As someone who volunteers as a cat cuddler, ai can say it has its hazards, but fun.

I'll admit as fun as the book is, the illustrations are the best part. Everything meshed so well together, but they sold the book for me.

Entertaining and educational. I was surprised by the array of jobs—some absolutely necessary, others a bit comical. Great art and a clean, aesthetically pleasing layout.

This book was a fun read and a good learning experience.

An adorable picture book that explores unusual jobs. The pages are set up as job advertisements.
When I looked at this book and description, I was under the impression that there would be details about the work of each job. However, it is only a brief synopsis of what each job entails, and a good portion of the time the information is phrased as what the reader should like to do the job. While this makes for a quick and easy read for young children, it does not provide a great deal of facts.
This book is definitely fun with lots of love for animals. It is great in that it encourages children to think outside the box of what jobs they may consider doing one day!

What an interesting premise for a children's book. Kids are always intrigued by animals and this book gives them 28 fun jobs that involve animal care, training, and interactions. Each page shares a job title, short job description and adorable and engaging illustrations. The jobs shared involve a variety of pets, wildlife and zoo animals. Children can read the entire book or just read the jobs that interest them. It would be a great book to read with adult and discuss job descriptions and traits needed to do those jobs well. I would recommend this for kids ages 6-9 who love all kinds of animals.

Super fun and cute book! I assume that all of the jobs in this book are legitimate professions, which makes this book both highly entertaining and educational. This book will no doubt keep kids entertained for hours. This is due to the author's fun and informal (in a good way) writing style, and the illustrator's attention to detail (ex. funny bits of dialogue or animals in the background doing things). Additionally, every page was organized very nicely. I didn't feel overwhelmed or uninterested at any point in the book, and I really enjoyed reading this book. "Snake Milker and Other Animal Jobs" will definitely inspire kids to become invested in animal-related jobs and will quickly become a favorite.

Overall a bit disappointed with this book. I think I expected a lot more interesting and unique jobs, like the snake milker, but most of the jobs were focused on pets. Not sure I consider an animal taxi driver all that interest as an animal-related job. There were a few that were expected and interesting, but most felt like the author was reaching. The illustrations are nice, and the information was well presented. I am not, however, sure this would be all that great a book for the target demographic. And if it's an older child using this to help inform them, I'm not really sure it captured that.

I give this one 3 stars for the illustration and the concept. Execution was just meh.

Cute, funny, and educational.

This book goes through different jobs that people have to help care of animals of any variety from being a snake milker to a pet dentist. Some of the jobs I have heard of before that were just renamed to be funny and interesting, but others I have not. Its always a plus when I am reading my kids something and learn something myself.

My family loves to read things that are fun and educational and this book makes a good fit for us. Some of the jobs sound silly, some of them I have never heard of before, but for every job, the author provides a job description. The appearance is fun and bright and set up like a job search forum.

This book is like a job posting board for people who like working with animals. It’s not very in depth, but definitely provides some interesting jobs that I had never heard of and my kids found highly entertaining. It would have been nice to see some real world examples or photos, but it was a cute read.

Read with my 7 year old who loves animals. There were many jobs described here that we've never heard of so that was really fun. The illustrations are beautiful and kept our attention. Will be reading again and again!

Snake Milker and Other Animal Jobs is a picture book that takes you through all sorts of fun animal professions (some more likely to find in the real world than others lol).

The illustrations in this book were SO cute, & I was immediately drawn in by the adorableness of the animals. This isn't a book with a plot, just a list of animal professions. It is super fun though! I can see how little animal lovers would immediately fall in love with this one!

My kids absolutely LOVED this book! It was so cute and fun! We loved the adventure the characters took us on. The illustrations were really cute. I highly recommend adding this to your bedtime books.
