Do you like your romance stories on the steamy side? Well, friend, this is the book for you.
Allie (whose POV feeds the book), Kitty, Cam, and Wade were friends in college. They loved to get together and tell sexy stories to each other. Their favorite place to do this was their professor’s mansion. Years later, the professor has died and left the house to them in his will, so they decide to gather once more. Not everyone thinks this is a good idea, including Allie, but off they go.
The stories Allie used to tell and write now embarrass her. She had a crush on Wade, but is he still the focus of her dreams? Only one way to find out, right? Hmm. Not so much, as the quartet experiments with various kinks and combinations of coupling.
Wade has changed. Or, maybe he was different from the way Allie imagined him. While Allie lacks the self-confidence it once appeared she had, Wade has his sexual identity well in hand, so to speak. It seems that Cam is more of a match for Allie, but is he repressed or is he, like Allie, simply embarrassed by what he imagined?
Kitty is the least observed character in the book, and perhaps that is because, despite one encounter together, Kitty and Allie simply aren’t a match. As far as same sex activity goes, Wade and Cam are more adventurous, but then again, when the four of them decide to experiment with a foursome, it’s hard to know who is attracted to whom and who is simply bi-curious.
There is humor (sex can often be very funny) and deeply rooted romance in this book. Well written and a fun book to read.
