Learn about the planets in our solar system and types of exoplanets in this book about outer space. This non-fiction book has more of a story feel than other space non-fiction titles, and introduces readers to the different climates present on planets.
This book is part nonfiction solar system awareness, and part typical picture book. Illustrations are lovely and the information is laid out great with the way the story progresses. Normally I would say I wish there were real pictures, but the artist did such a good job interpreting the information, that this book is a lovely read. It’s something kids will want to come back to.
This is a really nice picture book about the solar system & planets. It's beautifully colored & illustrated, with very informative text. I think it's structured towards young people, but adults reading/sharing it with the kids will really enjoy it too! I'd recommend this to everyone! It might be the start of a fun adventure!

Gladstone weaves informative text through this story of a child longing to see so much in space. Readers travel with them as they explore the Milky Way galaxy beyond our solar system. The illustrations capture the vastness of space and examples of what each type of exoplanet may look like. The text boxes offer information on each topic so readers can dream and learn as they read the book. Gladstone encourages readers to use their imagination and think about what may be waiting to be discovered beyond our known world.
