This book is so incredible.

It has a touch of everything - villains, fated mated, magic, romance, action.

While it is the 6th book in a series, and I haven't read the other books (which I will be doing) - I still really loved this book.

The overall plot is so intense, the things that Rachel has to go through, the battles, keep the pages turning. I was so incredibly intrigued that it was impossible not to keep the pages turning. On top of that the chemistry between Rachel and Timothy was jumping off the pages. The way they consistently relied on each other was so incredible, it really sealed their place in my hearts.

Absolutely loved this book and looking forward to more Kat Turner in the future.

What a story!! Talk about adventure! The detail and storyline is action packed. The characters are a well balanced mixture of snark and love. If you want to escape into a world of creatures and mystery then thi sbook is definitely for you. What a roller-coaster!! Hold tight to your chocolate and coffee because Dark Heart is about to wreck you.

A complex book of witches and chaos. It takes quite a bit of concentration to keep track of everything that is going on but is well worth the effort.

What I Loved:

* Strong, Relatable Protagonist: Rachel Harris is a well-developed character whose journey from a skeptic scientist to a powerful witch is both believable and engaging. Her inner conflict and determination to control her magic despite her reluctance make her a strong and relatable protagonist.

* Intriguing Romance: The chemistry between Rachel and Tim is electric. Their relationship is filled with tension and passion, making their journey both thrilling and heartfelt. The push and pull of their attraction, combined with their shared goal of preventing a magical apocalypse, keeps the reader hooked.

* Alpha Wolf Shifter: Tim Tsosie is a complex character who brings a lot of depth to the story. His role as the protective pack alpha and his struggle with his feelings for Rachel add layers to his character. His development from a duty-bound leader to someone who embraces his feelings is well-crafted.

* High Stakes and Suspense: The impending magical apocalypse and the presence of the malevolent spirit Folly create high stakes that keep the tension and suspense alive throughout the book. The urgency of their mission adds a thrilling pace to the story.
