There is only one Lucy score and that’s for a reason. Nobody can write small town romance like she does. It’s so easy to fall in love with her setting and characters!
This was such a sweet book and I absolutely loved it! The small rural town of Blue Moon Bend was adorable with all of its quirky residents, and then there are the Pierce boys! Carter is the wounded but healing hero with a sensitive side and appreciation of nature, the diplomatic and responsible Beckett, and the charismatic but slightly irresponsible Jax. Summer is a fantastic character herself, the type-A reporter from Manhattan that finds herself falling in love with Blue Moon, and a certain sexy farmer, after doing an article on the Pierce Family Farm. She’s afraid to open herself to love, and deviate from her carefully curated plans of future career path, but learns that those carefully laid out plans, might not actually what she needs in life and learns the importance of having a good support group and learning to let others in and be open to love.
This book was emotionally touching at times and deliciously spicy at others, but overall warmed my heart and kept me glued to the pages!
A big thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book!
Lucy Score has a way of making me so comfortable and at home with her writing.
This was sweet, cute, and light. I don't have to put to much pressure on reading her books, and can cozy right up!
I love that <3
Summer has her life planned out. She's making her way up in the cut throat magazine industry in NYC. When she goes on assignment for a week at Pierce Acres, an organic farm she doesn't expect to be so attracted to the owner, Carter! Even though the sparks are obvious, she has so many reasons to fight them. But will Carter make her forget all those reasons? Or will her secrets keep her from choosing love?
I've been a fan of the Lucy Score books I've read and this one wasn't an exception. I love the relationships between the Pierce brothers, their mom, and between Summer and Carter. This is the first in a series, so I'm excited to see how the story continues.
I was given a copy of this from @netgalley in exchange for my review. It has already been published, so go grab it!

This was a cute book. Carter and Summer were fun together and I liked seeing her fall in love with him and the town. I think I wanted a bit more tension overall in the book but it was fun.
I love a good small town romance and I love Lucy Score’s books. Her Blue Moon series is one I hadn’t read yet though, so with Bloom Books re-releasing the books with gorgeous new covers, it seemed like the perfect time to finally dive in.
The story centers on Summer Lentz, a journalist from the city, and Carter Pearce, the organic farmer she has been sent to Blue Moon to interview. Carter has recently returned from serving in Afghanistan and is still on the road to recovery. All Carter wants is peace and no distractions, so he’s not overly excited that he’s going to have to entertain a nosy journalist for a week. Once Carter meets Summer, however, he can’t deny that he is attracted to her.
With her designer wardrobe and her workaholic tendencies, Summer may be a bit out of place in Blue Moon, but she is still determined to fit in as best as she can and even agrees to work on the farm while conducting her interviews with Carter and his family. The more time she and Carter spend together, the more it becomes clear that she is just as attracted to Carter as he is to her. How could they possibly make a relationship work though when Summer is only there for a week and especially when it turns out she has some secrets that could really get in the way?
This book was so fun! I loved the town of Blue Moon with its quirky residents who all seem to think they’re matchmakers. There’s so much personality in the town that it’s practically its own character in the book! I also adored the chemistry between Summer and Carter, especially the way she keeps getting under his skin with her probing questions, which leads to lots of fun banter and later some spicy goodness!
I also loved the whole Pearce family and can’t wait to read more about them as the series continues.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Adored!!! Another Lucy hit with me!
In No More Secrets we meet city girl Summer who is just in town working on a magazine article about Carter’s organic farm. There is an instant attraction between Summer and Carter but Summer is only there for a short time so why start something. But the heart wants what the heart wants.
The people in Blue Moon are so lovable and it makes you want to live there. I absolutely adored the side characters and how lighthearted and humorous this book is. The perfect cozy fall book! I can’t wait to read the second book in this series!

Thank you to NetGalley, Lucy Score, and Sourcebooks Bloombooks for this ARC!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
*Reviewed on NetGalley, Amazon, and Goodreads.
