I love love LOVE Suitor Armor. I started reading this on Webtoon when it first came out and didn't get very far. I love the art and the story so far and I'm glad I was able to read more.

I love the innocence between Lucia and Modeus. There's a childlike wonder that Lucia shows when first interacting with him. And Modeus seems to have more...charm to him than what others can see.

Overall, I LOVED this first volume and I can't wait for more to be published! 10/10 Recommend :)

Very sweet story about a hidden fairy girl falling in love with an enchanted suit of armour. As this is the first in a series it was very character focused rather than plot heavy which I didn't mind, I liked the characters which were setup (particularly the gay knight and squire! Their relationship is cute and I liked that they had a chapter at the end showing how they first met). The lady which Lucia serves under also gives the same vibes as Lottie from Princess and the Frog which I don't mind at all!

It'll be interesting to see how the plot might deepen in future volumes, in this one there was some nice setup but nothing too groundbreaking.

I have loved this comic since it was on Webtoons, and I'm so happy to see a graphic novel coming!

I really enjoy this story; Purpah sets up a thrilling mystery as well as a rich world with a fairy war, a ban on magic, and a fairy hiding in the court of the king. I love the characters: Lucia is kind and patient, always trying to help everyone around her. Kirsi is bubbly and fun, and although she hides it, deeply insecure, which makes for an interesting princess character. Norrix reminds me of a cat: vain and clever but always tired, and his creation, Modeus, is a delightful mystery.

The art is smooth, with lovely little details to bring it to life, and the pacing is excellent. I love this book!

This is such a cute graphic novel with the juxtaposition of a cinnamon roll girl and a dark knight. In this world, humans are in control and are at war with fairies. Lucia is a secret fairy who was rescued by a noble girls father and raised to be the girls handmaiden. Kirsi, her lady, is finally ready to marry the king and they arrive at court where Lucia meets this magically animated suit of armor who begins to take his own personality. It was so fun witnessing the tenderness Modeus has for Lucia, as they explore the castle and she learns more about court life.

This webton was recommended to me by a very trustworthy friend, who said that I would definitely like it. I really enjoyed this enchanting story, which is still very much in the build-up, but does it all very sweetly. It doses the story just right, introducing you to the world and exploring the limits of magic. The only thing I liked more than the personality of our protagonist Lucia was her hair - yes, she too has curly locks. A perfect match for the speechless armour, with which I look forward to more adventures together. I also loved the basic style of the comic, the princess is something phenomenal and the knight in shining armour is just tough. I'm really looking forward to seeing where the story goes with both the romance and the political storylines, as it has a lot of potential.

This is a delightful story about Lucia, a lady in waiting to a princess. Lucia unknown to the people around her is a fairy at a time when the country is a war with fairies. Lucia’s life changes when she meets a magical suit of armour which is brought to life as a knight. This magical suit of armour becomes her champion, protector and friend.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet and fun light read, about a girl falling for the unexpected, With hilarious side characters and fun art, I look forward to reading future volumes many times over.

Loved reading this webcomic turned graphic novel! The art style is incredible. Both the characters and the story keep you reading and before you know it, you've finished the novel. My only complaint is that I wish it covered more episodes of the webcomic because I wanted to keep reading more!

I was already a fan of the comic on Webtoon, so it was a delight to read it in traditional comic format. The formatting is beautiful—there's little flairs and impactful full page panels for important moments. Absolute eye candy.

I also appreciate the concept art and bonus chapter. Having the additional insight gives me more appreciation for the comic.

This is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel. I think the colors and the concept are charming. The tone of the story just isn't what I look for.

Lucia is a fairy forced to hide her identity in a country at war with and prejudiced against all of fae kind. As the stepsister/lady-in-waiting of the future queen, she finds herself in the palace as an enchanted suit of armor debuts as a new royal guard and a mysterious fairy infiltrates the grounds in search of said bespelled metal warrior. Lucia begins to find herself drawn in many different directions - towards the arrogant royal mage who has taken a liking to her, towards the fae interloper who might be the key to her past, towards the magical armor who seems to be more aware and intelligent than he should be, and towards the myriad secrets and outcast inhabitants.

The main thing this story made me feel is sad. I feel sad for Lucia living in constant fear and hiding her true identity. I feel sad for the mage seeming to genuinely like and care about her when she obviously does not and will not return his feelings. I feel sad for Modeus being treated as an inanimate, emotionless object: there's a scene at the beginning where he's mockingly ordered to give a flower to someone and he looks around at all the laughing/cringing faces, just trying to find someone who would even let him near enough to offer it, and I legitimately almost cried.

I think this story will be perfect for someone who doesn't already struggle with anthropomorphizing everything.

It's a fine cute fantasy with romance. The art is adorable. I love the style. The colors were also so bright and nice. I was reading on my phone and for once, I didn't have to zoom in to read the words. It's easy to read. The characters are very diverse and are pretty well rounded. I appreciate the female character isn't a pushover and doesn't take sides too easily. I will say, one of the characters developed in a toxic way and I'm worried because no one in the story is calling out the behavior. I hope in the next book, the toxic character is called out in some way. Also, there are so many social conflicts going on that I hope each is brought to a good resolution and not forgotten about. This seems like a very solid start to the series and I hope it develops well.

This was a really cute graphic novel, and I honestly can not wait to see where the following volumes go as we get deeper into the story.

Lucia is a fairy hiding her true nature in a kingdom at war with her kind. Lucia is a very likable protagonist, kind and sweet, she forms a friendship with a magical suit of armor she names, Modeus. Modeus is also very endearing as he grows attached to Lucia. She's the only person who treats him as an individual and not an object, and her love helps him grow. The supporting cast was good, there’s some queer representation, and I’m interested to see how crushes and secrets between them develop. The war with the fairies has me intrigued and I hope it's developed further in the next volume. I would recommend this book to young teens who enjoy creative fantasy romance.

Really cute graphic novel about a fairy who pretends to be a human that is infatuated with a suit of armor that has come to life by a magician! Pretty quick fantasy read and was left on a bit of a cliffhanger so I'm looking forward to the next one!

With a gorgeous style and attractive premise, but with a boring instalove and linear characters full of cliches, I finished it somewhat enthusiastic, but wasn't that memorable for me. There wasn't enough development or originality to make me want to know more.

THIS WAS SO CUTE! You can't make me hate the giant, brooding (metal) man and lovely, feminine fairy girl trope <3 I feel like this volume did an excellent job of establishing all of the characters that will be recurring in this series, but I think it ends just a few scenes too early. That said, I think the action leading up to the ending will make the next volume very enticing to readers, myself included.

This was a super cute intro story and I was sad at the end because I wanted to keep reading. I would definitely be interested in continuing the series to see the romance pick up!

My daughter is really into Manga stories. It is such a challenge to find stories that are the Manga style but avoid the super adult content that I don’t want her reading yet. She stemmed to enjoy this book.

My Review
The graphic novel featuring the suit of armor completely stole my heart! It's unbelievably adorable. I'm so excited to read more about Modeus and the fairytale-like story. The addition of a secret identity and LGBTQ+ representation added depth to the narrative, making it even more captivating. The illustrations are stunning, and the colors are top-notch. I raced through the novel and savored every moment of it. If you have a soft spot for fairies, gallant armor-clad heroes, and enchanting magic, this graphic novel is perfect for you. It's slated for release on November 12th, and I'm already counting down to the next volumes.
