Daydream was my favorite of the entire trilogy, but I wish that Hannah Grace had owned that Henry is on the spectrum. It's hinted so much and it feels like a missed opportunity for awareness to not highlight his story with his autism.
I related to Halle from the get-go as an eldest daughter and was so proud of her growth. Henry is SUCH A good partner to her, and I love him for it.
I'm sad this series is over and would return to Maple Hills in a heartbeat!

Love these books!! So fun and I always feel like I’m right there in the middle of it with them! Happy to have gotten an arc for a series I so enjoy!

Daydream is a cute read for fans of the author, especially the previous two books in this series (Icebreaker and Wildfire). A friends-to-lovers plot sees opposites Henry (jock) and Halle (book nerd and aspiring author) engaging in a (very) slow burn romance that the main characters seem to fight very hard to deny. And, while there is some great flirty banter and swoon-worthy lines from Henry, I found the romance to be lacklustre and the plot itself was fairly slow. I did, however, appreciate the focus on struggling with ADHD and I think anyone who can relate will find themselves reflected well here, which is something you don't get very often.
This is a good beach read and is great for those looking for an easy light romance. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

1st person dual POV
Spice: 1.5/3🔥
I have wanted Henry’s story from the very first time we met him in Icebreaker. Getting inside his head was everything I wanted and more. And Halle is his perfect match. They are PRECIOUS. I absolutely loved this and I never want this world end.
What you’ll find:
- neurodivergent rep
- reformed playboy
- v heroine
- she’s an aspiring author
- they help each other 🥹

Where was this romance 18 years ago when I was in college? This is a fantastic romance for college-aged readers who want to see themselves in a romance.
I also very much appreciated the portrayal of losing your virginity. It is EXTREMELY well done! Brava!
Diverse:
- Henry is neurospicy, as described in the beginning author’s note. If he were to have a diagnosis, it would probably be AuDHD.
- Halle has anxiety.

HENRY IS THE MAN OF MY DREAMS! I absolutely loved this one and I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoyed it! It is truly a GEM of a book.
The story is captivating from start to finish, with a perfect blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth. The story follows Halle and Henry, who are both dealing with their own personal struggles. Halle helps tutor Henry, they begin fall in love and slowly they each (and together) begin to heal and overcome all of their struggles. Both characters are relatable, and their story was cute and emotional and will have you swooning.

Why was this so damn perfect? I saw so much of myself in both Henry and Halle. I hated how quickly
I finished this book because I didn't want to leave these characters behind.

This book was probably the best out of all three in the series! I couldn't wait for Henry's story because he's just so sweet! He has a little care box for girls who stay at his house!

Thank you for letting me read this! Any book with a bookish main character is a win for me! I loved reading Henry's story so much. This was so enjoyable.

Thank you NetGalley for this review copy.
This was a great addition to the rest of the books in this series. I love the covers of all of these!

This is the third book in the Maple Hills series, which centers around Henry Turner and Halle Jacobs.
The characters were relatable and definitely had me engaged the whole reading experience. Overall this was a sweet story with plenty of fun moments.
*many thanks to Atria and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

The third installment of the Maple Hills series was *chef’s kiss*. I have been a big fan of Henry from the beginning so I was thrilled to get to watch him fall in love with Halle. This friends to lovers rom-com was witty and relatable.

Thank you to Atria Books and NetGalley for providing me with a digital arc of this book!
Romance is certainly not my go-to pick but this book and the series in general may have changed my mind. Daydream is book three in the Maple Hills series by Hannah Grace and it follows Henry Turner and Halle Jacobs. Just to clarify, you don't necessarily have to read the other books in the series first but it will definitely feel like you are trying to be a part of somebody else's inside joke, so it might be worth it to consider. Halle has just been dumped by her childhood best friend and decides to focus all of her energy into her dreams of writing a book, except for the fact that she has no real life experiences to pull from. Henry is captain of the ice hockey team and struggling with his grades on top of his other responsibilities. The two decide to strike up a deal that is mutually beneficial to the both of them, but before long, the "deal" starts to feel way too real.
This book is by far the best in the series. The characters are so incredibly realistic that there were times when I felt like I was intruding on a personal moment by reading. I have never in my life felt more seen than through the character of Halle, which forced me to face some uncomfortable truths. I thoroughly enjoyed the pace of the romance and that it felt entirely well earned. If you feel like romance isn't the genre for you or you've been burned by one too many smut focused books with no real plot, I guarantee this book will change your mind.
The hardest part for me about reading this book was how relatable Halle was. I kind of found myself spiraling back into old habits that were entirely unhealthy and it was hard for me to see past that for at least a few days after finishing it. That is, of course, a personal issue and one that will not affect everyone who reads the book, so I won't let it affect my rating. This book is an easy 5/5.

Sweet, college hockey romance. Low spice, more of a slow burn. Not a favorite for me (if you’re looking for an icebreaker repeat this is not it) but doesn’t mean it’s still not a good story.
I received this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

As the eldest daughter, I feel very SEEN in this book. Family Manager is not a title I take lightly and I really related to Halle as it can sometimes feel like the weight of the world on your shoulders while you help everyone but yourself. I am soooo glad I loved Halle so much because Henry is one of my favorite Maple Hills characters. Their love story was very sweet and much more slow burn than the other two books in this series. I really enjoyed this one and applaud Hannah Grace for giving Henry the story he deserved!

Halle Jacobs - Recent break-up, perfectionist, scholar, social outcast, loves a library, leads a book club, works at a popular tourist hotel.
Henry Turner - Athlete, down to earth, popular, smart, charming, single, and devilishly good looking.
{Insert Meet Cute Now} Henry accompanies his friend’s girlfriend to the bookstore. He’s looking to buy a book on leadership. She’s looking to buy the newest romcom. He’s hoping to improve his leadership skills as he steps into the position of Captain for his hockey team. She takes a long time to browse. He picks his book almost instantly and finds a place to sit down. Henry expects his friend to approach but instead it’s a girl named Halle. Halle introduces herself and asked Henry to do the same. Halle assumes that Henry is there to attend her book club discussion. Henry feels slightly embarrassed for not realizing the chair he was sitting in was reserved for the event. They go about their own ways but Henry can’t stop thinking about Halle. He returns to the bookstore to see Halle again. This connection starts a friendship…which in turn has the potential to turn into something more.

Daydream by Hannah Grace had its sweet and fun moments, but I struggled to fully connect with the characters. While the romance had its charm and the writing was enjoyable, something about the emotional depth felt a bit lacking for me. I wanted to love it as much as her previous books, but I just didn’t feel as invested in the story. Still, fans of Icebreaker may enjoy this one—just wasn’t my favorite!

It feels sacrilegious to say this but this was my least fav in the series so far. It was lovely and wholesome and I LOVE the neurodivergent representation. But for me it was missing that spice and tension that started it all in Icebreaker, just not enough push and pull.

"Daydream" by Hannah Grace is the third installment in the Maple Hills series, following the stories of Henry Turner and Halle Jacobs. Henry, the newly appointed hockey team captain, faces academic challenges that threaten his junior year. Halle, an academic superstar and aspiring novelist, offers to help Henry with his coursework in exchange for new experiences to inspire her writing. Their arrangement leads to a deep and transformative relationship. Overall, "Daydream" is considered a delightful addition to the Maple Hills series, offering a heartwarming and relatable romance that resonates with many readers. Its blend of academic challenges, personal growth, and budding romance provides a compelling narrative for fans of contemporary romance novels.
