Another incredibly written spicy book from the great Katee Robert. I am convinced that they could rewrite a phone book and make it sexy.

Hello Katee Robert! You have done it again!

Another instant favorite. Full of forbidden tropes, characters that make you either love or hate them, and the perfect escape from reality.

Aaron and Becka
The story of Aaron and Becka is unexpected pregnancy. Usually I am not a fan of this trope, but I enjoyed it in this book. I think I may have enjoyed it because it was so short and therefore did not drag on for 300+ pages. I found it interesting that this was the first story in the series as all of the other couples are paired off and we learn about how they got together after.

Aaron and Becka are an opposites attract story. He is all business and she is more free spirited. Their chemistry though is off the charts from their first interaction at the wedding. These two make each other better and you can tell that they have so much love for each other and their baby. They, mainly Becka, have a lot of obstacles to overcome. She comes from a family that let her down except for her sister. Because of that it is clear that she has insecurities when it comes to relationships and being a mother herself. Aaron thought is the perfect partner for this. He is patient yet pushes her when needed. It is clear that he is a dependable partner and will be a dependable partner.

Cameron and Trish
This is the brother best friend trope. Cameron is Aarons business partner and best friend from college. Trish is Aaron's younger sister who is a bit adrift. She takes a job with Aaron, thus putting her in contact with Cameron. Immediately these two are attracted to one another, though they try their best to ignore it since they work together and due to their respective relationships with Aaron. However, when they have to take a business trip to London together that all comes crumbling down.

Cameron is more of a standoffish character who doesn't do well in social situations. He tends to be very blunt and say what is on his mind and therefore people find him rude and offensive. He finds his perfect match with Trish who is patient and can be just as crass when it comes to speaking her mind. The two of them don't have to be afraid about what they say to one another because they understand each other on a deeper level.

Trish just wants to be free metaphorically. She feels like she is a constant failure because she is a 24 year old who's plans after college did not pan out. She doesn't want to feel like a burden or ask for help. You can tell how much she loves Cameron, but she is afraid that loving him will hold her back. That is where the conflict arises. Eventually though, Cameron let's her fly and follows her as opposed to making her give up her goals to be with him.

As with anything written by Katee Robert, the spice and chemistry is off the charts. I loved how short and sweet these were and even though there was spice it was still very much plot driven.

This is being re-released first but IMHO it should be read after "Forbidden Games", the set of 2 stories in Katee Robert's "Make Me" series which include the first two friends to hook up. These two stories are not as strong as the previous ones, though I suppose they are more standalone than those in Forbidden Games.

In illicit Temptations, the first story includes Aaron, a successful businessman, who meets Becka, the "free spirt" friend and relation of the characters in the stories in "Forbidden Games". They have a one night stand and Becka gets pregnant. She tries to do it all herself but Aaron gets involved. The entire story is him trying to convince Becka that they should be together. I enjoyed the story, but I didn't really feel like Aaron having to tiptoe around Becka the entire time was a very compelling story. Oh, and meanwhil they had sex everywhere at any time.

The second story is Aaron's sister who needs a job, so Aaron offers her the role of assistant in his business. Trish (awful name) gets to know "Cameron O"Cleary" (who is Afircan American with a super Irish name) while Aaron is off on paternity leave. Even though Trish is a strong woman and seems to be able to handle herself, this story is again Cameron having to tiptoe around her and convince her they should be togehter.

Overall I enjoyed the stories, but there wasn't much to them, and I don't konw that I'd necessarily recommend them to anyone who isn't a Katee Robert superfan.

I received an advanced copy and am giving an honest review.

This was excellent from beginning to end! I loved "Make Me Yours" the most out of the two novellas. Katee Robert's writing style is lovely and I love her characters.

Not a fav :( I tried so hard to get into this book but I found the FMC to be sooo annoying. I kept reading hoping it would get better but was disappointed. As a result, I was no longer interested in reading the rest. I DNF at 52%

Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this e-ARC.

Some of the tropes in this one aren't my personal favorite, but it's still a fun and easy read with two stories to get through. Katee Robert is always an insta-read author for me and I'm glad I got to try this out!

Illicit Temptations is the duology for the novels Me Yours and Make Me Need by Katee Robert.

