I enjoyed this book. It follows Summer who, after an awful date, drunkenly books a bike tour through Tuscany. Since she craves an escape from her tenuous relationship with her mom, she decides to embrace the opportunity. Then, after a biking accident, she's forced to spend time in small town, where she finds the charming Rossi Family Olive Farm. When she meet Lorenzo Rossi, the hot and charming Italian man, she takes a chance on a summer fling; but it quickly turns to more. But when things go awry at home, Summer is forced to choose between her duty and her heart.

This was a decent book. I thought that the bike tour was going to be a much larger part of the story, but the romance was truly the main focus. That's not a bad thing, but for the middle part of the story, which was the bulk of it, it didn't have any plot other than forced moments to push the main characters together, which just didn't have a point for the plot. I did love the Italian culture and language aspects.

For fans of the film Under the Tuscan Sun, this story is a must read.
The main character Summer Andrews is an unlucky in love character, who after yet, another unsuccessful date, drowns herself in sorrow and watches Under the Tuscan Sun and decides to book a holiday in Tuscany. When she realises what she's done the next day, she decides to go for it and see what happens.
What happens is that we, the reader are taken on an amazing, beautiful adventure with Summer

Delightful easy read to feel a little romance and learn about Italy at the same time.
Summer is stuck in a boring job and life when she drunkenly signs up for a singles bike tour in Italy. Both her mother and best friend are shocked but she goes anyway leaving alcoholic mother Barbara to stay at her apartment.
After a fall and broken thumb on the bike trip she takes a job at a olive farm where she learns Italian, makes new friends, acquires a lover and begins to really enjoy life.

I did enjoyed reading this book.

Summer gets so drunk one night that she books and pays for completely a holiday in Italy (I admit I cannot imagine someone so drunk as to function enough to research, buy and speak to people on the phone, and then not remember anything about that the following morning).
Anyway, she goes to Italy, has an accident that prevents her from finishing the tour, and decides to stay there.
Of course, she meets an old lady that gives her house and a job and she gets to stay in a lovely town where she meets adorable people and the love of her life.

As a rom-com, it checks all the boxes. The girl is kind of lost in life, her love interest is handsome, manly, but open about his feelings, the old lady is both charming and "scary", the surroundings are perfect.
I would have liked to see a bit more depth in the characters. I think her mother's drinking issues are just decorative and treated lightly, just the conflict needed to separate the couple.

Other than that, it serves its purpose and is entertaining.

I’ll confess I don’t read nearly as many romance novels as I do mysteries and thrillers. However this story was such a pleasant surprise! This was also my first novel experience by Sophie Sinclair, and her writing is beautiful, descriptive, and kept my attention the entire story. The character development was wonderful, and my heart was literally aching for them throughout the story. I was very pleased with the ending as well, and look forward to more books by this author. I absolutely loved it!

A great story . Summer a young woman who has just had a very bad date ends up books a singles-only bike tour through Tuscany after she drunk two bottles of wine last night . When she realises that she has to go to Italy she is sure that it is fate to meet the love of her life . The first few day while riding she makes two good friends but she ends up with a hurting her thump so she has to stop from riding . She doesn't want to go home yet so she il looking for a job in the area and the only one she can work is at the Rossi Olive Farm . Their she meets with Nonna Rossi a very special woman so let stay at her house . Later she meets Lorenzo the sexy grandson and she is smitten with him . They both feel these connection but they know she will leave at the end of the summer . Will they give themselves a chance to fall in love despite everything ?

I could picture the farm, I could taste the food. It is beautifully written stories like this that take me on a journey without leaving my home.

I loved the vivid descriptions of Tuscany! (It’s on my bucket list to visit some day). This book was about self discovery and had a blend of romance as well. It was a delightful read!

Lost in Tuscany treats us to Summer, who has drunkenly planned a trip to Italy. She is going solo and makes the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity. When Summer’s path leads her to the Rossi Olive Farm, she meets Lorenzo Rossi and begs the question - Is love a possibility? Can Summer trust herself and heart to this Italian family? Found family meets obligation to home and family in a way that felt relatable. I found myself cheering for Summer and that she’d be able to have the love she deserves.

