A Catholic Woman's Book of Days, written by Amy Welborn, is a beautiful daily devotional. It follows the calendar year, and has a quote and reflection for each day. I appreciated that it was specifically written for women, I believe that there are certain verses where different groups would benefit in different ways from reading them, and I found this book being written for a specific population helpful. I also appreciated that the book recognizes different Holy Days, as well as ways that we can incorporate prayer and reflection in our daily life. I definitely recommend this book!
Thank you to NetGalley, and to the author and publisher of this book for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I remember growing up that my mom had a book of Catholic devotions that she read daily, and I have recently become interested in doing the same. Having a book of daily prayers and moments of thought is something I know a lot of women are interested in, especially mothers who are seeking out some quiet time before the children wake up. This book offers quick devotional readings that can be read 1 page each day, or as a resource for quiet contemplation.

I recommend this for churches, and as a gift.

I love daily devotionals. We spend so much of our lives drowning in our earthly concerns and worries that it's difficult to find the grace within to connect to God on a meaningful level. That's where devotionals come in. They offer a helping hand, giving us brief pockets of peace and wisdom - life preservers for our everyday lives.

A Catholic Woman's Book of Days is a great start if you want to start a habit of reading daily devotionals. I found the Scripture extracts to be meaningful and topical, Amy's writing encouraging and her prayers simple yet effective.

This devotional book by Amy Welborn is a short and beautiful book for Catholic women on-the-go who are seeking to immerse themselves in Scripture each day but do not have a lot of time. I like the format of a small amount of Scripture paired with a brief reflection and a short prayer that can be said in a breathe or even repeated multiple times per day. I think that Catholic women will find a lot to reflect upon in these pages!

Thank you to NetGalley for a review copy of this beautiful book.

This was fine. I do love that it was Catholic based, that each day started with a verse and ended in a short prayer. However, I didn't find that I gleaned anything remarkable from the blurb in the middle.

Amy Wellborn has penned a thoughtful devotional with an entry for every day of the year. The reflections are short but powerful. Each day has a verse, a reflection, and then a single prayer. The entries are based on her experience as a woman, a mom, a believer and i found myself able to relate often. I like that the entries can be read in a single sitting and can easily fit into any moment of the day.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own, freely given.

I couldn’t wait to try this book! So far it seems interesting. I really like that for everyday of the year, there is a daily meditation. A lot of material that is out is more for Christians and I always wished for more Catholic.

I hope to keep up everyday with the meditations so far, I am enjoying them.

Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this e-ARC.

I felt like I couldn’t connect with the daily words of wisdom in this devotional. It just felt too short or incomplete for me. I appreciate the opportunity to read it though.

Although the formatting was off and made reading the ARC difficult, the devotionals were well written. I will definitely purchase this book once published.

Thank you to NetGalley and Loyola Press for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Formatting was off and made it difficult to read. Aside from that, if you’re a reflection kind of prayer person this is for you. Quick and short reflections, prayers and Bible verses are relevant and made specifically for Catholic mothers.

It was hard to read, the format isn't sent up nicely and I couldn't find contents to navigate through.

There were no page breaks, and wasn't easy to read it.
The I looked like numbers, and was messing up the page layout.

I would love to read it once it's formatted, don't like giving negative ratings to a spiritual book
