This story is a perfect continuation of a great series! I loved Henry in the first book and I was so glad we got to see move of him in his own story. Halle, our main leading lady, is also great and relatable. She is trying to find a group of girls she fits in with and the one she finds is so precious and I loved them.
This book has the tutor trope as well as opposites attract, fake dating, and Dual POVs.
The writing is easy to follow and will be perfect for fans of Hannah Grace and the hockey romance genre in general. Ps. We love a Taylor Swift Cardigan in the cover.

I can relate to Henry and Halle for different reasons; I'm the eldest daughter and get overstimulated the same way Henry does (but I haven't been diagnosed with everything). I loved them as a couple, but I wish we would have gotten more of our other beloved characters from Icebreaker and Wildfire! I enjoyed the book, but it didn't hold my interest and I wasn't dying to get back to it, unfortunately. Overall, though, it's a super cute story with no heavy plots and little tension.

I loved this book. It was great reading about more diverse characters and seeing things from Henry's point of view. The romance was well written and I wish I could continue to read more about their story!

I love Maple Hills and eagerly await a chance to head back into this universe. In this book we follow Halle and oldest daughter people pleaser, and Henry a chaos agent. It's starts as a friendship and tutoring opportunity but both Halle and Henry have their hangups so watching their story unfold was really well done. I look forward to the next Maple Hills book!

This book was so different from her other books! I loved that the sex scenes were toned down and it wasn’t repetitive. The characters felt 3D and more like people you could actually meet in public. They were likable and relatable. The writing has clearly gotten stronger since her first book and I love to see the growth!

I love this series! Henry’s book is the one I’ve been waiting for. I was so excited to read it. Halle is one of the most relatable characters. ‘Icebreaker’ is still my favorite of the series, but this was a close second! I loved the slow burn/friends to lovers vibes!

Thank you, net galley, for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. I SQUEALED when I got an early copy of this one. Icebreaker is one of my all time favorite steamy romances, and made me love Hannah Grace. Since my expectations were so high, I was a little disappointed with the second one in this series, Wildfire. However, she is BACK in Daydream. I adored this one and couldn't put it down! It felt, to me, like a more mature version of Icebreaker. I loved the steamy scenes and the banter between the characters. I can't wait for the series to continue!

The third in the Maple Hills series is absolutely my favorite! Henry was a standout character in Ice Breaker, so I was looking forward to reading his story. The romance between the two main characters builds perfectly and the character development is great!

This was another fun romance from Hannah Grace! The characters' chemistry and banter was delightful, and seeing our favorite supporting cast of characters never gets old.

The first book captured my attention, and while the second was decent, it was this third book that truly won me over. I adored the rich tapestry of diversity, the exploration of various learning styles, and the sensitivity toward social nuances. The way it boldly challenged norms surrounding extroverts and introverts, highlighting the need for different communication styles and our complex relationships with emotions and external stimuli, resonated deeply with me. The male and female protagonists were so beautifully multifaceted, complete with their flaws, and their character development was nothing short of impressive. This book had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions, and I found myself giggling at the delightful romance woven throughout. I genuinely hope the series continues because I am enchanted by the author's writing style and the authentic relationships that come to life on the pages.

A beautiful, deep, funny and romantic addition to the series, I loved seeing more of Henry and meeting Halle was a delight. Together I love how they grow and learn together, their romance was beautiful. Another great installment and I want more!

This book was a very cute (and way too long) contemporary romcom with some easter eggs/crossovers from some of Hannah Grace's other books. I really liked Henry and Halle as characters and they had a refreshingly healthy relationship, but I think this was also a problem for the book. Not much conflict happens, and as a result I wasn't feeling for them as deeply and I wasn't as invested, and also as a result, not much plot happens. It's basically them vibing and providing feel-good vibes for each other for 400 pages. They DID have conflict in their separate lives and with other characters, but I never felt that spill over into their relationship. Which is fine for many readers, but not exactly my cup of tea. I think I liked Hannah Grace's other books a bit more. But if you don't mind a vibey, feel good story without much conflict, then you'll enjoy this one!

Liked this book enough, but wasn't an absolute favorite of mine. I loved the characters, but the it took me a bit to get into the story.

Summary:
The third installment in the New York Times bestselling Maple Hills series centers on fan-favorite Henry Turner, the newly appointed hockey captain, who is struggling to balance his academic and athletic responsibilities during a challenging junior year. After landing in a tough class with his least favorite professor, Henry knows he’s in trouble. Enter Halle Jacobs, a fellow junior, academic overachiever, and aspiring author, who meets Henry when he crashes her book club. With her own busy schedule of studies, work, and writing, Halle offers to tutor Henry in exchange for new experiences to fuel her writing inspiration. Together, they create a rule book to keep their partnership strictly platonic, but as they spend more time together—between study sessions and adventures—sticking to the rules proves harder than expected as they slowly fall for each other.

Review:
Daydream by Hannah Grace had a lot of potential, especially with the long-awaited story of fan-favorite Henry. The book certainly has its sweet and heartwarming moments, but I found myself wanting more from the romance itself. While the slow-burn, friends-to-lovers dynamic between Henry and Halle was cute, it never quite reached the level of tension or passion I was hoping for. Their relationship felt more friendly and comfortable than deeply romantic, and I often found myself waiting for a spark that never fully ignited. The book's focus seemed to shift more towards their personal growth and overcoming individual struggles, rather than the romance, which left me feeling like their love story took a backseat.

The characters are both incredibly relatable, with Halle's people-pleasing tendencies and Henry's neurodivergence adding depth to their personal challenges. I appreciated the way these issues were explored, but the constant focus on their problems made their conversations feel more like therapy sessions than romantic exchanges. The lack of romantic tension between them for a significant portion of the book, combined with repetitive dialogue, made the pacing drag in places. I expected more emotional depth from their interactions, but even after they got together, I didn’t feel particularly invested in their relationship.

Overall, Daydream is a sweet, feel-good romance that’s great for readers who prefer low-conflict relationships and enjoy watching characters navigate personal growth. However, if you’re looking for more tension, passion, or romantic chemistry, you might feel like something is missing. While it’s a charming addition to the Maple Hills series, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me compared to the previous books.

Daydream is the third installment in the Maple Hills series. While I did enjoy it would probably rank 3/3 for me.
I am a Hannah Grace fan & look forward to what she writes next. 3.5 stars.

I usually love all of Hannah Grace's book, but I agree with other reviews that this read too young adult for me to get into.

This is my favorite Hannah Grace book and the reason for that is the lack of spice and heat in this book. A lot of people said they didn’t like the lack of “romance” in the book. I feel the opposite. I loved that it was toned down compared to her previous books. I think it was a much more mature type of love. It wasn’t a lust that was filled with lots of sex. It was love that developed. And it was a love between two people struggling socially in their lives. And finding that person was so important to them, and that type of representation is so needed in books, especially romance books. Bravo Hannah Grace!
