10 years ago Parker's heart was broken when Logan Barnes unexplainably left her and her brothers life's. Now as an infamous NHL player with a bad boy reputation, he is getting over an injury, playing in the minor leagues. The Team that parker is now the social media manager of. They immediately recognise each other and rekindle their friendship.

Then they make a deal. Logan will pretend to be Parkers fake boyfriend at her fathers birthday gala, if Parker agrees to give him less social media exposure.

But how fake is this relationship? To Parker, who Logan likes to call Pete (*cute*), the relationship feels real, her feelings are definitely real but are the signals he's sending real?

This is a lovely cushy contemporary sports romance. Has all the steam! All the feelings! But with none of the smut. This would be perfect for teenagers, young adult or anyone not keen on smut. I am, unfortunately, a smut girl.

The characters are likable, relatable and funny. Logan turns from brooding bad boy to loveable cocker spaniel. Parker is fiery yet innocent girl next door.

I wish I had read the physical copy. I listened to this on audio book. The accents of the narrators Emily Ellot and Jay Myers kind of put me off.
I do struggle listening to audio books in different accents as it is but I am attempting to overcome this.
My biggest struggle was with the opposite sex voices in each POV. Jay Myers who read the part of Logan doing his pretentious girly voice very nearly put me off but I decided to power through because I was enjoying the story.

Overall I enjoyed the story. The characters are likeable. FMC is relatable, fiery and witty. The MMC hot and steamy with just enough drool factor. It was an easy listen whilst in a reading slump.

Parker is the Social Media Manager for an AHL team called the Appies and doesn't that sound like the coolest job ever?! Parker loves her job, obviously, rallying the team to make viral videos and do all the silly dancing trends. The wrench in this all is that her childhood crush/brother's ex best friend is getting sent to the team from the NHL after an incident with a fan. She can handle it though, right?

Logan Barnes is headed to the AHL after an injury and an incident with a fan got him into trouble in the NHL. Not only is he being sent to the AHL he is going to have to confront the woman he ghosted years ago.

I enjoyed reading Logan and Parkers story. Hockey, second chances, silly tiktok trends...this book is great! Highly recommend it. If you like a good hockey romance then you'll enjoy this one! This is a clean romance. Do not come here looking for spice and then complain when there isn't any.

I love this book - the story, the characters - the narrators make it even better. There's nothing that could make this book better. I hope more will be written in this series because the characters are so relatable and lovable.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance between Logan and Parker. I’m fairly new to reading sports romance, but loved this grumpy x sunshine story with a cast a sexy and loveable hockey players.

I listened to the audio format and really prefer this format when life gets busy. The narration was great!

We may be just starting into the summer months, but I was super excited when my request to review the audiobook for Don’t Just Fall by Emma St. Clair!

This books is such a fun sweet hockey romcom! I loved the characters and thought the narrators did a fantastic job portraying their personalities!

This closed door romance starts with the reunion of Logan and Parker! Did Parker used to have a huge crush on Logan? YES! Did Logan leave the small town of Harvest Hollow not expecting to ever come back? Absolutely! Will a fake date progress to something more? Possibly… You will just have to read this sweet romantic comedy to find out!

This audiobook was so cute and heart warming. Loved how all the relationships were written and feel in love with all the hockey boys! Can’t wait for the other books to come out to continue the journey with this group.

I’ve been eyeing the sweater weather series since it was released and I was so pumped to get my hands on this audio. I got it last night, finished my current audio and listened to this book straight through.

What a happy, swoony, feel-good, sweet romance 🥰

Logan has been sent down from the NFL after an injury and some drama in his personal life and it’s put him in a foul mood. Enter Parker. Sunshine girl, and Social Media Manager for his new team. She’s also the little sister of his ex best friend. And she’s all grown up. And she needs a fake date to keep her father out of her love life.

You know when you just need a book to make you smile? This is it. I just loved every moment of this book. I love their nicknames and how hard Logan fell and how grand his gestures were.