Make Me Yours (Surprise Pregnancy)

One-night stands can end up being the gift that keeps on giving. For Becka Bauldin and Aaron Livingston, hooking up after a wedding gives them the gift of a baby. This pregnancy causes them to move in together to ensure that Becka can have a trouble-free pregnancy. Unfortunately for them both, Becka and Aaron know next to nothing about each other outside of how good they can make each other feel in bed.
This was such a cute story of two people trying to figure out how to do life together under extreme circumstances. They don’t have time for the niceties of getting to know each other slowly with the changes coming at them so quickly.

Make Me Need (Brother’s Best friend)

Falling in love is never easy, especially when the object of your desire is your new boss. This situation is especially trying when he’s also your older brother’s business partner and best friend. Trish and Cameron have been forced together after several failed attempts to find Cameron the prefect assistant to run the front office for the he and Aaron’s Cyber Security firm. In a last ditch effort Aaron recommends his newly graduated sister Trish for the position. In short order sparks are flying between Cam and Trish. The two end up falling into bed with each other on a business trip and struggle to figure out how to make their new relationship work.

I enjoyed getting the opportunity to read this duology with Make ME yours being my favorite between the two stories.

I was so excited for the re-release of this series since I've been going through Katee Robert's backlist. This book contains two novellas: the first follows Becka and Aaron, the second follows Trish and Cameron. Becka and Aaron have a quick fling, that results in an unexpected pregnancy. I never thought I'd be into the pregnancy trope, but this was pretty cute. They're definitely an opposites-attract, and I loved getting to know them. Trish is Aaron's little sister, and starts work for him, alongside his work partner/best friend Cameron. These two are more of a grumpy-sunshine, if I'm still categorizing (which apparently I am). They barely manage to resist their attraction until they have to go on a business trip together. For such relatively-short pieces, I'm always impressed at how well Katee Robert manages to build her characters while also finding time for some seriously great spicy scenes. I'm very grateful to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this as an ARC (like, I may have screamed while reading the email, it's fine), and I can't wait for the next one!

Weird aside: in the original release, these two stories were released as the third and fourth installments. And I didn't have any issues enjoying or understanding these stories, but if it'll really bug you, read the other one first.

✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧ thank you netgalley for this arc!

i think you should take my rating with a grain of salt, im not always the biggest fan of contemporary romance OR books with a pregnancy trope. i wanted to give this a try because i love katee robert but unfortunately the plot of the two novellas was a bit boring and the spice didn’t really make up for it. it was a quick little read of two novellas combined, one with an unplanned pregnancy and the other with a grumpy/sunshine brother’s best friend, so if that sounds like your thing you might have fun!

Big thanks to Katee Robert and Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for a review.

This is two books in one each following a sibling of the Livingston family. And their respective love interests.

Normally I love everything and all Katee, but I was disappointed in these stories. They were so close to an average every day real life day to day story that nothing really pulled me me.
The only drama in the story was the 'should I or shouldn't I" but nothing really kept anyone together or apart.

Lots of steam, so maybe that was the intended focous, rather than plot.

Overall, it was meh.

It's a katee robert, it was phenomenal, there's really not much else I can say about it. i'm not even a pregnancy trope girl, but I still loved this one

I stopped reading this at about 20%. The smut hits so early in this and the pregnancy trope also hits right away. There was zero plot and the spice just wasn't worth it. I just couldn't get into it and was unable to finish it.

This book is different from others I’ve read. There are 2 stories in 1. So this review will read differently than my other reviews.

The first story has to do with Becka and Aaron who hook up as a one night stand during Becka’s sister’s wedding. Becka is a commitment phobe who has relationship trust issues due to her experience with her parents’ relationship. Aaron is a type-A guy who, while hasn’t had a serious relationship with anyone, isn’t afraid of commitment to the right person. Their one nightstand is incredible, but ends. Until 3 months later when Becka calls Aaron, seemingly out of the blue, to tell him she’s pregnant. Aaron wants to do the right thing and moves the pregnant Becka into his house. She is very resistant and her walls are completely up, but the sex is still as good as they both remember from that fateful night. Will Becka get over her commitment issues and will Aaron lighten up a bit more so they can have a future together, along with their child?

