This book is the second in a series and follows a girl who runs a dating service with 2 of her friends. The books in this series can be read on their own as each one follows a different couple. The story is sweet and captivating and enjoyable to read. I flew through this book pretty quickly and I think I enjoyed it more than the first in the series.

I only made it to about 20% in the book. I really disliked the way Kennedy treated Nate in the book. From the start she was annoying. Why he would end up liking her was beyond me. I may read the third one since I did like the first one.

This was cute. I didn't love it as much as the first one but I was entertained.

Matchmaking agency Kinnections is back at it again. This time with rocket scientist Nate Dunkle. Nate is pretty much a lost cause. Going off of his playboy brothers advice, Nate just does not understand why he keeps getting shut down. But he wants a relationship and eventually a wife, so he reluctantly joins Kinnections. The only trouble is he's falling for his matchmaker.

Kennedy loves her job as a matchmaker at Kinnections. But lately she's felt like something's missing. So when she sees Ned, she thinks he's a perfect mark for their services. But as she gets closer to him, she starts to wonder what being with him would be like. Only problem is, Kennedy doesn't believe she's a relationship girl. Issues from her past keep popping up and blocking her from happiness.

There were some cute and funny parts here. But for a very smart man, I could just not understand how Nate did not know how horrible and mean his pick up lines were. He just never matched up. He knew his brother was a playboy and didn't want to settle down, but then would wonder why his his horribly cheesy lines failed. The smarts were just lacking. And then Kennedy was frustrating as well. With her back and forth feelings and self loathing. It became a little tiring. Also, there seemed to be little blase references to eating disorders and I just wasn't about that. Kennedy had an issue with food that needed to still be addressed with professional help.

Overall, it served it's purpose as a filler romance but it wasn't amazing and I didn't really swoon at this one.

5 +++ Stars!!

Searching for Perfect is the perfect love story of twp people who are so right for one another but have to discover it for themselves. I absolutely love Jennifer Probst! Her books are amazing and always leave me wanting much more. This series is no different. I absolutely love the story line behind this book. We get Kennedy who works at Kinnections in Verily with her two best friends as a matchmaker. Her job is simple. Find love for her clients, because everyone deserves to find it. She is given the perfect opportunity to transform a geeky man into something more, and find him love. Her toughest one yet, and she couldn't be more excited. Nate (Ned) is a rocket scientist who is on a mission to find his future wife. He is tired of spending all of is time at work, and with his brother Connor. He decides to give speed dating a try and is faced with the hard reality that he doesn't know how to talk to a woman correctly.

I have to admit, Nate is by far Hot, and will give you a new outlook on nerds. Kennedy helps him find a new wardrobe, to learn to style his hair correctly, and gets rid of the glasses. Throughout his journey with Kinnections, and spending more time with Ken he develops a desire to have her. The only thing standing his way? Kennedy refuses to ever have a long-term relationship. Doesn't think she deserves one.

The attraction is undeniable, and we get lots of hot, steamy scene's between the two. I absolutely loved this book, and finishing it was a very bittersweet moment for me. I promise you won't be disappointed reading this series, or any other books by Jennifer. If you have already then you know exactly what I am talking about. I truly can't wait for more books, and really hope we get a story in this great series! <3

Readers will be enthralled by this character driven romance. Second in the Searching For series brings us back to Kinnections match making agency where they take their business seriously. Kennedy, with all the sex appeal and confidence is really hiding a deep seated insecurity that makes her a compassionate character that is easy to relate to. Nate really brings out the passion in them both, making this a sexy read with a strong emotional back bone.
