want in a book? The 4 women are intriguing…. However, I did feel like we could have gotten more? I felt like something was missing or something’s were not embellished on.

The writing was great, I just wish there was…… more.

‘When the Only Light is the Moon’ transports you to Greece in such a magical way! The setting was ideal, the romance was enchanting, and the characters were mostly all intriguing. All four women were interesting in their own ways, but Demi was definitely my favorite POV. I loved her interactions with Stavros, and I felt for her in her recent breakup and stagnant job.

The reason this only gets three stars is because there were times when it felt too surface-level. I wanted scenes and characters to feel a little deeper and more drawn out, but that didn’t always happen. It was a remarkably fast read though, and I would highly recommend it if you are curious about Greek culture or travel!

I loved the idea of this story and enjoyed the trip these women take to Greece together. I appreciated the literary aspects of the conference that one was attending. The romance storyline was also a good part of the book. The family dynamics seemed so realistic. I think my mom and aunts would love this book. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Four stars.
