Low angst. Funny. Super sweet. Small town full of hilarious characters. Amazing sibling dynamics.

Lucy Score is who I always go to for any easy fun read! Her books are always filled with so much heart and laughter. Carter and Summer were no exception...this was so cute. The perfect palate cleanser in my opinion.

Thank you to Bloom and Netgalley for the arc with the new cover

This was the perfect, quick read. I love anything Lucy Score writes at this point, so this one did not disappoint! There were things that were definitely cheesy as hell but I ate it up!!!

Another winner for Lucy Score. Carter is the book boyfriend we all want. Strong, sensitive, slightly wounded, and just possessive enough. A rugged farmer with a family we can't get enough of. Summer had no chance of resisting him. Anyone would give up their fabulous life living and working in cosmopolitan Manhattan for the opportunity to chase new dream on an organic farm upstate when faced with the choice. I can't wait to read more about Carter's sexy brothers.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!

Ooh! This one was pretty spicy! I loved it! Although it was quite spicy it also had a great story of family and how they’re always there for you when you need them! So excited for the next brother, Beckett’s story! I have requested it!! I hope I get it!!!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are great! I’m not keen on the sex scenes which are graphic but I just skipped over them. Can wait to see what happens next. #NoMoteSecrets #NetGalley

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc. No More Secrets is book one in Lucy Score's Blue Moon Series. This book is a sweet and light book that follows Summer and Carter. Summer is a workaholic from New York City and Carter is the owner of a farm. This book also introduces us to Blue Moon community and the Pierce family. This book does touch on sensitive topics but is done in a respectable relatable way. Once I started this book, I did not want to put it down. This is normal for me with all of Lucy Score's books. This book was a quick read for me. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

From the first chapter you can probably guess what happens in Lucy Score’s No More Secrets (think Hallmark movie with big city girl, small town man, etc), but if you let your imagination freeze there, you will miss out on a beautiful little rom-com with a lot going on between the pages. Don’t assume you know this story, as Ms. Score has taken the idyllic town of Blue Moon and created lovable characters and small town charm that’s hard to resist.

No secret here - I love Lucy Score books! They are lighthearted, sexy, and funny! "No More Secrets" (book 1 in the Pierce Brothers series) was no exception. The two main characters are Summer and Carter. Summer is an editor for a fashion magazine in NYC and Carter runs his family's organic farm in the eccentric town of Blue Moon Bend, NY - where there are many interesting characters! Carter is a war veteran suffering from PTSD. He also has 2 brothers we meet as the story goes on (I am guessing the other 2 books to come in the series will be their stories). Summer is assigned to spend a week on the Pierce Farm to write an article. You can see where this is headed.....The story also deals with some family drama in both Carter's and Summer's families, and some secrets that both characters are holding onto. Summer's secret is not what I was expecting at all.
What I really love about Score's writing is her illustrative choice of words. As I was reading this story, I could conjure up pictures in my mind of what I imagine Pierce Farm would look like and the hippie downtown locations of Blue Moon Bend. She has an eloquent way of describing the scenery (some other things too) and making the reader want to read more. I finished this e-book in one day. It is part of a series, as mentioned above, but could also be read as a stand alone.

Thank you to Bloom, NetGalley, and Lucy Score for this arc in exchange for an honest review!

I really enjoyed this one! I am not always a fan of 3rd POV, but I thought it worked really well in this story. Blue Moon was the perfect small town setting. As Lucy said, the town really became its own character and I loved it! All of the Pierce brothers have me in a chokehold. I loved getting to know about their family. I related to Summer a lot, as a fellow Type A girl😂 She was such a fun FMC! The last 20% was so good and even the mini breakup didn’t bother me! A fun start to a series, I can’t wait to read more!

A sweet story of love, family, trusting others, and believing in yourself. Sometimes what we think we want and what we need are 2 different things.

I was expecting Lucy Score's signature angst, looking forward to it, but it was noticeably absent. Instead, it felt like the story was filled with a whole lot of nothing.

This book was a delightful escape that left me with a cozy and warm feeling from start to finish. I was completely charmed by the vibrant characters and the tight-knit community they inhabit. The small-town setting, where everyone helps each other and looks out for one another, created an inviting atmosphere that made me want to move there myself.