Summer is doing an article on Carter's farm and stays with him for a week. She met his family, friends and Blue Moon's residents. She love his life, far from the one she has in NYC.
This book has everything I about about small town : Gossip, friendship, funny and loving family, and of course a tortured book boyfriend.
I really enjoy my reading!
I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.
No one can make me love an entire fictional town and all its’ characters the way Lucy Score can.
Thank you NetGalley and Bloom Books for the ARC of this story before it was re-published.
Lucy Score writes the most lovely, cozy stories! I love getting to revisit her earlier work as they are republished. Carter and June have my whole heart as they navigate their own journeys of healing and growth, and then come together for their own perfect little love story. I appreciated the low angst, full heart story here, especially meeting the lovely small town of Blue Moon Bend! I can't wait to go back there in the rest of this series.
thank you for the arc :)
No More Secrets brought all the joyful hallmarks of a Lucy Score novel, humor, warmth and love. The vivid storytelling placed me right on the farm with the family. It was an enjoyable read with awesome character and plot development.
The secret Summer was keeping could have been addressed a bit differently, as I found it repetitive and not suspenseful but that did detract from my enjoyment of the book.
It's been a minute since I've ready Lucy Score and this was cute! Overall, a great rom-com and very steamy. Slightly less polished than her others, but it was published several years ago & I think she's only gotten stronger! A solid 4 star read.
I am forever a fan of Lucy’s, there is nothing she has written that hasn’t completely sucked me in. You can tell this is some of her earlier writings and it’s so cool to see how far she’s come in her storytelling.
This was a reread for me and I loved it even more the second time around. I love that Carter is a grump but he's not mean or rude. He's just a guy who wants to take care of his family, tend to his farm, and support the community that's supported him. Summer is a journalist who's in town to write about sustainable and organic farming. Before you know it, sparks are flying between the two characters.
I love Lucy's writing. She always has a way with words and does a great job of laying down the groundwork for her series without taking away from the main couple of the current book. The town feels like it's own character with all the quirky and meddling townsfolk and shops with names like Peace of Pizza.
While there's some angst and a little drama, this is still a "feel good" story. It's a book I know I can pick up to break a reading slump. At 316 pages it's the perfect weekend read.
Thank you for the opportunity to review this book! I've enjoyed getting to dive into another of Ms Score's series, and enjoyed the level of detail with these characters. Will definitely continue this series!
Summer is a senior editor at a magazine living in New York writing an article about a small family farm 3 hours upstate. She spends a week there soaking in the small town, and getting to know the owner, Carter.
Overall, it was fine. If you don't mind insta-love stories means you'll like it. The storyline was kinda boring, and I flipped through the last 70 pages after trudging through the first 150. I just don't care for the instant "I love you" after only knowing each other for a week after only a few conversations and lettuce harvesting. Yes, he's a considerate hot farmer who is also a veteran and takes in rescue animals but what is this- The Bachelor?
Carter returns home to Blue Moon Bend after going to Afghanistan. Summer is a journalist who is sent to do a story on his family farm. She is definitely out of her element being a city girl. Will the both of them get past their secrets and open up to love?
I loved the characters. Carter and his brothers add fun into the story. This was an easy, fun read and I can’t wait to read more books from this series.
Thank you to Lucy Score, SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books, and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Synopsis: Summer is a city girl entangled in the world of magazines. Carter is an ex-veteran living and working on the family farm. Their worlds collide when she is sent to do an article on his family.
Thoughts: This was a cute, yet predictable romance story. I loved all the details about the farm and the city of Blue Moon, that I could envision what it would look like.
Thank you to Lucy Score, Bloom Books and NetGalley for the copy!
NO MORE SECRETS A Small Town Love Story Blue Moon Book 1 by Lucy Score
What a fun light hearted read! Lucy Score certainly knows how to keep you enjoying what you are reading. She creates great characters who are very entertaining, have plenty of humor, wonderful secondary characters, and lots of steam. I am looking forward to the next book.
I listened to the audio book that was narrated by Lila Winters who has done an excellent job with it. This is 5 stars.
