Katee Robert is one of my absolute favorite spicy authors, so I jumped at the opportunity to read her contemporary romance. This series is hot and steamy from the first chapter and the scenes well written. The plot was kinda predictable, but still enjoyable. My only qualm with this book is that it’s books 3 & 4 of the original interconnected standalone series and I felt like I was missing info. Thankfully I also have Forbidden Games in the queue so I won’t be missing out for very long.
This installment includes:
Make Me Yours
A one night after her sister’s wedding goes horribly wrong for Becca. Tropes-Insta Lust, pregnancy, commitment issues. Spice:🌶🌶🌶
Make Me Need
Starting a new job at your brothers company while he takes paternity leave has its perks for Trish especially when it comes with an added bonus, a sexy second boss. Tropes- forbidden love. Spice: 🌶🌶.5
Seriously, Katee is one of my new favorite authors. But ......where's my epilogue for Trish and Cameron's story?!?!! I NEED MY EPILOGUE!
So good, kept my attention. Loved that the girls were just as skittish and nervous as the guys and I loved the dual POV!
Definitely binge-worthy, definitely cannot wait to read the others in the series.
Illicit Temptations by Katee Robert is the two stories previously released Make Me Yours and Make Me Need now all under the same book.
Make Me Yours tells the story of Becka who meets Aaron at a wedding and they have a quick fling. However, a few weeks later when Becka has a positive pregnancy test these total opposites need to co exist and learn how to be before their child comes into the world.
Make Me Need tells the story of Trish, Aaron's sister, and Cam, Aaron's business partner. Trish moves out of her parents house and lands a job at Aaron's and Cam's company, however her and Cam are too attracted to each other and after one kiss it is hard for them to fight this attraction and keep the relationship strictly professional.
I liked how both stories had dual POVs, I love multiple POVs and I think it was a good idea making both books into one as the characters are somewhat present in both stories. Of the two I liked better Make Me Need, even though as a character wise my favourite was I Aaron. I am just not truly fond of pregnancy trope, to be honest was my first time reading this type of trope so I had no idea I would not enjoy as much.
Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Romance for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Two relatively quick stories from Katee Robert. I can't say this was her best work or my most favourite of hers, but they were quick and had happily ever after's so that's good enough for me!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.
Illicit Temptation by Katee Robert is a fast-paced, steamy contemporary romance that dives into the themes of forbidden attraction, family dynamics, and the line between love and loyalty. I am a sucker for family sagas! The book is part of Robert's The O'Malley Family series, known for its dark, suspenseful elements mixed with intense romantic chemistry.
enjoyed this a lot, but, in hindsight, the stories all run together for me. Most of the stories in this series felt too similar, so none really stood out.
I love a good 2-for-1 book, so these spicy short stories delivered on that. They are very fast paced - almost unrealistically fast, and I enjoyed the second of the two more. Grumpy boss meets sweet employee. There is a little cross over in characters (related) but can be read separately.
I would have liked to rate this higher, but felt that there could have been so much more to each story.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin-Romance for this arc in return for my honest review.

I really liked these two romance novellas put into one book. Each story had good romance, some smut, and a guy who was completely in love and willing to do anything for his girl. However, because these are short, the relationships had some insta love vibes, which was more present in the second novella. I’m not the biggest fan of insta love, but I still enjoyed these stories. I will definitely be reading the next ones!
Overall, I liked these two novellas and recommend them!

Illicit Temptations is two novellas in one book as part of the Make Me series by Katee Robert. This is a steamy romance story.
Book #1 focuses on Aaron and Becka. After a one night stand at her sister’s wedding, Becka discovers weeks later she is pregnant. Her one night stand wasn’t quite a stranger but her new brother in law’s business associate.
Becka never wanted to have kids but after deciding to keep the baby, let’s Aaron know. Aaron moves her into his home and they slowly start to build a relationship, learning to love each other before the baby arrives.
Book #2 focuses on Aaron’s sister Trish and his very rough around the edges business partner Cameron. Trish sees herself as a bit of a failure and needs this job at her brother’s company even if it means putting up with Cameron.
While Aaron is off for a few weeks when his baby arrives, Cameron and Trish need to travel to London for a client that’s looking at a large contract. Trish can’t mess this up but spending this much time with Cameron is impossible.
Trish is sunny and Cameron is the definition of grumpy but he can’t seem to get enough of Trish’s sunshine. After a brief affair in London they wonder how this relationship will work when they are back to reality.
Both stories were steamy, hot and straight to the point! I enjoyed the novella’s, with being shorter than a typical novel there wasn’t enough space for multiple miscommunications or breakups. I enjoyed both and the chemistry between the characters is spot on. This is a 4 star read for me!
Disclaimer: I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This bind up of book is that contains two tropes unexpected pregnancy and best friends sister along with work place romance now both of these stories are spicy so if spicy not your thing then probably stay away. With that said did I like the stories yes are they a masterwork no but it some fun smut reading while my little one naps so momma happy with that I give it 4 stars
This duology dives into the lives of two women, Becca and Trish, whose stories are both refreshingly real and packed with unexpected turns. Neither of their lives has unfolded quite as they dreamed, but as each navigates her own set of challenges, things start to fall into place in ways they never saw coming. With fantastic chemistry, just the right amount of spice, and vividly crafted scenes, these books keep you hooked from start to finish. The plot is both engaging and satisfying, with enough depth to make their journeys feel authentic and relatable. It’s a great read that balances heat and heart beautifully!
3.5⭐, 2.5🌶️
I know I'm just being bitter, but WHY publish two books that were 4 previously published novellas....and publish books #3 & #4 BEFORE books #1 & #2. Im flabbergasted by that and don't understand this publishing decision?!
Part 1: Make Me Yours: 3⭐
💙One Night Stand
💜Accidental Pregnancy
I unfortunatley was not a fan of Becka and Aaron's relationship but is disappointing because I love accidental pregnancy books. The third act break-up/ resolution was meh for me. I really don't have much to say because I didn't like this couple and would like to move on lol.
Part 2: Make Me Need: 4⭐
I enjoyed this book more than book one of this duet set. I loved seeing Cameron's grumpiness melt away for Trish. I liked her finding her own as an adult in this book and the relationship was cute, and the perfect amount of drama for a novella this length.
💜Workplace/ Boss Romance
💙Co-workers Daughter
💜 Grumpy x Sunshine
Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin- Romance for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I was able to read this because NetGalley provided with an arc. I loved this romance. Great Read. I would read more by this author.

