I really liked it. Lots of action, intrigue and supernatural things going on. Ichabod and Ellie are a great team and I'm loving this story. Lots of twists and turns. Can't wait to read more of this!

I enjoyed this volume a lot more than the first! The first volume was a bit sporadic and I was curious what the plot was besides getting rid of paranormal villainous creatures.
I felt like the plot really picked up in this volume and I was hooked. The art is fantastic, and the plot twists kept me guessing. And we always love a little potential love triangle. 👀

I’m excited to read volume 3 when it comes out! I want to know what happens next.

Netgalley Review

Star Rating: ★★★★☆

Read the description and thought I'd give it a try. It was an interesting read and I can't wait to read more! I like the characters. I like the murder mystery kind of detective style. Merged with the supernatural genre makes this a really great concept. I enjoyed the characters and can't wait to see how they develop further.

Like always though, read it and decide for yourself

Thank you Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, WEBTOON Unscrolled, and NetGalley for the advanced electronic review copy of this cool, spine-tingling adventure. I read this volume without reading the first one, but thanks to an short overview in the beginning of the story, I feel like I didn’t miss anything and was able to enjoy this story without confusion. The story is easy to follow and is a fun, magic filled adventure with great characters and awesome artwork. I’m definitely reading the first volume in the meantime and can’t wait for the next one to find out what happens next.

Ellie is back, continuing her work with Ichabod. It’s funny when one is jobless, drawing in debt, and on the verge of losing everything, and then fortune shifts. She is determined to become strong enough to make a good partner for Ichabod. And now they have supernatural mysteries to solve. Witches, demons, and ancient monsters come out to play in this second volume.

This is a cozy fantasy mystery that gives more of the story behind Ellie and Ichabod. I was happy to discover that Moriarty didn’t choose to create a love triangle between the new witch Maris and his partner Ellie. It’s clear feelings are starting to develop between Ellie and Ichabod, but it’s done in a tasteful way that doesn’t distract from the storyline. I am so intrigued to learn more about Ichabod in the next installment.

We love a good recap moment to get back into the swing of things. I thought it was a great way to start this second volume as well as to tie-in to the recaps done for each of the regular WEBTOON episodes. And homage to their standard setup.

Secrets and mystery abound for this paranormal investigative duo with fabulous side characters and literary-named antagonists. Meddling demons, lost ghosts, creepy theater halls, missing persons, and booby trapped catacombs. So much for two supernaturally gifted beings to try to figure out and somehow it all pieced together in some way for the Big Bad. Add in learning some background about Ichabod himself, and we have a great second edition to this world. Beautiful art and easy to follow panels are fabulous as well.

Every bit of this second installment was such a delight! I flew through it on a first read through and even read it a second time to give my thoughts time to actually develop behind utter enjoyment.

I am obsessed with this series. I love Ichabod and love getting to know more about his past. Ellie is a firecracker and I love her. I also adore the side characters. The story was interesting. I could not put it down. I cannot wait to read the next one. The illustrations are so beautiful. Thank you to NetGalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

So much fun! I zoomed through this one just like the first. I don't read a lot of web comics or graphic novels, but these are so accessible and really pull you in. The perfect combination of campy and spooky, with a cast of lovable characters who make you want to keep reading.

This is a great continuation of the Third Shift Society story. It picks up right where volume one left off. Volume two gives more detail into the characters, especially Ichabod who we barely got to know in the first volume. The artwork is clean, and fun. Overall this story is a cozy fantasy that is a very enjoyable read. I can't wait to see where it goes next.

I loved this book! It was a great follow-up to Volume 1. This graphic novel was simultaneously engaging, fast paced, and easy to read. Ichabod is a lovely character. I also really liked the final scene in this Volume.

As we continue the story of Ichabod and Ellie, a lot more trouble finds them at nearly every corner. A couple of characters from volume one are a bit more involved and more lore is explained. We get to tag along on their supernatural cases a couple of times. But the main plot is just getting more and more creepy while answers are given… with more questions!

As usual, I love the artwork. And Maris’s outfits… gorgeous! Especially her black and gold cape. The humor in this volume is awesome! I had quite a few laugh-out-loud moments.

I like the building tension between Ichabod and Ellie. Their relationship is progressing at a good pace and it does not interfere with the main plot of the story.

That ending makes me eager to read volume three!

Thank you for #ThirdShiftSocietyVolumeTwo

VOLUME TWO : LET’S GO!

I had my hesitations about this series since I read volume one. This is going to be hard to believe but I didn’t go onto Webtoons and read ahead. I know I said back in February that I was going to because I needed to know what happened after the cliffhanger, but SURPRISE. Patience won and I waited until volume two was released through Netgalley.

Volume two didn’t let me down y’all but I can tell this is going to be a slow process and patience may not win to see what happens. I read all 300+ pages in just a couple hours and I still have so many questions. Is Alice good or bad? What is the full story behind Ichabod’s creation? AND WHY is Ellie so nonchalant about Ichabod basically being an undead pumpkin. I’m 100% proud of her patience and letting him know that while she does have questions they can wait, especially because it proves that she isn’t into him just because of his species (?). I do like that this followed a similar pattern to the first book where we get to see their little adventures and jobs together, but these start to connect to the plot line of Alice, Oberon, and Titania. The plot is thickening, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Thank you, Meredith, Netgalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, for the advance DRC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Ok yes. I was left wanting more from season one. Season 2 has delivered!! The art continues to be a favourite of mine, it’s stunning, I really love the style. The story really amped up here as well. We went from a new mystery each episode in season one to more consistency and building on the story-which is exactly why I had felt kinda meh about season one. I love the story that we are getting with the character relationships as well. One problem I had was that there was one or two things that weren’t very well explained, and I don’t think that was part of the mystery, I think we just needed more detail. But overall I still really loved this.

Excellent!

I started this on webtoon and lost track of my reading there so getting to volume two was SO EXCITING! We finally see where Ichabod started, we see more of Ellie’s power and I just love her. Their team work is a lot of fun, and we have more Maris and Dr as well!

The art is gorgeous, I love it, and I’m so intrigued and excited to get to the next installment! Definitely pick it up, it’s great!!

I just love this series! I enjoyed the first one so much and I was so excited to see this. I would recommend reading them in order because it's so great how the main characters meet and end up working together. The adventure continues in this one, and Ellie and Ichabod are willing to take on anything.
Ellie and Ichabod have special powers, but they're not invincible. You always know that they could get hurt but they want to help fight the forces of bad. The illustrations are bright and energetic. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Calling all grown-up Scooby-Doo fans and anyone who generally likes a spooky good time! I have the graphic novel for you!!

I was so excited to get to read an ARC of this! I absolutely adored the first volume and volume two is just as fantastic. I am hooked and MUST know what happens next.

Ellie and Ichabod and the gang are such fun characters and Meredith Moriarty does a phenomenal job with character development and the chemistry between all of the characters. Oh, and the art style?! STUNNING. Honestly, I’m obsessed with this series now and I can’t wait to purchase a copy of this when it releases in October.

Thank you so much to Wattpad Webtoon Book Group and NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book! All opinions are my own.

This is my first Graphic Novel from NetGalley, I enjoyed it more than I planned to.
This book was a cute, quick read that has a lot of potential for the rest of the series. I'm curious to read more from this author. I once again read a book starting with the second book. I feel I was up to speed easily but may read the first one now.
Thank you to Webtoon for the opportunity to read this book early for an honest review!
