Oh this book was good! Such a great suspenseful story that kept the reader on their toes from the beginning. I loved the main character

I love Sheryl’s novels, you never know what you’re going to get! This is another well written thriller that you must read! I loved it from the start, never knew who foxtrot and who was lying! Bring on the next one soon!

This story is a page turner. Which character is the villain? Which character will be murdered or...? The characters are secretive, and the red herrings kept me guessing. Do not try to discern the ending of this novel too soon. It is not easily accomplished. Thanks Netgalley.

Lily engineers a meeting with actor Alex at a wedding, and they soon start dating. Lily has lied about everything though, and has difficulty keeping the lies straight.
But she knows Alex is lying as well.

I was totally absorbed by this book, and honestly could not put it down.
It is tense and unnerving, keeping the reader taut with tension.

One minute you think Lily/Emily has an overactive imagination, and the next you realise that she doesn't.

I highly recommend, but start the book early in the day, because you will end up sleep deprived like me!

Wow!!!!! Literally lost for words. What an absolutely fantastic book! I was hooked from the very start and that ending oh my god, I definitely didn't see that coming. That's what I love about this book, its unpredictable and when you think you have it figured out along comes a series of twists and the story goes completely different to what you think. I was honestly hooked. This book is going to be number one on the bestsellers lists.

Tricky one to review for me.
There were parts which i really enjoyed others not so much.
The character Alex just annoyed me with his continual moaning and i felt a lot of time was spent on over descriptive ways of saying how upset, angry etc etc he felt.
Having said that the general storyline was engaging and the many twists towards the end really kept me guessing.

As always, Browne sends me down one delicious path. Two people meet, both with a past they would like to forget. Lily meets, Alex who is a celebrity. He is taken with her instantly. She is not like who he typically dates. Was this a chance meeting or something more sinister?

They soon become exclusive by Lily never invites Alex to her place. He is starting to get suspicious!
Get ready for one heck of a ride as we follow Lily and Alex and all they are hiding. So many crazy plot twists and non-stop action that I did not want this one to end.

Sheryl Browne has done it again! This is another fabulous page turner that had me hooked from page 1.
The writing style is fast paced and the turns kept me guessing throughout. It’s a brilliant read that I’d definitely recommend.

Gheezz what a spellbinder of a trip this took me on. Always a delight to get and read a book from Sheryl Browne. Her writing is superb abd sge knows how to have you hanging on every page. So glad I got an early release of this book. It definitely was a brilliant book.

Vulnerable people are the perfect targets for manipulators. They use their charm or sob stories and often a big pack of lies to convince others to do their bidding. They oblige them to play act and when someone plays their part a bit too good, they find themselves in a situation that is difficult to wiggle out of without causing problems and heartache.

It felt like the author provided me with a catalogue filled with suspects to pick from and I was convinced due to one clue I had selected the right one. Was this indeed the culprit or was it a clever smoke screen the author included to wrong foot me? 

When two people don't see eye to eye anymore, they often accuse each other of telling tales. For an onlooker it's difficult to decide who to believe especially when one party is not in the picture anymore. So you rely on that remaining person to put your trust and and to believe they will keep you safe...

I totally enjoyed this thrilling story that had my head spinning. All the loose ends were tied nicely in the end. Love this kind of books. 5 stars

This is my first time reading a book written by Sheryl Browne and it didn’t disappoint!! The suspense of this thriller was so intense my heart was racing throughout. A wildly, engaging plot from the first chapter to the absolutely mind blowing end. If you think you’ve guessed correctly, it’s likely you’re wrong!!

Ok so i thought this book was very choppy. It didn't flow, I don't feel like the blurb really matched the book at all. The characters were all over the place and not likeable. Everyone was whining and wronged somehow and then plotted all these ways to get back at people. I don' t know-was not good. Didn't make a whole lot of sense honestly.
