This was an immersive book club kit that enhanced the reading experience. While it wasn't the book itself I found that it added to the reading experience by adding details to the characters.

This is the first book club kit I've ever come across and I was so impressed. I wasn't expecting but loved the inclusion if a trigger warnings section, very thoughtful. I also love the cute printable bookmark, games, drinks and recipe suggestions. The whole things was clearly very consciously designed with a distinct colour palette and style, which also made the experience feel very cohesive.

Tangled Up in You is the perfect retelling. @christinalauren 's experience writing fan-fiction really comes through with this one. Not only does Tangled Up In You offer its own enjoyable experience for readers unfamiliar with Disney's Tangled, the book does a tremendous amount of fan service and shows appreciation for the 2010 film that fans will quickly take notice of.

Tangled is a personal favorite. When I saw that Christina Lauren would be doing a modern retelling of this Disney gem, I knew I had to read it. The book is true to its subject matter while still able to put in a few interesting and logical twists to give it a modern feel.

I got some friends to join along in the fun, so not only were we all to enjoy reading Tangled Up In You, we also did a little book club meeting of our own using the AMAZING Book Club Kit (you can find this on the authors' page under the link for Tangled Up In You). With recipes, printable bookmarks, discussion questions, interviews with the authors, and more, this Book Club Kit made me wish I could have one for every book we read.

While Tangled Up In You is a standalone read, it is part of a larger Disney retelling series that I am about to deep dive into and bring my friends along with me. 😅 These are the perfect books to just reset with and help you relive and enjoy a Disney favorite in a whole new way.
