Thank you to Leah Cupps and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book early!

I loved the setting in this book!! From the moment I read the synopsis I knew I had to read it because it was set in Montana where I also have a house. The setting is on a lake in Montana (hello summer vibes) that is also on a remote island. Or is it really remote?!

Natalie and Hudson book a romantic weekend getaway on a private island in Montana. It is everything that Natalie wanted-- secluded to spend time with her boyfriend, rugged, and beautiful.

The short chapters made it really easy to devour this book in a short time frame. I was constantly sneaking in just a chapter to know what happened. I loved the two points of view so we could really see the plot build between the characters. While I did not love any of the characters very much, I did find the book enjoyable and easy to read. The plot connected and the story line all wrapped up in the end.

I liked this one. The twists and turns were wild. I adore stranded in an island novels. This was well told with some dark secrets kept causing chaos to ensue. You think this story is going one way and then it flips wildly. I found this to be a great easy read with just enough excitement and thrill to keep me reading. A great beach read!

I really like how this book was broken up into three parts first was the view of the girlfriend Natalie then Vivian then both as a dual POV. I thought this was really refreshing and very enjoyable! I liked the eeriness of the first part and how it built up the anticipation. The second part explained and built up further excitement. I enjoyed the third part but it felt like there could have been some more suspense and excitement at the end but I in general thoroughly enjoyed this book and plan to read other works by Leah Cupps

Thank you to NetGalley, author Leah Cupps, and publisher Inkubator for an advanced reader’s copy for an honest review!

Natalie and her husband book a romantic getaway on a private island. Soon they find out they’re not alone on the island and when Natalie finds a secret diary from a missing dead woman, things only take a turn for the worst. Is history about to repeat itself or will everyone make it off the island?

Honestly, for me, the book didn’t start catching my attention until I got to the second part where the you hear a different side of the story. You can start piecing things together and the story comes along better. The main characters were described and made out to be shallow, but there was character development throughout the book I admired. I also thought the the diary entries were a good move, they captured my attention.

From the beginning it was cliche and you could almost predict what was going on due to the nature of the writing and the genre. The writing felt almost amateur to me but the story kept my attention enough to continue reading. Some of the twists actually surprised me in the end. There is an epilogue that gives you insight on a major issue that kept getting brought up during the book, that I personally feel could’ve been said in the actual book but to each their own. If you like thriller/mysteries and enjoy a quick read, this is definitely for you.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC.

Thank you NetGalley for this arc!

For the first half of this book, I was convinced I knew what was happening and that it was so predictable. The second half however came as a huge twist. Extremely fast paced, little unbalanced.

I would like to thank NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book before publication in exchange for my honest review.

I was super excited when I saw the cover of this book. I was always told growing up that if a book had a blue background with yellow writing, it would be spectacular. I am not sure how this though process came about, but so far every book that I have read with a blue background and yellow writing has been amazing.

This is the first book I have read by Leah Cupps, and id definitely won't be my last. I think she is now one of my new automatic buy authors. This book had me wanting to not put it down, in fact, I was so involved in this book that I read it in one sitting. There were a lot of twists and turns like you would expect a thriller to have, even though I predicted some of them. The characters were loveable and easy to relate to, which made this a very intriguing read.

Overall, this book is a captivating read with all the elements of an amazing thriller. If you are a fan of not only thrillers, but psychological thrillers, you will absolutely love this book.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank NetGalley, Inkubator Books, and Leah Cupps for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

If you liked Gone Girl, then I think you'll certainly like You Are Not Alone. Natalie and Hudson are on a secluded island in Montana for a romantic getaway when things start to go awry. Natalie finds a mysterious diary told from the POV of a missing woman, leading Natalie to believe they are staying in her house. The twists and turns in this book are sure to keep you on your toes.

The narrative is gripping, with an eerie atmosphere that enhances the sense of suspense. Cupps' writing is engaging, drawing readers into the mystery with well-crafted tension and a compelling storyline. The discovery of the diary and the unraveling of its secrets add a layer of intrigue that keeps the pages turning.

However, I did find the story to be a bit predictable at times, but entertaining nonetheless. A lot of the twists in this thriller did indeed surprise me, even though some were anticipated. The characters are well-developed, and their dynamics add depth to the plot, making it a captivating read.

Overall, You Are Not Alone is an enjoyable thriller with a mix of predictable and surprising elements that will appeal to fans of psychological suspense.

4/5 stars. I received this ARC from NetGalley. It's a great mystery thriller. I didn’t expect the twist. Vivian becoming Natalie’s assistant is wild. She really is so manipulative. The final showdown was great. I was on the edge of my seat. The epilogue also surprised me. I didn’t think John knew about her killing Tess. Overall great, fast-paced book.

This was a fast-paced, fairly entertaining thriller. The premise sounded like it'd be claustrophobic in a fun way. And it was at times. I was definitely curious about how things would turn out.

On the bright side, this story is easy to read and flies by, even though it isn't particularly twisty or action-packed. My main issue with it was that all of the characters are unlikable. Natalie was the only one I had any sympathy for and even that was limited.

I read an ARC of this book from NetGalley. All comments are my own.

This was a really great thriller. I could actually visualize all the places and felt like I was there.
Just when I thought I had it figured out, there were a couple of twists in the end that I didn’t expect.
I liked how vulnerable the main character is in the beginning and what a strong woman she becomes at the end. The book flowed nicely throughout and I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and look forward to reading another book by this author.

This was an easy to read, fast-paced thriller about a couple that go on a romantic getaway to a private island, but find out they are not alone. I felt the story came together well and had a good level of suspense, mystery, and thrill. The ending was well thought out with everything explained and making sense at the end of the story. This was a fun and enjoyable read!

After what begins as a romantic weekend away and potential proposal on the horizon, Tess realizes she is trapped on an island. Feeling watched and finding a missing woman's diary, she begins to feel uneasy. When a storm knocks out the power, things only get worse. I was so drawn into this novel at the beginning and was getting Verity vibes reading another woman's diary. Once I got to part three however, I was wondering how everything would get tied up. The main plot got muddled by the third character (no spoilers) in my opinion. Overall, it was good, but just wasn't my favorite ending.

If you want a quick, thriller read that doesn't break your brain, read this. I was in a bit of a reading slump and this got me back up and running. I appreciated it being a quick read but I think it had opportunity to be fleshed out.

Overall, straight to the point mystery thriller. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of a remote island and really felt the 'oh crap, we're stuck here' feeling.

I can't wait to read more of Leah Cupps!

3.5 stars. This is a pretty straight forward thriller. There isn't much to try to deduce once you get to the half way point. You find out exactly what is going on and you just sit back and watch it all come together. It was definitely an enjoyable way to spend a few reading hours.