Within the first chapter of Lost In Tuscany, I knew I would fall in love with this story as soon as it mentioned one of my favourite movies, Under The Tuscan Sun. I love a story where the protagonist seizes a moment, flings themselves into an adventure, and rediscovers/reinvents themselves. Stories of transformation are powerful and inspiring and fill me with hope, especially with a protagonist who's an older female character. I feel like in the world of fiction, everyone is stuck under the age of 35. I immediately fell in love with the protagonist, Summer Andrews, a character who loves Under the Tuscan Sun, who is my type of gal.

Summer Andrews finds her inner Frances to channel to make her own Under the Tuscan Sun adventure come true with a smaller-scale house remodeling. She falls in love with her quintessential enigmatic, handsome Italian boss, Lorenzo Rossi, while working on his family's Olive farm. The romance is full of sweet, adorable moments as they try to resist the attraction with a perfect balance of allure and tension. As their connection deepens, their relationship heats up a bit of spice, and all things are nice.

Sophie Sinclar brings to life the essence of Tuscany with her gorgeous writing with incredible accuracy, immersing the reader into the Tuscan landscape filled with rolling hills and patchwork countryside home to vineyards, olive groves, and charming villages. You can feel the sun on your face, smell the aroma of all the vividly described cooking that will make your mouth water, and soak in the soul of Tuscan's magical light around sunset and the golden glow that traverses across the landscape like a sea of liquid gold.

Her storytelling blends heart-warming romance, complex troubles of human relationships, pain and trauma that can inflict on us, and the strife of doing our duty and longing for the freedom to cast off our chains to follow our heart to deliver a charming, emotional, and engaging tale.
One qualm I have with all these books about moving or going to run off to another country in fiction – immigration and border control don't seem to exist or mind these characters flitting off to live and work anywhere they please. If only life were like that.

Lost In Tuscany is pure escapism – a charming, heart-warming romance that basks in the glow of the beautiful scenery of the Tuscan landscape. I drank this book up. The writing was excellent, sparkling and fun, and the descriptions of Italy brought the country to life. I will be dreaming of lasagne under a starry Italian sky until I can make it a reality.

Adorable! What a perfect read on my flight to Florence before spending a week in a Tuscan villa! The vivid descriptions made me feel like I was already there. I want to eat everything Flora cooked and be loved by the whole Rossi family. A charming novel perfect for fans of under the Tuscan sun.

'Older' main characters running away and re-inventing themselves? Sign me up! My expectations for Lost in Tuscany were sky high, and boy did Sophie Sinclair ever meet every single of my expectations. This is without a doubt the perfect summer romance!

A woman drunkenly signs up for a singles bike tour of Italy?! Sounds like my ideal romcom novel.

Unfortunately I wasn’t even 30% into the book and the bike tour was over?!?! All of a sudden the plot switched gears and it was all about the female MC staying in Italy and being stuck in this old farmhouse with a grumpy son of the landlord? Still a good storyline but completely left field from the start.

I also didn’t like anything about the characters. The female was way too obsessed with love and not being single which came across as clingy and desperate. Her best friend was annoying and completely unsupportive and the male character and his whole family was just way too over the top and trusting.
Overall, it had great potential but didn’t work for me at all

Honestly did not want this book to end! It was the perfect book to read this summer. I was purposely riding this book out because I didn’t want it to end. The first time in a while that a book made a movie in my head. I loved everything about this! Who wouldn’t want to say F it and book a trip to Italy and end up falling in love?? Barbara got on my nerves though, but I’m glad she got better!

This story focuses on Summer, who is in her mid-thirties and on a whim books a single bike trip to Italy. She is hoping to find something other than bad dates and a mundane job. A bike accident and another leap of faith have her staying in Italy for the summer with the Rossi olive oil family.

Overall, this is a light summer read, with all the key elements: scenic backdrop, hot Italian guy, FMC trying to find herself and of course family drama. The main love story really felt like insta love for me and that was a little hard for me to believe. I would have liked a little more development of their relationship. I loved the Rossi family, they are great and remind me of my own Italian family! If you need something light and a palate cleanser or beach read definitely give this one a try. I also now want to learn how to speak fluent Italian!