Make Me Yours (4⭐️)
-Accidental Pregnancy
-One Night Stand
-Opposites Attract
I love a good accidental pregnancy story! Aaron and Becka were hot and I loved their banter! High chemistry with a swoony MMC, what more could you ask for? I liked seeing these two make plans for the baby and make space in each others lives.
Make Me Need (4.5 ⭐️)
-Boss x Employee
-Grumpy x Sunshine
-Forced Proximity
Of the two novellas in this book, I liked Cameron and Trish best! Honestly I’m a sucker for grumpy men and workplace romances so I ate this one up in a day. Trish was very intriguing to me and I could relate to her plenty! Cameron was a surprise because I wasn’t keen on the story until I read it! The way he was gone for Trish stole my heart!

"I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Illicit Temptations' by Katee Robert who I adored. This book combines two previously published stories, 'Make Me Yours' and 'Make Me Need,' into a single publication that allows readers to enjoy both stories one after the other. The first novella introduces Becka and Aaron, whose sexy one-night stand leads to a complicated situation when she becomes pregnant.
In the second novella, we follow Trish and Cameron, navigating the dynamics of a grumpy boss and a charming secretary (Grumpy/Sunshine).Both novellas are easy, quick, and enjoyable reads. I know that a lot of readers do not enjoy the accidental pregnancy trope, but this one was done very well.
Overall, 'Illicit Temptations' is a nice read that offers engaging characters and compelling storylines that the reader will truly enjoy.
4.25 Stars!

Do you need the pregnancy trope right now? Then go no further than Illicit Temptations. I knew I was in for a wild ride when the first chapter has two sexy AF MCs who hook up at the wedding of her sister and his best friend. They go separate ways, only to have to meet up a few months later when they found that not only did the condom fail, but her birth control failed.
This book is full of drama and heartache and plenty of spice in all the right places. This read was heartfelt and down to earth, and I will definitely be reading more of Katee Robert's stuff!
This two-for-one combo of novellas by Katee Robert delivers a mix of drama and steamy romance, each with its own unique flavor.
The first novella in Illicit Temptations kicks off with a surprise baby trope following a hot and steamy one-night stand. The chemistry between the FMC and MMC is intense, and the unexpected pregnancy adds a layer of drama as they navigate their unsettled relationship. The emotional stakes are high, but the drama sometimes feels a bit much. There’s little growth throughout—both characters remain stuck in their ways until the typical big argument, leading to the predictable "uh-oh, what did I do?" moment and an eventual realization of love, ending with a happy-ever-after. The epilogue, though, is a nice addition that ties the story together.
In the second novella, we see familiar characters from the first story stepping into the spotlight. Their background is already laid out, so the focus shifts to their evolving dynamics. This novella brings in a mix of the grumpy/sunshine and boss/employee tropes, with an insta-lust vibe driving the characters' attraction. Though I enjoyed this story more than the first, it still felt like a bit of a struggle to get into and stay captivated by.
Katee Robert’s writing style is easy to read, but the modern tone in Illicit Temptations doesn’t hit as hard as in her fantasy novels. The contemporary setting feels less immersive, and while the tone is accessible, it lacks the escapism that makes her fantasy works so engaging. For fans of her fantasy stories, the drama here may feel a little less compelling.
Thank you, Net Galley and Publishers, for letting me read an arc of this book in return for an honest review.
Illicit Temptations is a steamy dual-narrative that had me turning pages late into the night! Katee Robert delivers two tantalizing stories that explore the fine line between desire and complications, and I was here for every moment.
In "Make Me Yours," Becka Baudin is a force to be reckoned with. She’s determined to keep her freedom while diving into a whirlwind affair with Aaron Livingston. But when a pregnancy test turns her world upside down, things get real complicated. I loved how their opposites-attract dynamic unfolded, and the tension between wanting independence and navigating an unexpected relationship was expertly handled. Their chemistry is palpable, making every scene electric!
Then we dive into "Make Me Need," where Trish Livingston finds herself in a sticky situation with her brother’s best friend, Cameron O’Clery. The tension between them is intense, and I couldn’t help but love the push and pull of their relationship. Cameron’s grumpy exterior hides a fire that Trish is determined to ignite, and their slow-burn romance is filled with sparks and witty banter.
Katee Robert masterfully balances humor and heat while exploring the complexities of love and commitment. If you’re looking for a book that blends steamy encounters with emotional depth, Illicit Temptations is a must-read!
Two spicy novellas in one book! Both are contemporary and have some minor overlap of characters but each is their own story. These are short sweet spicy stories and they deliver everything they promise.

I really enjoyed both of the stories and loved that they were interconnected as well. I more so enjoy Katee Robert's romantasy novels, but these contemporary romance short stories were well-written too!
