This wasn’t exactly what I imagined - some interesting twists in the plot. A really enjoyable, light red. I liked the characters and the setting was pretty with some giggles along the way.

This book is both sweet and funny and follows Summer when she drunkenly books a trip to Italy.

I liked the writing of the book along with the emotions that Sophie has brought out in the book and it feels that I was transported to Italy.

But the miscommunication trope did it for me. If the MCs were teenagers I would have been ok with it but I am unable to appreciate the MCs in mid 30s not talking to each other and sorting out their issues. That brought down the whole book.

This was a very sweet romantic comedy. Summer was very relatable to me. She is accident prone and definitely gets herself into some comical situations. The Rossi family was so welcoming and loving. After reading this book I want to book myself a bicycle tour of Italy.

Lighthearted, fun summer read. Lorenzo was the perfect MMC, and Nonna was amazing.

My only gripe - as a girl from Florence, is that he beginning in the email from the tour agency, it mentions that they will organize travel from “Florence to Tuscany”. That’s like saying you’ll organize travel from Rome to Italy. Florence is the capital of Tuscany…so yeah. You can organize travel around it but you’re already there. Minor detail but one that stuck out.

Other than that it was a lovely read - who doesn’t love an enemies to lovers with a little bit of a scheming Nonna tossed in!? Ultimately, Summer got her Under the Tuscan Sun romance!

I wish I could tell you how much I enjoyed this book! I couldn't wait to get home from work when I was reading it so I could transport myself to Italy and into the lives of Summer and Lorenzo. The bits of Italian interspersed throughout were fun. And who doesn't enjoy a sassy, meddling Italian nonna?!

This book makes you fall in love with Italy, love and adventure. We go on a journey with Summer who hasn’t had the easiest life growing up and dealing with the BS now of being single and online dating in your 30’s. When one night she makes a mistake and abuses her credit card with an impromptu trip to Italy changes her life. We meet the Rossi family, and if you don’t know Italian families you don’t understand how it is to become instant familia. If you love fun rom coms, grandma/nonnas and good food then this is the book for you. Thank you Netgallery and Sophie Sinclair for choosing me to be an arc reader for this book.

Summer is struggling, her life in California is slightly falling apart and she no longer feels the excitement she had for her job when she started it. After an awful date, leading to her crazy drunken state, she books a bike tour across Tuscany. A few more accidents and she ends up at the front door of Rossis olive oil farm begging for a job.

The Italian setting is truly gorgeous, I felt transported into a land of deliciously smelling food, warm shining sun, quaint rural towns and the romantic Italian language. It was beautifully descriptive.

The love story was precious, Summer was keen and set on Lorenzo despite his set backs and busy life style. They were truly made for eachother and their dedication showed it. It was a story of self discovery, fun, and learning what truly matters in life. The laughter and jokes echoed through the pages, the side characters were hilarious and so full of wisdom. There was your classic, rom-com kiss in the rain, which was too die for. This book was filled with angst and sexual tension.

I would highly recommend Lost in Tuscany for anyone who is searching for a summery, tasty romance to read on vacation🫶

Man, this book made my heart ready to burst.
The whole Hallmark movie logic was delightful to read. I loved how unrealistic it was.
Seriously, what is the possibility of drunk-booking a flight to Italy, go on a bike tour, have an accident, end up renting a house from a lovely billionaire nonna and fall in love? I'm not a math genius, but it's way too close to zero.
However, part of the book's charm was how farfetched it was. Believe it or not, it made it easier to be swept in wholly.
The main characters, Summer and Lorenzo, had explosive chemistry. Like, I'm-blushing-even-when-it's-an-innocent-scene chemistry.
I loved how tuned into one another both were. They were both adorably trying to fight their feelings but obviously couldn't.
The setting and the side characters were fantastic, they genuinely made the book one of my favorites this year.
Highly recommend.

I had such high expectations for this book and it just fell significantly flat.

Summer Andrews is a predictable thirty-somethings living in Burlingame, CA (as someone from this area I was SHOCKED to see a character from BURLINGAME!) who drunkenly books a singles-only biking tour through Tuscany. Hopeful to fall in love with some swarthy, dark Italian man, the only thing Summer does is fall off her bike, thus, ending the tour early. Lucky for her, she sinks a gig living and working on an olive oil farm. To nobody's surprise at all, chaos ensues and she *GASP* falls in love with said swarthy, dark, Italian man.

Let me be clear, I enjoy the good Hallmark movie and this synopsis BLEEDS good, lovey dovey, Hallmark vibes. However, the writing was just NOT good. Truthfully, the best and most well-written parts of the book were the sex scenes. I found myself bribing myself with yummy lattes and chocolates to just get through this book because I was committed to seeing it through. Just meh.

Lost in Tuscany by Sophie Sinclair tackles big issues in a fun way and had me longing to head back to Tuscany to live my own summer daydream!