I wanted to like this story, and I love Katee Robert, so I thought she would be the one to be the except for my absolute hatred of the pregnancy trope. I was wrong. I couldn’t stand this story because of the pregnancy trope. The author’s writing style is good, I have no complaints about that. This is purely a preference thing. If you don’t mind or enjoy the pregnancy trope, you’ll more than likely enjoy this more than I did. My rating for this story is 1 star.

Second story: Trish doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life. She just moved to New York City thanks in part to her big brother, Aaron. He provided the funding for her apartment and a job at his company. Yet Trish knows it’s only temporary until she can figure her life out.

Trish meets her boss, Cameron, who co owns the tech company alongside her brother Aaron. First impressions aren’t great. He’s gruff and grumpy in comparison to her sweet and sunny disposition. Yet there is an undeniable attraction between them. They both resist it due to the power dynamics of Cameron being Trish’s boss.
Will Trish and Cameron finally give in to their forbidden temptations, or will they play it safe and keep their longings locked up to keep everything professional?

I definitely enjoyed this story more than the first one. It’s a grumpy/sunshine, forbidden romance, slow (for this author) burn, with tension and longing. Definitely much more to my liking. I give this one a 3 star rating.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for providing the ARC and the opportunity to review this book.

Such a fun and fast read!!!
I love how this was two stories wrapped up in one.
Both totally different stories but equally as good. I really enjoyed the storyline of both and the spice in both books was magnificent. I give it a 10/10.

ARC Review *Illicit Temptations* by Katee Robert
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had the absolute *pleasure* of diving into an ARC of *Illicit Temptations* and let me tell you, it delivers the best kind of insta-love goodness! 🫶🏻The chemistry between the characters is instant and off the charts, and the steamy scenes are exactly what you’d expect from Katee Robert–

sizzling, intense, and utterly addictive. If you’re in the mood for a fast-burn romance with enough heat to set the pages on fire, this one’s for you!

Illicit Temptations by Katee Robert is two books in one (Make Me Yours and Make Me Need). These are both delectable books as are all of her books that I have read. They are emotional journeys that one must navigate.

Make Me Yours is about Becka and Aaron. Becka can not stand commitment and hates weddings. So she has a one night stand at her sisters wedding. She of course plans on never seeing Aaron again but all that changes. I really liked this story even though it was not my typical type. It was well written.

Make Me Need flowed from book one. Aaron’s sister comes to work at his place of business. She starts working with his partner and best friend. Of course as you guessed these two fall for each other This story was super sweet and i loved it too.

I really like these two books. They flowed well and were emotional. Something different for me!
Can not wait for the next one!

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin romance for this E-book.

Good loooooooord. I am clutching my pearls!!!! If you want a book with spice and little character building then these two combined books are for you. It was pretty much spice from the first page. The second book had a little less spice but who wants that….

Becka and Aaron are hot and they both know it. They both want each other and we all know it. Spicey things happen and that’s that!

Aaron’s sister Trish needs a job. And what’s better than a job with a sexy boss whose bones you want to jump. Say it with me! Nothing!!!!! Enter Cameron. The sexy boss where Trish now works. They want each other. Will they, won’t they? I’m sure you know.

Read these books. They’re a time.

This is a volume of two novels in the Make Me series by Katee Robert. For whatever reason, this is book 3 & 4.

Make Me Yours follows Aaron and Becka who have a one night stand that results in a pregnancy. Becka has commitment issues and Aaron is obsessed with her (in a good way, not a creepy way). This one was okay but it was a bit dry at times. A little slow.

Make Me Need follows Trish (Aaron's sister) and Cameron (his business partner) after Aaron hires Trish to be his secretary/office manager. This is 100% grumpy sunshine and I definitely liked this one more than the other. It was pretty cute but also had a touch of instalove in there.

Overall, the best kind of smut is Katee Robert smut because there is character development and a storyline. I like how she writes her characters a lot. I did miss some of the elements from her Wicked Villains/Dark Olympus - these were a lot tamer, but still solid

Does Katee Robert ever disappoint? ...... The answer is no! This was quick, steamy, and scrumptious. That is all. Just read it!