Summer is living her dream in New York City, writing for a magazine that lets her tell real stories about real people making a difference. With a job she loves, a fabulous apartment with a view, and a wardrobe that would make anyone envious, she's got it all. But when her next assignment takes her to an organic farm for a week, she's in for a surprise. Clad in expensive clothes and new boots, Summer is ready for anything—except what farm life really entails.

Enter Carter, one of three Pierce brothers who runs the family farm. A military veteran, Carter found healing in the farm's rhythms and routines. When he's tasked with hosting a city girl for a week, he's less than thrilled. He's not keen on being interviewed, but he knows it could be good publicity for the farm. Determined to show Summer the ropes, Carter is intent on making sure she understands what farm life is all about.

Their story unfolds in a setting that is nothing short of dreamy. The small town has its quirks—everyone knows everyone, gossip spreads like wildfire—but it also has a strong sense of community, where people show up for each other in times of need. As Summer immerses herself in this world, she discovers a side of life she never knew she needed.

The book was filled with moments that made me smile and chuckle, particularly the interactions between the Pierce brothers—Carter, Bennett, and Jackson. Their camaraderie and likability were infectious, and their banter added a lighthearted touch to the narrative. Each brother brought a unique flavor to the story, making them impossible not to love.

The romance between Carter and Summer was sweet and engaging, with just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting. While they might not have had quite the sizzling chemistry of some other Lucy Score couples, their relationship was still charming and authentic. I particularly enjoyed the epilogue, which wrapped up their story beautifully.

One area where I felt the book could have been stronger was in the final conflict between Carter and Summer. A bit more intensity in their struggle would have added an extra layer of depth to their journey. However, this minor detail didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the book.

As the first installment in a promising series, this book has set a high bar. I can't wait to see what adventures await in the next book, especially with the intriguing Beckett on the horizon. If you're looking for a feel-good romance with lovable characters and a heartwarming small-town vibe, this book is definitely worth picking up!

Summer is a journalist and blogger for a NYC magazine who travels to the Pierce family farm in upstate New York to spend a week interviewing and working alongside farm owner/manager Carter. Carter and Summer immediately have chemistry and as the week progresses it gets harder and harder for them to keep it professional. As she gets to know the Pierce family and the Blue Moon Bend community, Summer can’t help but wonder what will happen to her and Carter’s blooming relationship once she leaves.
——————-

This was a quick and fun read that gave me such a cozy and warm feeling all over. I really loved all the characters and the community members. It had a small town, everyone helps out, we all watch out for each other vibe. There was a lot that made me smile and chuckle out loud, particularly the Pierce brothers Carter, Bennet and Jackson. They were just so likable and had such great camaraderie with each other. The spice was just the right amount and even though Carter and Summer didn’t have *quite* the sizzle that some Lucy Score couples have, they were charming and I loved the epilogue. I wish the final conflict between them would have been a stronger. I have a feeling I am going to really like this series.

Tropes- grumpy/sunshine, small town, military hero, city girl/country boy

Triggers- PTSD, cancer

Carter just wants peace and to be left alone in his family farm. He's interviewed by Summer and totally annoyed by her in the beginning.....

Love this grumpy/sunshine story. Carter and Summer are terrific together.
Love their banter. Love the LOL scenes.
The small town setting is wonderful.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

I am so happy I got to read this pre-published work by Lucy Score! She is an all-time favorite author of mine. Not only was this the small-town cowboy rom-com I was craving, but it had some deeper topics packed into a small book!
Pros:
Likeable FMC, strong family, small-town, farmer/cowboy (personal favorite), and romance.

Cons:
Insta-love.

One of my least favorite tropes (is it even a trope) is insta-love. I understand there is only so much a couple can learn from each other in such a short book, but I would have loved a bit more time for the couple together. It seemed more lusty than love. I also would have like more healing for the MMCs PTSD instead of the she-sleeps-next-to-me-to-make-the-nightmares-go-away kind of thing.

Those are just my opinions. Overall, a cute book and a solid 3/5 stars. :)

Thank you Bloom Books and Netgalley for the ARC.

Lucy Score, I don't feel disappointed but I'm also not jumping from excitement. No More Secrets, book one of Blue Moon Series. Is a fine book. Obviously this feels like a very early debut kind of book. Similar to If Love by Ana Huang. All authors must start somewhere. However, Lucy Score's beginning was a mix of uninteresting MCs and a very lackluster romance. I will continue this series for my love of the author however definitely not a top 5 book.
