Friends to lovers with wit, feelings, and some sexual tension. It was a fun and light read.
Many thanks to Forever and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is the first book that I've read by this author and although it's book 3 in the series it read as a standalone. Of course like any series it probably would have been better to start with book 1..
Tad was a great alpha male and Jules was a strong female , I loved their back and forth banter and the love he had for her child. This was a great friends to lovers beach read.
A story tackling dyslexia but still with fun and sassiful characters you can't help but fall in love with and I surely did! I feel like I see alot of Jules in myself as never really feeling secure and never really taking up for myself or feeling I was worthy of things so I can totally relate to her in most ways and my heart goes out to her. It's easy for me to sympathize with her. I was so thrilled when she and Tad finally got together as no two people could ever be so made for each other!
Love Kate Meader's writing style. This first series of hers doesn't get old.
Fun and sexy, I enjoyed this book and the relationship between the characters. I'd definitely read more from this author!
Jules is in love with Tad (I loved his name, Taddeo). She thinks only she feels it.
Tad can not stop thinking about Jules - especially after they kissed.
But because they have been friends for many years, with so many other friends in common, they do not want to ruin the friendship by crossing the line.
So when she goes to work on his wine bar, and he learns of the possibility of her meeting other guys through an online dating site, Tad gets desperate.
Now he has to prove to Jules that their friendship does not run the risk of ending if they have something more.
A romance full of misunderstanding and no cliffhanger.
