Summer disappeared by Colin. She isn’t the only one though, he’s kidnapped other girls as well, and keeps them in his cellar. He calls them his family, flawless flowers, but flowers need sunlight to survive and without it they won’t make it for long. Summer is given the name Lily, the others are Rose, Violet and Poppy. He tells them to call him Clover.

This book was heartbreaking. The bravery of the girls.

This is a work of fiction but what's really scary about this book is that this kind of thing happens all the time.

I usually enjoy Natasha Preston books, but this one was hard for me. I ended up DNFing it at about halfway. The main character was annoying and it was just too hard to get through.

I didn't get a chance to read this before it expired on my nook. I'm sorry! I do hope to one day buy and read this!
