As with the rest of this series, it is Dermott’s turn to find the love of his life. Georgianna’s daddy’s gambling got the best of him and lost everything, including his daughter. I loved how gentle Dermott was with Georgianna and yet steel with anyone who tried to hurt his ever growing list of people was his to protect. There were a few things that I was not enamored with. I had hoped to see why the villain was so dead set against Georgianna’s dad and why he was bent on destroying him. Would have also loved to have had some back and forth between the villain and Dermott. I think both of those would have had a better sense of closure. The epilogue was hysterical and I adored it! All in all , a good book. Looking forward to the next man to fall for the love of his life.
