I really liked the idea of this recipe book with recipes based on colour, seasonal availability and intuitive eating. I also liked that this felt like a recipe book with simple enough recipes that you could use them when cooking on a weeknight - nothing felt too extreme or complicated, which is great for an amateur cook. I especially loved the Winter recipes which focused a lot on root vegetables and were great comfort food dishes, although I also like the recipe for the Carnitas Tacos and the Wild Rice Salad. The only thing I can complain about is that because I got a copy of this on my Kindle, which is ancient, I didn't get the visual benefit of the accompanying images as all the photos ended up in black and white.
Great seasonal recipes. 4 stars.