This book is super cute. I loved our main characters and the fake dating. The audio, though, left me kinda feeling, eh. It's not terrible, but the female's male voice took me out of the story frequently. 
This is closed door, so if that's not your thing, definitely pass. Our FMC has never even been kissed, which I just don't find believable.
I love the team and how protective of her they are. Definitely more so than her own brother or father. 
I guess I just wanted more from this. It's enjoyable, but I didn't overly love it.

Parker is a social media manager for a hockey team called the Appies. Logan an ex NHL player has to join the appies after being kicked off his team. Emma St. Clair kicks off The Sweater Weather Series with her novel, Just Don’t Fall. This is a multi-author series in which they all worked together to create characters from the small town, Harvest Hallow.
*The book proved so popular with readers that it later spun another series that she co-wrote with author Jenny Proctor.

Just Don’t Fall proves that you don’t need to rely on explicit content to deliver all the feels. Despite the main character Parker having never been kissed and this being a clean/ closed door romance, this was one of the steamiest stories I have ever read. I appreciated that St. Clair didn’t make fun of the fact that Parker a twenty five year old woman had never been kissed. The storyline was handled with care and illustrates that any physical contact is not to be taken lightly.
*Logan was the perfect gentleman allowing Parker to set the pace of their physical relationship.

I first read the print version of this book last year and loved it, so when the opportunity to listen to the audio came up on NetGalley, I jumped at the chance. The voice actors did an amazing job capturing the voices of Parker and Logan. Even though I knew the story, it felt like I was hearing for the first time. I am extremely particular about voice actors because some make weird mouth noises as they speak and I was never once pulled out of this story by anything like that. An excellent audio selection in every way!

OH MY GOODNESS THIS AUDIOBOOK WAS SO FREAKING CUTE!! I always love this author’s books, but I think this one might be my new favorite! It. Was. PERFECT!

Such a cute romance book! Absolutely loved the banter and the inner monologue of the FMC. I listened to it in one go. The narration is also great with so much emotion being conveyed. This was my first Emma St. Claire book but hopefully won’t be my last! Loved it.

This is her best book yet! I loved the the banter between the two main characters but their inner monologues were top tier, this book has me laughing and kicking my feet. I will always read/listen to Emma’s books. The narration was perfect! I can’t wait for more from the author!

Consider me an Appie fan! This is the second book I’ve read in this series (received an arc for Romancing the Grump) and I’ve enjoyed reading about the hockey players and women working for the Appie franchise. This is a cute story and one where I wasn’t upset about the use of the miscommunication trope. Narrators were also excellent.

This is a very sweet and funny story. The narrators were new to me, but I enjoyed their performances very much. They did a great job of bringing out the humor in the book.

Logan and Parker’s story is a great way to kick off the Sweater Weather series and the series about the rest of the Appies. While they are a closed door romance you get so much mutual pining and angst leading up to that first kiss. Parker has always had a crush on the hockey player Logan but still does not understand why he left year ago without explanation. She works for the AHL team he is now playing for and all that forced proximity but at the office and home makes them finally address what happened before he left and what their lives can look like when he is sent back to the NHL. Both narrators are new to me but they both did a great job portraying Logan and Parker. You can really feel their emotions!

4.5 Stars. This is a fun hockey romance with extra points on the hottest “non-kissing” scene to ever be written in a closed-door romance!! WOW!

I absolutely loved the narrators - they were perfect throughout this entire audiobook!

Logan was the best friend of Parker’s older brother. Parker had/has/always had a crush on Logan. Years ago he left town and ghosted Parker and her older brother, Brandon.

Now, he’s been sent down to the AHL (let’s just cite behavioral issues in the NHL) and he once again meets Parker, the current entertainment coordinator for his new AHL team.

These two as adults have sparks from day one. They are both mired in anxiety, worry, and self-doubt; which leads to a fake-dating-to-real-dating situation

He’s got a hard, serious demeanor. She’s more along the line of sunshine and happiness and energy. But, it’s clear from the get-go that these opposites definitely attract! They could not be more right for one another!

I loved this entire audiobook and highly recommend it!!!!!!!