Summer has been responsible - REALLY responsible - her whole life, realising that her mother was not really fit to make big adult decisions and so she grew up pretty quickly. After a disastrous blind date, she has her own date with a couple bottles of wine and a booking site for a cycling trip in Italy. Feeling like she needs to shake something up, in a slightly drunken state, she books it, but regrets it the next morning. Despite everything she tries, she can’t get out of the trip and heads off to Tuscany slightly reluctantly.

Once there, a serendipitous meeting sets a course that will see her stay in Italy for the summer, meeting a family that has the potential to change her whole mindset. Lush descriptions of the vineyards and olive groves of Tuscany, a steamy romance and Summer facing up to her biggest fears make this a brilliant summer read. Aperol Spritz at the ready!

I just finished *Lost in Tuscany*, and it was such a charming, light romance! The story follows Summer Andrews, a graphic artist who, after a rough day, drunkenly books a nonrefundable bike tour in Tuscany. She’s not really the athletic type, so when an accident cuts the tour short, she ends up staying on a cozy olive farm instead. The sweet elderly owner takes her in and puts her to work in their olive oil tasting boutique. And, of course, there’s a handsome, single son, Lorenzo, who runs the business—cue the romance!

The supporting characters, especially Nonna and her family, were so fun and well-written. I loved how the Italian dialogue was naturally translated through Summer’s interactions since she barely knows any Italian. The bit of drama with Summer’s mum back in California added a nice touch of emotion, and Lorenzo’s sweet efforts to keep their relationship alive made for a heartwarming ending.

Although there wasn’t a ton of sightseeing beyond a quick trip to Pisa and some cute villages, Sophie Sinclair did a great job capturing the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. I would definitely recommend this book if you're dreaming of wine tastings in Tuscany!

I adore the characters in this book, especially Nonna. This book was fun, and I didn't want to put it down. It made me want to read more by Sophie Sinclair. Well done!

i simply loved this book. it had everything!! romance, personal struggles and ambitions. It was a super smooth read and the chemistry between Lorenzo and Summer was so good.

I adored this book! Summer is such a relatable and inspiring character—her spontaneous decision to book a trip to Italy while a bit tipsy makes me want to follow in her footsteps. It was empowering to see her prioritize herself for a change, especially since she’s always been the one looking out for everyone else. The romance between the two main characters was beautifully done and felt just right. I initially thought the bike tour would play a major role in the story, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was only a small part of the book. This choice really allowed the focus to stay on Summer's personal journey and the romantic plot, making the story even more engaging.

it's typical rom-com, a girl who's in love with love looking for the love of her life, a girl with mommy issues and being loved issues.
she doesn't think she's enough. the first meeting with the male character is typical too, he finds her attractive but he is "mean" to her. But then realize he's attracted to her but he can't act on it cause he was burned once and has a lot going on in his life? but at the same time he always finds himself around her??

my favorite character has to be the grandmother!!!! I loved her wit so much

Summer needs a change and apparently drunk Summer drank a bit too much wine and watch her favorite movie a bit too much and she booked a tour! Now she has to figure out how to BIKE! But an accident changes all that and she just happens to decide that California can live without her for a bit longer. She finds an Olive Oil Farm looking for an extra set of hands and just maybe it was written in the stars that she arrived at the perfect time

This book was fabulously designed. It was hallmark and Netflix romance all mashed together in the most delightful way. It had some spice that I wasn’t expecting but made it more fun. The characters were fantastic. Like I need Lorenzo but also won’t mind have Nonna as well. I loved Summer growth and Cara’s honesty. It just felt so real. I wish I could start from scratch and reread it all over again. Also OLIVE OIL FARM, this was beyond creative to me. I’m so used to reading about falling in love at a winery.

If you are a fan of Letters to Juliet, this book made me feel the same way that movie did

To Summer, this is just what she needs and I was so happy that she can finally find a place, or rather someone to be rooted to! The Italian language is pure hotness 🔥 and makes me root for the couple to finally end up together, just like meddling but loving Nonna Rossi. The author also expertly invokes memories of my long-ago trip to Florence and Pisa throughout the book.

This story focuses on Summer, who is in her mid-thirties and on a whim books a single bike trip to Italy. She is hoping to find something other than bad dates and a mundane job. A bike accident and another leap of faith have her staying in Italy for the summer with the Rossi olive oil family.

Overall, this is a light summer read, with all the key elements: scenic backdrop, hot Italian guy, FMC trying to find herself and of course family drama. The main love story really felt like insta love for me and that was a little hard to believe. I would have liked a little more development of their relationship. I loved the Rossi family, they are great and remind me of my own Italian family! If you need something light, a palate cleanser or beach read definitely give this one a try. I also now want to learn how to speak fluent Italian!
